Triangle

By: Rocket Girl & DuckeyLee Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

6:25pm I'm assuming the last time we looked the cache was gone. This time, Jenn found it in a couple of minutes in a place I had already looked, but not good enough. TNLNSL.

6:17pm This was the third cache today where we parked right next to the cache. Once again, Jenn jumped out, brought the cache back to the car where we TNLNSL. She replaced the very unexpected container.

By: beckerbuns & friends Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:55pm We parked right next to the cache, Jenn jumped out and brought the cache back to the car where we TNLNSL and then replaced it. Still haven't seen Star Wars yet. We better hurry since it might not be in the theaters any longer.

John, the Holy Man

By: spyder woman Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

6:48pm I got a hint from a fellow cacher about how to approach this one. We found the numbers and then did our projection. I think I projected it using magnetic north instead of true north because when we eventually found the cache (after checking about 30 spots), the GPSr said we were 200 feet off on our projection. TNLNSL.

Columbian Mammoths of the Guadalupe River Basin

By: bullit Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen

7:20pm #700!!! We decided to make this our 700th, since our 500th and 600th were also Earthcaches. What an awesome earthcache this one is. We saw the bones and talked to the security guard. They're going to start excavating tomorrow so it'll be interesting to see the next photos. Thanks bullit!

Circles & Squares,Light & Dark

By: Rocket Girl and DuckeyLee Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

6:11pm It took a couple of tries to park in the correct parking spot but once we did, it was an easy find, although with an unexpected container. TNLNSL.

5:20pm We parked right next to the cache, Jenn jumped out and brought the cache back to the car where we TNLNSL, and then she replaced it. We both agree it's a very appropriate name for the cache!

Mission Corral

By: rc & boys Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

7:35pm We first tried searching for this one at around 5pm but we gave up after about ten minutes. Our GPSr wasn't cooperating so we just looked where we thought a cache might be hidden. We ran some errands and did some caching in Sunnyvale before coming back to this one. Jenn found the cache about five feet away from where I had been looking two hours previously. TNLNSL.

Heart on Target

By: Geohikin Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

7:26pm Down in Gilroy for the Garlic Festival and had some time afterwards to find a cache. Parked next to this one and it was an easy find. Had to wait out a shopping cart attendant at the other end of the parking lot to replace it. Took compass charm, left a bunch of my sig tokens, signed log.

Magic Squares of Odd Orders

By: TeamJiffy Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

7:42pm Even though I'm a "professional number cruncher", I needed help from another cacher to figure out this one. We got to the familiar cache site and parked about fifteen feet away. Jenn made the find and we TNLNSL.

Magic Squares of Doubly Even Orders

By: TeamJiffy Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

7:59pm My accounting education didn't help with this one so I needed help from another cacher to figure this one out. Our GPSr took us about a hundred feet past the cache so we had to turn around. I almost got a face full of spiderwebs but I used a stick to get rid of the webs and probe for the cache and there it was. TNLNSL.

Happy Birthday Joani!

By: mfc61 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

7:31pm We got the coordinates at the event but didn't have our GPSr with us then. We went back today and it took about a minute to find because there weren't too many hiding places. TNLNSL.

One Year

By: summerandnana Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

7:36pm There was no one on this part of the trail so we could search without being seen. Found in the second spot I looked. Nice hide! Took summerandnana token, left sig keychain, signed log.

Where's the Slide?

By: frivlas & OneAngryPuppy Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

8:25pm While driving to the event on Saturday, we saw digitalfish looking for this one. We drove by yesterday but there were kids in the park so we tried again today and the park was empty. It took a couple of minutes before I made the grab. TNLNSL.

M & J Geobeads #4 - USPC Stamp

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

7:58pm As I was looking around using the GPSr, Jenn found the cache just by looking around. She's getting better than me at finding caches! Took Fremont Glassens token, bead, and address label, left sig token and "something else", signed log. My dad was also in the Peace Corps many years ago, mainly in India.

Hawaiian Language Lesson #3

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

3:10pm I think I solved this one over a year ago but didn't try to find it till today. We had just finished watching March of the Penguins and there weren't too many people sitting outside the nearby eating establishments so we walked over to take a look. I lucked out and found the cache right in front of me. TNLNSL and Mahalo nui loa!

Before Time

By: CTomGeo Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

3:16pm We had just finished watching March of the Penguins so we decided to make the quick find on this one. Jenn used the old cell phone trick (although she actually called someone) and I made the grab. TNLNSL.

I'm sure it's still there. We just couldn't find it...have to keep up our DNF rate. [:D]

M & J Geobeads #3 - Signal the Frog

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

7:30pm As we were walking down the nearby "secret trailhead", I noticed a black cat ahead. It ran away and it looked like we wouldn't be crossing its path but I wasn't sure. Anyway, we got to the cache site and I started down the hill. Jenn was unsure about coming down but being the tropper she is, she tried anyway. I had almost reached the bottom when I heard a scream and turned around to see Jenn falling down the hill. She got up and seemed to be okay so I found the cache, took the summerandnana tokens and signal bead, left a sig keychain and "something else", signed log. As we got back to the top, Jenn decided it was time to go home because she was in pain. It's now three hours later and she's still icing down her bumps and bruises. So to future cachers, be very careful on this one! And maybe we did cross that black cat's path after all!

