Coastside Trail Cache

By: enfuego Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

Parked at Mirada Road and took the nice paved trail down the shore. Found the cache with no problem. Took a Lou Seal pin and left a Hawaii keychain. Said hello to a family of fellow cachers coming up to the cache while were were leaving.

Circular beach reasoning

By: Skunkerkids Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

I got to within 100 feet of it but the ground around it was too swampy for me to continue. After putting one foot entirely into the mud I decided it wasn't worth getting both feet stuck and not being able to get out of the muck. I'll come back when it's a lot warmer and the ground's a lot dryer.

Whale Gate Cache

By: enfuego Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Found this one fairly easy. It was a colder overcast day but it wasn't raining! Took a Giants pin and left a Hawaii keychain.

Carnegie Libraries

By: DRAGN Tamers Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

Found the Gilroy Carnegie Library on 195 Fifth Street in Gilroy, California. It is now the City of Gilroy Museum. As you can see, there were a bunch of muggles on the stairs so I parked on the corner and took the picture from in the car.

Con Yada View

By: pedaler Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

Found this after searching for a couple of minutes. Nice views of Gilroy, especially with the sun setting. Took a Chinese character (Crazy) pendant and left a Hawaii keychain.

Amphitheater - Classically Greek!

By: Anton Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

This is the Christmas Hill Park Amphitheater in Gilroy, California. They hold the annual Gilroy Garlic Festival here. I took a picture from my car as there were a bunch of muggles around, a construction crew working on the roots of an old tree and a young couple in an amorous embrace.

Acacia's Cache

By: wallywiz Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

After parking on the wrong side of the creek, we drove around until we found the parking lot with the barn. A short walk away and we found it. The container doesn't close completely so the log is a bit damp. TNLNSL

Fire fighting vehicles

By: The Little Ones Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

I saw this Gilroy Fire Department firetruck at the Gilroy Premium Outlets. I was coming out of a store and saw it approaching. I ran to my car and grabbed my camera to take a picture. My GPSr was in the glove box so I couldn't get it out in enough time to get it in the pic.
