Sage View

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

3:09pm We were startled by a bunch of quail and when are hearts settled down again, we marched onto the cache area. Saw the obvious hiding spot and found it. Took Mystery Ink smashed penny, left CA wooden nickel, signed log. Didn't see any geobeads but we did find a cache print out, which we were able to return to zapboy later on in the day. CQ18.

A river runs near it?

By: Mystery Ink Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Not chosen

4:15pm In between muggles, we searched, not finding anything so I gave Batfish a call. He hadn't found it but had figured out the hint and what we should be looking for. As I finished the call, we met zapboy and we all started to look. I finally found it and we were all relieved. TNLNSL.

Log This Cache!

By: zapboy Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

4:47pm We finally found the way to the cache and saw the obvious hiding spot. Sure looks like there's a lot more space to hide caches around here. TNLNSL.

50 Feet High (formerly Knee High)

By: zapboy Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

4:29pm It took a few minutes but we caught a glimpse of the cache peeking from behind its hiding spot. As we were waiting for muggles to walk past us, one of them said, we already found it. It was one of zapboy's newbie cachers. The coast was clear so we made the grab. TNLNSL.

Picchetti Peacocks

By: ladybug54 & trode Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

3:28pm No peacocks today and it's a good thing, as Jenn would've made us turn right around and go home. [:D] I was looking at the wrong cache description on my PDA but we looked around and saw the cache from a short distance. Took bullit sig item, left Go Jaybee wooden nickel, signed log.

Mossy Tree

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

2:39pm Finally out caching again, after only finding 1 in the past month. Tried parking up at the winery but the lot was full. Found this entrance and there was parking! My GPSr said we were still about 70 feet away but I knew where the cache had to be. And it was. Took TB and pin, left TB and pin, signed log. CQ11.

Oak View

By: British Invasion Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

5:13pm We really took the long and wrong way to get here. We bushwhacked through some bushes and trees and ended up attracting over 20 large ticks on the both of us. After flicking them off our GPSr had settled down and led us to the cache. TNLNSL. CQ10.

Graduation Day

By: big checker Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:19pm It was an overcast and cold late afternoon so there were only a few muggles walking along the path. None where we were searching so we could take our time. We needed it as our GPSr pointed us to one spot, then to another spot a few minutes later, then another spot a few minutes after that. Finally found it and TNLNSL.
