Busted Bunny CacheBy: czechcachers Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
3:02pm I brought my pops along today to try and find this one we DNFed before because we stopped short of the trail to the top. Today, we drove up the paved road and parked within 500 feet of the cache. I was looking around for good hiding spots, looked down and there was the cache at my feet. TNLNSL.
Become AkamaiBy: Lava Flo Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular
Cruising by today and took a look at the info we needed. We had tried to find the cache when it was there a while ago but there was a muggle in the parking lot in plain view of the cache spot. Hopefully when the construction ends, you can hide another cache there. It's a very educational spot that every visitor to Hawaii should try to stop at.
old road to LahainaBy: Selina_and_Eric Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
2:33pm Went caching with my pops for a few hours today. Tackled this one first, not too bad a walk and the great views keep you distracted. Easy find, took Cartman TB, Little Britan TB, turtle, NM sig item, left CA wooden nickel, Raiders antenna topper, signed log. P.S. There were no other TB's in the cache so the other TB's listed should probably be marked as missing.
Viking RockBy: Angry Eyebrows Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
3:41pm I brought my pops along for some caching today and it took a while but we finally found the cache. It was quite warm today and the ocean looked really cool, but this wasn't the place to take a dip. Lots of nice beaches further down towards Lahaina. And thanks for taking us to another historical spot we never knew about, even though we've lived on Maui for many, many years. TNLNSL.
Somewhere in San JoseBy: catomcat Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Add another DNF to the long list. Even with the new hint, we searched for about twenty minutes before giving up. Not our favorite type of hide at all but I'm sure the challenge will bring us back to look for it.
Killarny Farms OakBy: CKayaks Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
5:51pm We couldn't find this one when it was hidden near the bush and it took a couple of minutes to find it this time. It's kind of hard to be stealthy in this spot, maybe it's a better night cache. TNLNSL.
Carmelite Santa ClaraBy: jdieas347 and Angel827 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
6:15pm This one took about fifteen minutes to find, as we showed up in time to hear the bells chime at 6pm. We looked for about 14 minutes before the batteries in my GPSr ran out of juice. Went back to the car to put in fresh ones but didn't need the GPSr because I walked right up to the cache after that. TNLNSL.
Razor Sharp CatwalkBy: Jdieas347 and Angel827 Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Another DNF for us. We searched for about fifteen minutes before giving up. We did get to see a Caltrain go past us below. Now that I read the previous logs, I know what type of cache container we're looking for so we'll try again some other time.
SC Fire - PruneridgeBy: frivlas Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
5:42pm Had to check a couple of places before finding this one. Smelled like the firefighters were cooking up some BBQ. TNLNSL.
Plug Ugly? 3By: Mr. Ranger Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
6:20pm Yep, don't know how we didn't find it last time, although we didn't search the hiding spot at all last time. This time I finally found it after I kept thinking to myself, It has to be here! TN, left my traveling Delaware and Wyoming geocoins, signed log.
Space CowgirlsBy: Space Cowgirl CaliSeaStar Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
5:17pm After watching the World Cup all morning and afternoon, we decided to do a few caches and started at this one. No one in the park at all so we could search without being bothered. Took a couple of glances but we found it. TN, left C3PO TB, my traveling World Traveler geocoin, signed log.
Aerial Boundaries - Formerly: Jumping PolesBy: SlumDweller Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
Looked in the obvious spots for a few minutes but didn't find anything. Will try again when we're in the area next.
241HT1416By: budd-rdc Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Not chosen
We think we know what the theme to this one is and we did search for it with no luck, so a DNF for us.
Somewhere in Los Altos revisited.By: catomcat Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
We searched for about twenty minutes, finding a couple of really good hiding spots but no cache. We can never find the Somewhere series caches on our first try so we kind of expected this. Will try again when we're in the area next.
Ex Post CachoBy: Antfugue Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
8:09pm We made this a lot harder than it should have been. Took a few minutes to find. I had something to mail so it was a convenient spot. TNLNSL.
Half Dome in the ParkBy: Antfugue Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small
8:00pm Like the last finder, we searched the wrong "half dome" for about twenty minutes before finding the correct "half dome". Didn't have to do any climing or ascending as the cache was sitting there, open, with the logbook sitting right next to it. After we TNLNSL, we replaced it where the hint refers to.
Hetch Hetchy Trail - CountdownBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
5:37pm Ingenious! This was a very fun one to do and luckily we found the cache pretty quickly. TNLNSL.
KittycatBy: triangulated Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
6:03pm The parking lot was deserted so we could search without being bothered. Easy find, wanted to leave a Hello Kitty TB but it was too big. TN, left my travelling Route 66 and Florida geocoins, signed log. Cache container will need to be changed or fixed as it doesn't seal because of the broken latches.
