River here, River there

By: Mystery Ink Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

We rushed over to see if the Geocoin Fairy coin was still there but it was gone by the time we got there. No note saying who took it and nothing traded for it. [V] We did run into M & J who told us the other one at Ulistac was gone too but at least that one was traded for fairly.

Valley of the Serpent

By: Kreebelle & Kids (maintained by WalruZ) Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

5:02pm After doing some shopping at Stanford Shopping Center, we decided to do some caches on the Stanford campus. Free parking today so we could park close to all of the caches we found today. Had to outwait some muggles playing around the serpent. Saw the obvious spot and there was the cache. TN, left a Green Jeep TB, my traveling Rhodes Island geocoin, signed log. I see that 10 people are watching this cache so the Green Jeep and geocoin will probably get picked up pretty quick. [:D]

4:44pm After doing some shopping at Stanford Shopping Center, we decided to do some caches on the Stanford campus. Free parking today so we could park close to all of the caches we found today. Made the short walk over to the cache site and got close, searched an object, didn't find it, noticed our GPSr was telling us we were about 100 feet away, almost started walking away from the object. But Jenn saw another hiding spot and there was the cache. TN, left my traveling Sheridan County geocoin, signed log.

5:47pm After doing some shopping at Stanford Shopping Center, we decided to do some caches on the Stanford campus. Free parking today so we could park close to all of the caches we found today. It took a couple of minutes before I spotted the cache. The sun was shining at a certain angle, making the cache actually hard to see. But I made the grab and TN, left my traveling Orange Brontosaurus geocoin, signed log.

Somewhere in Serra Park

By: catomcat Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:48pm We decided to try this one first to get our geocaching mojo going before tackling Brink of Insanity. It took a few minutes and I remembered this spot from finding a previous cache. Jenn told me "It should be around here." pointing to a spot and I looked down and found the cache. The motogrrl geopin popped out of the cache but alas, I didn't have any trade items with me, so we TNLNSL.

Let's Go to the Movies

By: catomcat Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

6:20pm I had solved this one a while ago and DNFed it before because I was looking for the wrong sized container. This time I knew what size to look for but it still took a few minutes. I eventually saw something and the cache came popping out, scaring me a little because I thought it was some kind of animal I guess. Anyway, nice hide! TNLNSL.

Aerial Boundaries - Formerly: Jumping Poles

By: SlumDweller Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

6:31pm Well, I guess someone did move it back to its proper spot because it's now where the hint says it should be. It wasn't there the last time we searched because I definitely wouldn't have missed it. After finding the cache, Jenn took a ride on the swings. TNLNSL.

Look Out Below

By: SlumDweller Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

7:21pm Parked on the Los Altos side and walked over to the cache. A neighbor's dog barked at us along its fence while walking to the cache. In between muggles walking across the bridge, we searched up and down. Jenn eventually saw something and it was the cache. It took a team effort to get and replace the cache. TNLNSL.

The Brink of Insanity

By: The Petoskey Stones Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Add another DNF to the list. We looked for about half an hour, meeting up with Changes in Latitudes for about twenty of those. He had to leave and we searched for a few more minutes before finally giving up, as it started to become muggle central.

Somewhere with No Strings Attached

By: catomcat Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Searched for this one for a few minutes but some flying insects made us cut short our search.

Somewhere in Los Altos

By: catomcat Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

7:03pm We had been searching for about ten minutes and getting frustrated because our GPSr was telling us a certain object we should be searching. Jenn wanted to go but I said let's search for another minute or two. And a few seconds later Jenn found the cache. It looked familiar similar to another cache we had found previous in the day. [:D] TNLNSL.

Bert the Turtle

By: L-grl Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:43pm This spot looked familiar from a previous puzzle cache. We had read about the dog barking so we treaded lightly and not a peep. Easy find, although it took a couple of glances. TNLNSL.

Bus Bench Bogaloo #3

By: southbayday Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

6:43pm It was an easy find as no one was waiting for the bus. There was also what looked like a Camelbak backpack and some other stuff behind the bench but we didn't look through it. Anyway, took the Torn Mailer geocoin, left a Boys of Ladycacher geocoin, signed log.

By: O_Chemist (adopted by SGT Stitches) Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

5:56pm We parked at the VTA park and ride lot down on Tasman and made the walk down to the trail. We picked the wrong side of the trail first, so we had to double back and start again on the other side. It took a while to find, but after traversing up, I saw something and made my find. It's a pretty random spot to place a cache, how'd you find it in the first place? Anyway, TNLNSL.

7:17pm Parked nearby and made the easy grab. TN, left my traveling Luxembourg geocoin, signed log.

Meneely Bell Company

By: bullit Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen

7:05pm Instead of looking to see where our GPSr was telling us to go, we walked straight to the object and started looking. We looked for a couple of minutes before looking around for other hiding spots. We saw another one and what do you know, our GPSr told us to go straight for it. Easy find after that. TNLNSL.

Agnews Water

By: bullit Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen

6:58pm Parked close by and using the hint, walked straight up to the cache and made the grab. It was pretty deserted near this spot but we saw more cars toward the other cache in the area. TNLNSL.

No Swings?

By: Team_Unicycle Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

7:31pm Well, we were almost there "now" as we saw Kablooey driving away as we pulled up. Gave a wave, parked across the street and made our way to the cache. Easy find, not sure if it'll make it through the rainy season without getting wet inside. Anyway, TN, left my traveling Mauison Georgia geocoin, signed log.

We looked all around for this one but the dwindling light didn't help. We had left our flashlight in the car and didn't feel like walking back to get it so we gave up after searching for about fifteen minutes. Will try again when it's lighter.

By: Hynr Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

6:59pm Took a couple of minutes of driving around to find the garden but when we did, it was a quick find. Didn't see any hummingbirds but we did have to dodge a few honey bees. TNLNSL.

Drive Or Fly

By: G A-DayTrippers Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

6:36pm We parked near the range and walked over to the cache. Jenn made the quick find and we had to outwait a couple of muggles exiting and entering the range. We were wondering what the dime and penny were for but it was a very useful tool. Cool container! TNLNSL.

Road to Freedom: Part 2

By: Dirty White Boy Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

6:48pm We drove past the cache site so we had to make a quick u-turn and drive back. Found a nice parking spot nearby and walked over to the cache. After reading the plaque, we found the cache and I made the grab. TNLNSL.

Goodie Goodie Gumdrop

By: TheDeviousMaxPower Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

6:12pm We were in town for the Strawberry Festival and decided to find a few caches before heading back home. Jenn jumped out and started looking but couldn't find it. So I jumped out and found it after a minute looking. TNLNSL.

Saint Louise/Gilroy

By: #1 geobears Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

8:29pm While Jenn was shopping at Gap, I drove down to this one. It took several minutes, as my GPSr wasn't giving me a very good reading. I finally found the cache at a spot I had checked earlier but not good enough. I walked back to my car and saw two security guards standing there. I gave them a wave, they waved back, and I took off down the road. TNLNSL.
