By: LarsThorwald Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:09pm On the way back from Disneyland and we stopped for a few caches along the way. This one took a while as I told Jenn, "I'm a doofus". She made the find in a spot I had looked at previously. Didn't check out the gift shop, just wanted to get back home to San Jose ASAP. TNLNSL.

You need a break

By: georgeandmary Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

11:46pm On the way to Disneyland and we stopped for a few caches along the way. Yep, this one is a variation and because of that, it took us a while to find. Luckily, I saw the tip of the cache peeking out from its hiding spot. TNLNSL.

Traveling along

By: TeamMiller Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

2:00pm On the way to Disneyland and we stopped for a few caches along the way. We always stop here on the way to DL and on the way back from DL and had been within this spot a few times before but it had been missing. This time we parked a few feet away from it and made the easy grab. TNLNSL.

By: Buda Babe Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

12:50pm On the way to Disneyland and we stopped for a few caches along the way. This one took a while to find as I'm not sure it's hidden where it was originally placed because it's not really hidden now. It might need to be checked on. TNLNSL.

Cheechoo Cache

By: Thefogheads Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

6:43pm We had a nice walk along this part of the trail to the cache and should have searched the first place I checked a little better. After looking at other places for a couple of minutes, I made the find. TN, left my NWPA geocoin, Maryland geocoin, Finland geocoin, signed log. Go Sharks!!!

STACT: End of the road and trail

By: bullit Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

6:56pm We walked down the trail from the north, then noticed we had to cross Central to get to the cache. Not too many cars today so we made it over quickly. Checked a couple of spots before Jenn made the find. TNLNSL.

A Bird's Disappointment

By: southbayday Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

6:25pm As we pulled up to this one, Jenn noticed the name of the cache and said, "Hmmm, a bird's disappointment is my happiness." Anyway, looked in a couple of spots before finding the nice cache. TN, left a couple of TBs, a geocoin, my Kansas geocoin, my Iowa geocoin, and signed log.

Element #60

By: GeekDad Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

6:04pm This one took longer than it should have. We parked on a nearby street and walked over to this one. About 250 ft away, our batteries die. We decided to make an educated guess and search where we think the cache should be. After ten minutes, we decided to walk back to the car to get fresh batteries. We drive back, Jenn drops me off and I go searching. I find the cache about three feet from the first place I was searching earlier. Aaargh!!! Anyway, very nice camo. TN, left my Wisconsin geocoin, China Gold geocoin, and Tenn pewter geocoin, signed log.

Been Here: Walsh

By: 50sumtin Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

FTDNF, guess it had to finally be someone. We often wonder why we can find 3.5 and 4 star difficulty caches, sometimes within seconds. And then these 1.5 star hides come along and we both can't find it. We looked in a lot of hiding spots but didn't see anything. Oh well, we'll try again some other time since we're moving back to Sunnyvale soon.

Hey, Larry!

By: Thefogheads Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

We searched for about ten minutes, not finding anything, then had to abort our search as some teenage muggles decided to sit nearby.

Santa Clara Youth Soccer Park

By: bullit Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

6:38pm We finally get to take this off our DNF list. We started searching the old spots again till I decided to check the lastest info. Found it shortly thereafter. Glad to finally find this one. TNLNSL.

Nowhere Near the Bloody Pond

By: Team Nazgul Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:01pm We stopped by the park and there was a mother and her kids playing on the nearby playground. So we went to another cache and then came back to this one and they were gone. Found it in a few moments of searching. The dog next door started barking so we signed the log and got the heck out of there. TNLNSL.

Double Secret Trailhead

By: workerofwood Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

7:44pm Parked nearby and made the walk over to this one. Quick find. Looks like the segment of trail is open now. TNLNSL.

Biff Tannen

By: triplep220 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Add another DNF to the list. We met up with PisoMojado and kids down at Doctor Emmett Brown and searched for this one together. Searched for about fifteen minutes before giving up, as the mosquitoes were voracious the entire time we were there. We all had to keep moving or we'd be eaten alive. Maybe I'll try again during the summer.

Doctor Emmett Brown

By: triplep220 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

6:51pm Parked nearby but not as near as PisoMojado, who drove up as we had the cache in hand. Talked for a bit, then we drove over to the next cache. TNLNSL.

Cache-Fishing

By: STP Ron Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

By: Mcgrude-n-Nif (adopted by budd-rdc) Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Not chosen

By: Sharkz Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

Over Here

By: Sharkz Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Hillside Destruction

By: Sharkz Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

4:20pm We stopped at this one on the way to Piccheti. We almost made it a drive up cache but were off by about twenty feet. Jenn made the find while I was scrambling around a few feet away. TNLNSL.

Lakeshore Picnic Cache

By: GeoBrowns Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

6:14pm We parked nearby and Jenn made the find. Very cool! TNLNSL.

By: bullit Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

6:38pm I finally figured this one out a week ago and we made the drive up to this one. Easy find as the cache wasn't covered very well. We met Geowomyn and Lgrl in the parking lot and had a nice chat. And we all wondered whose cachemobile was parked nearby. TNLNSL.