If You Build It They Will ComeBy: Rocket Girl Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
Stopped by to pick up Brandi, the White Jeep that is, not a date. [:D] Also dropped off my traveling TAG geocoin.
PH0NYBy: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
I figured out the first stage after 1am a few nights/mornings ago. Took three tries to figure out the second stage and it was an easy find after that. Akamai puzzle! Mahalo!
Cottle RanchBy: DR Doolittle, the Mrs. & Zoo Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Virtual
We were in the area so we did a quick stop for this one. Thanks for the history lesson!
Baylands TeamworkBy: bytemobile Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
7:29pm We finished up this one today, another 5 miles of walking, thanks for the exercise! The rest of the stages were easy but it took us a while to find the final cache, even though it was right under our noses the entire time. TNLNSL.
Between Two SpacesBy: Marky & Joani & Woof! Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
Coin drop
Ivy meets woodBy: alpharomero.com, adopted by yTKa Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
8:03pm Took a few minutes to find as the powerlines overhead made our GPSr go crazy. Used the hint and the title of the cache to finally make the grab. There was a party nearby with a live band. TNLNSL.
Are We There Yet? - Endless SwitchbacksBy: ed777 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
5:38pm Took a nice walk down to this one and the letterbox a little further. We saw some deer and a coyote on the way back. Took calipidder sig item, left CA wooden nickel, signed log.
Stevens Creek LizardboxBy: ed777 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
6:02pm Yeah, our first letterbox hybrid! We took the nice walk down to the cache and saw lots of lizards along the trail sunning themselves. We even got to see the California newts swimming in the stream nearby. That was cool! Stamped the book with our koi stamp and stamped our book with the lizard stamp. TNLNSL.
Hard and BrownBy: Rocket Girl Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
7:42pm Stopped by this one and it took a couple of minutes to find when it should've taken a couple of seconds. Nice camo! TNLNSL.
Coffee AnyoneBy: Rocket Girl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
10:30pm We were restless at home so we went out for a Java Chip Frappuccino. We sat down outside to let the GPSr settle down. After a minute or two another customer decided he was going to light up a cigar so we moved. And as luck would have it, we sat down a few feet from the cache. TNLNSL.
WoW! Hidden Secrets!By: CC Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I'm glad I didn't go after this one last night. If it had been closer to where I live now, I might have been tempted. And I wouldn't have found it either, as I just figured out the correct coords now.
River here, River thereBy: Mystery Ink Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
6:40pm Parked in a nearby lot and started walking towards the bridge. Hey, the GPSr is pointing in the other direction. We backtracked and found the nicely camoed cache. TNLNSL.
Somewhere in Mountain ViewBy: catomcat Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro
6:54pm We took a nice evening stroll to this one. I looked in a few places before finally finding it. It was the first thing I looked at but I didn't check it. Nice hide! TNLNSL.
Cone of SilenceBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
7:15pm Took a walk from our apartment down to this one and this time, our GPSr picked up. We didn't use it though as I had a good idea what to look for and the cache was found in about a minute. Nice container! TNLNSL.
Operation FutariBy: The Rat Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
7:03pm #1000!!! Yippee!!! We were close to 1000 finds and saw that Sgt. Stitches had done this one for his 1000th find. Seemed like a great cache for a milestone, as the story relates to my heritage as well as Jenn's heritage, which also made some of the solving easier. Great story from start to finish and a couple of the stages were very, very appropriate. We'd passed by one of the stages many times before, not knowing it was there of course. The actual find was easier than solving for the coordinates and we took a while to read the story and look through the cache. Took some pictures too, and had a nice walk back to the car. Mahalo nui loa!!!
Oh yeah, I took sheet #3, so there should be 4-7 left.
Hemlock's Test Cache - April Fools!By: Hemlock, Lil Devil & Workerofwood Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
4:45pm Very clever! We knew this was a WoW creation but we didn't assume enough as we walked past the cache a few times before Jenn found it. TNLNSL.
101 TFTs - Three of a kindBy: winini Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
5:09pm Our previous DNF was because the cache had fallen. This time, it was there and it was an easy grab. TNLNSL.
Where did all the water go?By: Mystery Ink Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small
6:44pm Got lucky on this one, as I spotted the hiding spot on the walk up. TNLNSL.
Just around the corner... now improved!!By: Mr_BKK Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
4:14pm We were close to 1000 finds and needed a few more so we stopped for this one. We had found the previous cache so this was almost a walk up and grab, although we checked the wrong object first. I opened the cache very slowly, as finders of the previous cache might do, and TNLNSL.
Gotta Love ItBy: workerofwood Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
7:41pm Thanks Steve, after finding this cache we ended up buying a half dozen. [:D] TNLNSL.
BOPBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I want to be a HiltonBy: pao_flyer Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
We looked all around for a few minutes in the dark but couldn't find anything. Didn't want to linger too long shining a flashlight so we decided we'll try again sometime during the day.
Easy as Pi 1By: Team.Geek Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
7:26pm I found an online tool and had the coordinates in a couple of minutes. Drove to the cache site and saw something and there was the cache. Easy find since the plants look like they've been trimmed back. TNLNSL.
Never on a SundaeBy: pao_flyers Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
9:24pm Stopped by after dinner and after buying a scoop each, we lingered outside to eat our dessert and look for the cache. It took about ten minutes until we both noticed something and there was the cache. Very nice! TNLNSL. And I thought we were supposed to lose weight from all the caching. Instead, caching tonight brought us a half dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts and two scoops of ice cream. [:D]
This Sucks Too!By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
8:28pm We looked at the hint and didn't know which one of the surround objects it referred to. Luck was on our side though, as the cache was found in the first spot I checked. Took TB, LNSL.
Monta LomaBy: brian1789 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
8:05pm We ended up parking in the school lot and walking through the campus to find this one. We would've found this one faster but Jenn thought it was another thing that we would usually stay away from. TNLNSL.
Alviso Marina -- Nature and History WalkBy: bullit Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
6:39pm We were out for a nice walk after work and decided to head out to Alviso. The marina looked like a whole new place since he hadn't been there in about two years. We made the necessary walk around the place and got all the info. Thankfully, the checksum added up and we walked over to the cache. First time I've seen that type of container. TN, left my traveling Portland and Ark-Mo geocoins, signed log.
High VoltageBy: bullit Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
7:17pm That was a cool looking power pole. After we made the cache grab, a husky came walking over to us. His owner was exercising him/her by driving around in his van and letting his dog follow him. The dog was interested in us but the owner was more interested in getting his dog to follow him. TNLNSL.
Two WadesBy: Team Nazgul Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
7:20pm Parked nearby and made the grab. Good info about the area. Too bad the buildings can't get renovated or refurbished. TNLNSL.
Guadalupe River: Port of AlvisoBy: bullit Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
7:04pm This one took a few minutes, as I had the original hint. We focused too much on the hint and should have just looked around as the cache is pretty much in the open. TNLNSL.
Dead DuckBy: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
I got home early from work and knew Jenn wouldn't want to go look for this one based on the title of the cache. So I made the short walk out to the cache site. Spent about half an hour, getting poked by plants, stepping in goose poo, and not finding the cache. I had a good satellite lock and WAAS but couldn't come up with the cache. Maybe when the grass and plants die down I'll go search again.
Sunnyvale's TrashBy: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
6:19pm I was hampered by Motorbug's previous hides so it took a couple of minutes to find. TN, managed to squeeze in my traveling World Cup and Florida Landmarks geocoins, signed log.
Cone of SilenceBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
We walked down from our apartment but the GPSr wasn't picking up so we searched based on the hint and I'm pretty sure what the cache would be but we couldn't find it. We didn't spend much time looking either, as cars were coming in and out of the 24 hour Fitness parking lot at a pretty rapid pace. We'll try again soon.

Coffee Anyone #2By: Rocket Girl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Been Here: WalshBy: 50sumtin Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
6:42pm After DNFing this one, I took a look at the previous logs and had a good idea where it'd be. I was correct, although it was hidden a little differently then I thought it'd be. TNLNSL.
Baylands TeamworkBy: bytemobile Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
Back today to do a few of the stages. The last time we looked I did indeed have the cache in hand but didn't realize it. Found five of the stages today and will come back another time to finish up. Thanks for the 4+ miles of walking today! I'd rather be caching than walking on a treadmill for an hour.
West PondBy: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
6:12pm We hit this cache while doing some stages of Baylands Teamwork. Used the hint and it took a couple of minutes to find the cache. TN, left my traveling Pennsylvania and New Mexico geocoins, signed log.

Went looking for this one again but no luck once again. Will try again another day.
Five a DayBy: fulmar2 Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
6:39pm I had taken a look at this one when it was first published but didn't have a clue what to do. A month ago, I decided to look at it again and the solution popped into my head. A short while later, I had the correct coordinates but didn't venture out to the cache until today. Took about fifteen minutes, as the last part of the hint doesn't seem to apply to the hide. Luckily, I saw something and that was the cache. TNLNSL.
Marsh MilesBy: hotshoe Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
7:19pm Took a nice early evening stroll around the Baylands to find this cache. Took a couple of minutes but I made the find and TN, left my traveling Nevada and silver German geocoins, signed log.
