Salty Cache

By: MaxEntropy Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

12:49pm I was up in Newark for some work and when I was done, I decided to stop by to check this one out. It's a good thing I read the description last night or I might not have figured out what to do. TNLNSL.

Cache-Out-In-Trash

By: workerofwood Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

4:43pm We'd found the first stage a few months ago but there were muggles in the vicinity so we tried again today. According to our Prius, it was 48 º out so the park was empty. Looked in a couple of places before seeing the cache peeking out. TNLNSL.

Where's Muriel?

By: santacruztacean Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:35pm Took a nice little walk around the site before I noticed something. There was Muriel and there was the cache. TNLNSL. Logging for Coin Quest.

By: frivlas and oneangrypuppy Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:04pm We'd walked to this park a few times before (about a 2.25 mile round trip from our house) but decided to drive to the nearest entry since it was so cold out (50 º according to our Prius). Looked in a couple of spots before finding the nicely hidden cache. TNLNSL.

Santa Clara Youth Soccer Park

By: bullit Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Another DNF for us. We didn't have the new hint which would have narrowed our search down. We'll try again one of these days.

The Black Hole

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 5.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Not chosen

2:56pm #800!!! I had looked at this one over the months and couldn't get past the first stage. One night, I made a breakthrough and over the next few nights, I got to the final stage. I couldn't figure it out so I took a break from the puzzle for a couple of weeks. A little nudge from Daryl and I was able to obtain the correct coordinates. When we got to the cache site, I knew where the cache had to be. So I looked at one side and Jenn looked at the other and as we swiveled our heads, boink, we knocked our heads together. Quite funny and we did find the cache. Thanks for a great puzzle! TN, left a sig token, signed log.

Riverfalls

4:20pm We had lunch at Baja Fresh nearby and walked over to this one. I saw where the cache should be and it was there. Took Mystery Ink bead, left sig token, signed log.

Want fries with that?

By: Somethings Fishy Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:39pm Out for a few hours of caching before Thanksgiving dinner. Perfect day to search since the business was closed. Easy find, TNLNSL. Maybe it was good that the business was closed, as I probably would've wasted good caching time by browsing aisle after aisle.

Here Kitty Kitty Kitty

By: Somethings Fishy Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:34pm Out for a few hours of caching before Thanksgiving dinner. The business was closed so we could search without interruption. And it was a good thing because it took us a while. When we eventually saw the cache (at a spot we had searched previously), I had to kick something a few times to loosen it. Maybe the cold weather froze it a bit. Anyway, TNLNSL.

Sushi Cache

By: Team SARS Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

3:23pm Out for a few hours of caching before Thanksgiving dinner. The nearby restaurant and ice cream shop were closed although muggles were picking up pies from Marie Callendar's. This one took a while as Jenn missed it on the first pass but I eventually checked again and found the nicely hidden cache. TNLNSL.

BOP

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Out for a few hours of caching before Thanksgiving dinner. We searched for about a minute before aborting because a muggle at the bus stop was eyeing us the entire time. We'll be back.

By: Rocket Girl and DuckeyLee Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:21pm Out for a few hours of caching before Thanksgiving dinner. Drove past a couple of times before deciding to park next to the cache (although I wouldn't recommend it on a non-holiday day). Took a few moments to spot and TNLNSL.

Speed Ease

By: Rocket Girl and DuckeyLee Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

3:34pm Out for a few hours of caching before Thanksgiving dinner. Walked right up to the cache but had a little trouble getting it out. Needs a new cover, the tape holding it is losing its adhesiveness. TNLNSL.

3:51pm Out for a few hours of caching before Thanksgiving dinner. As I admired the object before me, Jenn made the quick find. TNLNSL.

By: boulter Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

3:11pm Out for a few hours of caching before Thanksgiving dinner. I had solved this one the day it came out but we saved the searching for today. Quick find and TNLNSL. As for DVD's, I've still got tons of them I've bought but have yet to watch. I just got Star Wars 3, Roswell Season 3, and Undeclared.

Forgotten Stairs

By: Rocket Girl and Duckeylee Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:10pm Out for a few hours of caching before Thanksgiving dinner. We had checked out the area a half an hour earlier but some muggles were hanging around across the street. We came back and the coast was clear. Took a few minutes and as Jenn said, "Found it!", some muggles appeared. We had to outwait them and then we TNLNSL after they continued down the street.

6:01pm Out for a few hours of caching before Thanksgiving dinner. This was #15 for the day, a new one day record for us. And we only cached for about 3hrs15min. Anyway, this was a little difficult in the dark. Took a few minutes of searching lots of spots before finding the cache. TNLNSL.

What, No Spinach?

By: popeye2 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

3:44pm Out for a few hours of caching before Thanksgiving dinner. Before leaving from the previous cache, the answer to this one popped into my head since I've eaten there before. A quick calculation and we drove off. We got to the spot and thought, maybe the calculation is wrong but nope, there was the cache. BTW, if you smell something funky, you're in the right spot. TNLNSL.

West Side Story

By: mbrill Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

The trail is finally open so we went looking for this cache today. Looked in a lot of places referred to in the hint but couldn't find it. Since there was a lot of trail construction in the area, maybe the cache owner could go take a look to make sure it's still there.

West Side Story

By: mbrill Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

I'm logging this as a find with the cache owner's permission. It was a fun multi, too bad the trail took forever to be redone and reopened. TFTC!