Secret Trailhead #20 - Campbell

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

7:23pm As we were walking to the cache, I read the hint to Jenn. I didn't know what the missing word but Jenn figured it out instantly. It was an easy find after that. Nice camo! TNLNSL.

Iron Horse

By: L & R (original owners Jeremy, Samsy & Elias) Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

1:45pm On a "business" trip to Seattle with Jenn's office. So of course we headed for the tunnel and the APE cache. Found this one along the way. I had a nice scramble through the raspberry bushes. Took xwarrior wooden nickel, left sig keychain, signed log.

Mission 9: Tunnel of Light

By: Project APE (maintained by Moun10Bike) Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Large

2:10pm On a "business" trip to Seattle with Jenn's office. We had a free day so we rented a car and headed to the tunnel. After taking about an hour to get through the tunnel (stopping a couple of times to take pictures) we made it out and headed to the cache. We had to wait for a few bicyclers to past but after that it was an easy find. There were a lot of things to go through but the Shop99er token caught our eye (it is neon green of course!) so we took that, left a bronze Mauison geocoin (please only trade for another geocoin!), and signed the log. Yeah, another icon!!!

Iron Horse (East)

By: LucyandRickie, CachinCin and Team SuperGenius Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

12:27pm On a "business" trip to Seattle with Jenn's office. We had a free day so of course we headed to the tunnel. It was raining when we got there but after finding this cache, we headed through the tunnel. And sun and blue sky welcomed us as we exited the other side. TNLNSL.

By: Uncle Al from Sacramento Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

3:41pm My first cache in Washington state...and done in the rain, of course! We had just visited the nearby Seattle Aquarium and walked over to this one. We had to check both plaques to make sure we had the correct one. Thanks for the interesting spot!

Stonehenge

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Second try on this one and second DNF. Even with the correct description in my PDA we still couldn't find it. I just read Marky's February 5 log which would've helped us in the search.

3 Cup

By: Tonton-Ca Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

5:24pm Boy, do I hate searching in that stuff but luckily I found this in a couple of seconds. TNLNSL.

Tough

By: 2burbacious Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

7:11pm We think we would have done better with a regular compass also. We searched the wrong object for about five minutes before I rethought which one we should be searching. It took about two seconds to find it after searching the correct object. TNLNSL.

Cheap (First Cache)

By: 2burbacious Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:13pm Like bytemobile said, there were a few objects that the hint related to but luckily I chose the correct one. Took Leggoes chip, left sig token, signed log.

Rails to Trails #1

By: Team LegGoes Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

6:45pm Like the last finder, it took about two seconds to find it this time. We're 100% sure it wasn't in that spot the last time we searched because there's no way we would have missed it. BTW, the log is full so you could check the location of the cache also. TNLNSL.

Billys Box

By: GeoCachers Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

5:38pm It took a few minutes but Jennifer found it while I was reading the past logs on my PDA. TNLNSL.

By: Tonton-Ca Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:47pm Walked right up and saw the cache immediately. I don't understand why this cache is hidden here? Anyway, TNLNSL.

Mellow Brick Road

By: workerofwood Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:20pm We parked down the road and crossed the road a couple of times before spying the cache's hiding place. TNLNSL.

Montalvo's Back Door

By: workerofwood Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

5:37pm There's no close parking so Jenn dropped me off and I went alone to find the cache. Found in a couple of minutes and got some spider webs on me. Called Jenn to come pick me up after TNLNSL.

By: boulter Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:51pm We had just found Montalvo's Back Door so we drove up to this one too. Great views on the way back down. TNLNSL.

You are sick - REALLY sick!

By: mfc61 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

6:45pm I guess my arms are shorter than Jenn's, cause she could reach the cache when I couldn't. But she got some scrapes from the thorny plant so future finders, watch out! TNLNSL.

July Birthday Bash

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

We'll (2) be there! Happy Birthday Joani!

Festivus

By: spyder woman Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

5:01pm After putting in over an hour worth of driving on previous tries, I got a good hint from the cache owner about where the entry point was. We got there today and found out we were less than 50 feet off from a previous try. We took the nice walk to the cache and startled an 8-point buck and a 10-point buck within 30 feet of the cache. Once they ran off, we found the cache easily. TNLNSL. P.S. On our first try we did find a pole. It was a tall flag pole in someone's front yard and we thought that was the correct way to the cache but of course, it wasn't.

3:14pm Easy find with the previous logs. Not really hidden, just wedged between two things. TNLNSL.

Casey@bat Cache

By: Tonton-Ca Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

3:02pm No one around so we could search without being bothered. Searched for a couple of minutes before Jenn said, "It can't be that, could it?" I told her to check and it was. Cachers might want to try and find this soon before the summer baseball season starts. I wonder how long it'll last in its current state. TN, left sig token, signed log.

Maisie's Peak

By: Sharkz & bullit Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small

7:24pm We had been trying to get to Nob Hill first and then come back down and grab this one but as usual, I led us to take a wrong trail on the way up. Like the last cacher said, the hint no longer applies but we found the cache easily, as we saw the geocaching sticker. TN, left sig item keychain, signed log. Mahalo for the view!

By: bullit & Sharkz Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Micro

Nob Hill

By: stbk Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular

7:50pm We finally made it up here, after thinking about trying a few times previously. There was a biker coming down the hill as we were walking up. It took about a minute to find the cache. TN, left Mauison bronze geocoin, signed log. Please trade another geocoin if you take mine. Thanks!
