Rube's Tiki Cache

By: The Petoskey Stones Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

2:31pm Found this one before the rains came so we could take our time to search. We searched for a few minutes before Jenn spotted something and I spotted the cache. You think you've seen it all but then a cache like this comes around and you're amazed once again. Awesome cache! TNLNSL.

SJC- 1 - The Brooke Hart Kidnapping

By: nostrada - Adopted by Nazgul Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Along for the find with Kealia and Hula Bum. I found a container and was looking at that when the real cache was found. We've never been here so we'll have to come back for the other caches. TNLNSL.

Friendship

By: airshadowshow Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

2:33pm We think we found the cache because we found a container usually used for a cache, but it was empty. It was in the obvious hiding spot and painted to match its surroundings. I didn't have any paper to make a makeshift logsheet so I left one of my micro sig tokens as proof I found it.

Christmas Tree Lights II

By: sloigo Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other

5:11pm It rained quite a bit today so the park was almost empty. Easy drive up and find. Didn't see the TB. TNLNSL.

Premium Outlets #1

By: Pal_Al Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

12:57pm Jenn and her Mom were shopping so I decided to head over to this one since I'm not a big shopper. There were quite a few muggles walking past so I used the cell phone trick while looking around. A minute after I started searching, I noticed another cacher walking towards me. He came over and it was sloigo. We found the cache and chatted for a bit. TNLNSL.

Santa Clara Youth Soccer Park

By: bullit Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

We decided to try this one for the fourth time. This time we actually saw the cache but couldn't retrieve it. Not sure if this was the latest hidden container or a previous one. Also not sure what to log this, so I'm posting it as a note. Will email cache owner details of what we found. Edit: The cache we saw was an older one, not the latest so I'm changing my note to a DNF. Heck, what's one more? [:D]

GeoBeads #9 - Hidden in a Hidden Walkway

By: zapboy with help from workerofwood Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

3:42pm We had found the previous cache in this walkway and thought it might be a similar hide. It wasn't so it took us a few minutes when I saw something and found the cache. Nice hide! Took bead, LNSL.

Cupertino City Hall, 1950s Edition

By: stbk Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

6:53pm We thought this would be the perfect time to find this, Sunday night so no one should be around. Of course, one muggle walked by before we found it and one muggle walked by after we found it. Easy find but I can see why it'd be hard not to be seen during the day. Logsheet was full but I found a blank line to sign on. TNLNSL.

West Pole

By: ALCLGL Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:17pm No one around since it's Sunday so it was an easy find. TNLNSL.

Just Half a Trail

By: workerofwood Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:01pm The half camo was great on this one because Jenn found it right where I was looking a few minutes previously. The logbook was damp but more half dry than half wet, if that makes sense. TNLNSL.

Sunnyvale Rough

By: bytemobile Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

4:49pm We got to this one after bypassing three other caches because of a high muggle factor. There was a zero muggle factor on this one and Jenn made the find. Took pin, left sig keychain, signed log.

Bus Bench Bugaloo #2

By: southbayday Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

5:11pm No one around on a Sunday so it was an easy find. TNLNSL.

Sylvan Park

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

3:29pm Very quick find, saw it right away. It does blend in great though. TNLNSL.

Numbers Hound # 1

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

4:07pm We had been searching for about five minutes with no luck when batecher showed up to save us. Took a few more minutes but he made the find. Chatted a bit, then we headed off for more caches. TNLNSL.

Numbers Hound # 2

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

3:53pm Easy find but it was in the third place I checked. TNLNSL.

SC Fire - Stars and Stripes

By: frivlas Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:33pm Took a few minutes but we eventually found the nice camoed cache. TNLNSL.

SC Fire - Agnew Station

By: nielsenc Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:51pm Found the cache very fast, since I had seen a couple of these at the previous cache I had found. Just as we were replacing the cache, the station's firetruck turned the corner and went past us, back to the station. TNLNSL.

End of the Trail 3: Palo Alto Baylands

By: darrenk13 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

3:39pm We made the walk down the trail and since it's been warm the past week, not muddy at all. I spotted the obvious place for the cache to be hidden but my GPSr was pointing at a different spot. I trusted my hunch and found the cache. TNLNSL.

As far as we could go!

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

3:29pm There was a birdwatcher with a high powered set of binoculars nearby but he left after a couple of minutes and we made the find. Nice spot to relax and take in the scenery. TNLNSL.

Almost Natural

By: Rocket Girl and DuckeyLee Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

3:23pm We had DNFed this one previously as the sun was setting. This time, with the sun shining brightly, Jenn found it in about two seconds. I couldn't believe where it was, about 2 inches from where I was looking last time. Doh! TNLNSL.

Baylands Trail Junction

By: geekster Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

4:50pm Our GPSr was pointing at another good spot to hide a cache but we didn't see what the hint refers too. Eventually our GPSr pointed us a few feet away and found the cache soon after. Took digitalfish, left sig token, signed log.

Pheasant Roost

By: geekster Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

4:25pm We spotted a good hiding spot and as we were walking towards it, a few Canadian geese decided to squawk and fly away. This freaked Jenn out so we had to wait till they flew away before searching. Found the nicely camoed cache soon thereafter. Took buddha, left sig keychain, signed log.

Stroller Friendly #4: That's not my diaper!

By: Geo Baby Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

4:10pm We had to outwait a few muggles and then we started to look. Jenn saw the hiding spot and I retrieved the cache. Took dollar, left sig keychain and sig button, signed log.

The POWER to SCORE!

By: The Petoskey Stones Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

1:35pm When the weather's nice and warm, I like to pick up a Subway sandwich and eat lunch at this park. Jenn joined me for lunch today and after devouring our Cold Cut Combo, we headed over to this cache. I didn't have my GPSr but I had a suspicion where it would be. Found it in the second place I looked. Great camo! TNLNSL.

Plug Ugly? 3

By: Mr. Ranger Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

Even though we had seen the last few DNF's, we were in the area so we decided to take a look. Didn't find anything so it must be gone.

Come Again

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:33pm We had to bypass this one last weekend because of muggles. When we approached the spot, the cache spot was once again occupied. So we walked over to another cache we had to bypass last week also and then came back to this one. A few muggles here and there this late in the day so it was an easy find, grab, and sign. TNLNSL.

Charleston Slough

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

5:27pm We had to bypass this one last weekend because of muggles. A few here and there this late in the day so it was an easy find, grab, and sign. TNLNSL.

Almost Natural

By: Rocket Girl and DuckeyLee Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I'm pretty sure we found the same thing. Took the lid off, felt around, nothing. But I read the description that it's a small cache and was originally filled with tokens and buttons so I knew it couldn't be the cache.
