4:11pm I hadn't been to this park before but found the parking lot without trouble. Then we followed a paved road, walked down a grassy hill, walked up and down a little stream before crossing it and finally found the cache. Took ND/Beckerbuns carabiner, digitalfish 848 and 850, left 2005 sig item, micro sig item and digitalfish 1437, signed log.

5:39pm I had driven past this spot many times and always thought a cache could be placed there. I have no clue why I thought that, I just did. Anyway, it was an easy drive up, grab and sign with the hint. Took digitalfish #1482, left micro sig item, signed log. June 12, 2004 by dgreno
Apparently this is where venture capitalist go to die!
Everyone knows venture capitalists don't die...they go to Fry's and apply for a job. (Sorry, couldn't help it. How many former high-techers work there anyway?)

5:30pm Got a couple of hints from the cache owner and figured out the coordinates a couple of weeks ago. Went over today and it took a while, but my better half saw the cache while I was searching something else. TNLNSL.

POP #6By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
6:23pm I had solved this one about four months ago but hadn't been over to search for it since a cop was checking us out while finding POP #4. This time, darkness helped as we parked nearby, waited for traffic to fly by, grabbed and signed the cache. TNLNSL.

6:05pm Figuring this one is easier when it's dark, we headed over to look for this one tonight. When we got there I saw a good spot but our GPSr was pointing us in a different spot. Should have searched the first spot I saw because there it was. TNLNSL.

4:54pm Had been here a couple of weeks ago but had no clue what to do. One day at work, I was staring at the cache page and I knew what to do. Today we went back and figured out the coordinates and they led us right to the cache. Great history lesson of the area! TNLNSL.

8:54pm After eating some delicious barbecue sandwiches at Armadillo Willy's, we walked over to this cache. It really is a beautiful place at night, with the illuminated fountains. We searched for a while before finally figuring out what the hint related to but then it took a little more searching before my better half said, "Is that it?" And of course, it was. My hands were so cold by the time we found it, I had trouble opening the ziploc bag to get the log. When we got back to the car, the car's thermometer said it was 48 degrees. Brrr, easier at night, but much colder. TNLNSL.

3:41pm #400 We decided to try this one again after not knowing how to project a waypoint last time. This time, I might have projected it to magnetic north instead of true north as our waypoint was a couple of hundred feet off. The funny thing is, I had noticed the object a couple of minutes earlier, as we had passed it to get to the stop sign waypoint. Thanks for our 400th find!

Le Tour de FranceBy: bykenut Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
We tried looking for this one again today. The last time, the trail was busy and the local businesspeople were eating lunch, taking smoke breaks, etc. Today at dusk, there were only a few muggles here and there but we did get to search for a while. We found many perfect hiding spots along with catfood, "cat homes", and a couple of cats but no cache. Will try again some other time.

We looked for stage one for about fifteen minutes before walking over to the other cache in the park. While walking back we figured out the second part of the hint but when we got back to the cache site, there were a couple of dog walkers conversing about the war in Iraq so we couldn't search. Will try again soon.

CITO at the WorkshopBy: workerofwood Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
We spent the morning cleaning up the park next to our house. For such a small park, there sure was a lot of trash. There was even a shopping cart from Mitsuwa Marketplace but we weren't sure what to do with that. We then headed off to WoW's home to chat and socialize. Thanks for the great event!
CITO at the WorkshopBy: workerofwood Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
I saw someone signing the log but wasn't quite sure what it was. After putting it back in place, someone said I could log it too but I decided to wait until someone else found it. Then I could log it and they could try and put the tiny log back in the cache. And seeing such a small cache helped later in the day as we found a couple of more just like it around after not seeing one like it ever before.

#3 Mispelled Sign - I've driven past this sign in Mountain View, California a few times but never had my camera. Today I decided to fill up and log a cache at the same time. It's funny that it's misspelled because the correct spelling is found on the same structure. It seems to just be a careless mistake when getting the sign made.

5:38pm Twelth find of 12 in the SC series today. While using terraserver to look at another nearby cache, I saw the "bone" and found the cache site. When we got there, there was a van parked next to the cache so we decided to go into a nearby establishment to browse. When we were getting out of the car, a man walked by and looked at the cache site but when we came back and found the cache, we were the only one that had found it today. Thanks for the fun cache. TNLNSL. Oh yeah, based on the coordinates I got from terraserver, my GPSr said I was 4 feet away. Pretty accurate!

3:18pm I previously tried to find this one over a year ago. It's my last day vacationing on Maui before I have to go back to the rain and cold of Northern California. This time my GPSr wasn't picking up at all but I knew the general area I had searched the previous time. So I ruled out the area I had searched before and went straight for one of the objects in the hint. And there was the cache. Geez, that was easy I thought. Anyway, took chip clip, left sig item and digitalfish #1163 http://www.terryjue.org/geocaching/tracking/index.php and signed log.

3:30pm FTF!!! After DNFing this one a few days ago, the cache owner emailed me some corrected coordinates. We knew we were at the correct spot based on the first part of the clue although there were multiple objects the second part of the clue referred to. After searching using the corrected coordinates for about fifteen minutes I decided to just look around the area based on the second part of the clue. I eventually found it, but it was about 75 feet away from the coordinates given to me. I've posted the reading I got at the cache. Anyway, took cowrie shell, left sig item and signed log.

4:23pm Decided to try this one again after DNFing it a few days ago. It was windy and the surf was up so there weren't too many people at the beach and the cache area was empty so we could search without being interrupted. We searched for nearly twenty minutes before finding the cache. We had been focusing on the wrong area and eventually when WAAS picked up, it led us closer to the cache. TNLNSL.
