No Right Turn

By: Lil Devil Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

5:43pm We had to make a run to Michael's at McCarthy Ranch so this one was in the area. We found the correct way to get in and when we got there I saw where it should be. It took some stretching but I managed to grab the cache. Took a geopin, left a geopin and my traveling France, Portugal, and Yorkshire geocoin, signed log. We both enjoyed this cache very much. Mahalo!

Who is..... ?

By: Nazgul Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

6:01pm I guess I'm a trrx also, as I immediately knew what to do. A few seconds later I had the answer. We were in the area this afternoon and decided to make the stop. Just a couple of dogs and their owner in the park. Jenn made the find and as we were signing, one of the dogs came over to investigate. The owner yelled for it to come back and it did. Guess I'll have to start on your other puzzle caches now. TNLNSL.

Johnny

By: Adamski Adventurers Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

6:13pm We were in the area so we decided to get this off our DNF list. It took a few minutes before Jenn found it. As we were signing a dog came close to us but the owner called it back. We TN, left my traveling Vermont and COG geocoins, signed log, and snuck out back to our car. [:D]

Too Weird, Man

By: Carl LaFong Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

3:49pm My boss took me to Weird Stuff to check out the printers he was thinking about buying. Since I was there, I might as well pick up this cache. The person I called to take my pic wasn't there so I thought I was out of luck. But near the back of the main area, there's a counter where you can test equipment to make sure it powers up/works. There's also an Internet-connected computer back there. So all I had to do was wait in camera view for about a minute, go back to the computer and print screen, open with some imaging program that was on the computer and email it to myself. Pretty crafty, huh? [:D] Anyway, my boss ended up buying three laser printers for the office, which will help me print all those tax returns A LOT faster than now. And they even threw in a container I'll use to keep my geocoins in, for free.

A dot

By: Vaudesir Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

4:45pm Parked at the park parking lot and walked down the trail to this one. Walked past the cache and then had to turn around to look for it. We were searching when Jenn let out a little scream. She had found the cache, which is very creative. TNLNSL.

Welcome to Souptown

By: Thefogheads Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:09pm Jenn made the grab while I was the lookout. One day we'll have to take VTA around town. TNLNSL.

More or less is more

By: cachecrashers Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:59pm Luckily, this creative camoed cache didn't take too long, only about 15 seconds. TNLNSL.

Happy Mothers Day!!

By: Adamski Adventurers Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

6:17pm We parked in front of a home and saw a couple of women sitting outside. We said, hope we have the correct house. A young girl came up to the driveway and we asked if this was the Adamski house and she said it was. The whole family then came out and got to watch us search, helping us so it didn't take too long. Had a nice chat afterwards, about tough caches, geocoins, unevents, etc. Nice to meet you Dave! TN, left five traveling geocoins with the cache owner, signed log.

Happy Mothers Day!!

By: Adamski Adventurers Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Note to geocoin hunters. The coins are with the cache owner so don't go looking for them. They wouldn't fit in the cache anyway. [:D]

Sequoia Sempervirus

By: Changes in Latitudes Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:26pm Parked nearby and made our way to the cache site. I saw something out of place and made the grab. Nice camo! TNLNSL.

Somewhere in San Jose

By: catomcat Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

9:00pm-ish We got a hint from the cache owner so we had an idea of what we should be looking for. We were right, although we thought it might have been bigger. Thankfully, this time it only took us about thirty seconds to find. TNLNSL.

The Brink of Insanity

By: The Petoskey Stones Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

We decided to try this one at night, hopefully giving us a different perspective. Having just seen British Invasion and Gitonyerhorse at another cache, they told us where we should be looking but we still didn't find it. Another twenty minutes or so searching but no luck. We need another hint please!

Somewhere Smiling and Hanging On

By: catomcat Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

8:09pm We had just gotten home from finding Four Shells and saw this one had come up while we were gone. So we loaded the coords and went for this one. When we got there, we saw someone searching. It was Gitonyerhorse and then we saw British Invasion, who had just found it. So we all went searching and Gitonyerhorse made the find as I provided the light. Chatted a bit, then it was off to other caches. TNLNSL.

Four Shells

By: ShootAndTag Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

7:05pm We saw this one come up less than 2 miles from home and we thought we'd have a chance for the FTF. But it seems those four red lights we had to stop for kept us from claiming the FTF. Winini was already there and we got to chat with him for a while, before catomcat showed up, then lgrl. Got some hints on other caches we had DNFed so it was still worth going for the FTF. Took CA micro coin, micro micro coin, left my traveling Colorado, Geocacher University, MOGA, and MGA geocoins, signed log.

By: Rocket Girl Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen

6:00pm It was an easy find, once we turned the GPSr on and told us where to search. =) TNLNSL.

SHOEFLY'S 4TH HOME

By: ingmccleary Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

6:26pm We searched a few spots until I saw an obvious spot and there was the cache. TN, left my traveling England and Cache Run geocoins, signed log.

A 16th century cache

By: Vaudesir Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

6:56pm Pretty easy find, especially with the hint narrowing it down. I spotted the little bugger neatly hidden. TNLNSL.

Don't Stop Here!

By: CTomGeo Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:58pm We had been up there before thinking there was a cache up there but the power lines overhead were fooling our GPSr at the time. At least we knew where to park this time. Took a few minutes to find but Jenn made the grab. I guess it was random muggles up there last night as no one signed between us and Nazgul. TNLNSL.

Cache Across America ? California

By: Mystery Ink Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

Hmm, the geocoin and TB drop didn't take. Here's try #2.

Cache Across America ? California

By: Mystery Ink Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

6:38pm We got a lot more exercise on this one that we bargained for. We walked down the wrong side of the creek, had to turn around, then walk down the correct side of the creek. We finally get there, had to outwait a couple of muggles, saw the cache, had to figure out how to get it and finally did. TN, left my traveling Scout geocoin since I thought it'd be appropriate for an America cache, a traveling motogrrl geocoin, a traveling Prague geocoin, Anpanman TB (who wants to get back to Japan), and signed log. There's also a March of the Penguins DVD in there that was dropped off today. Someone might want to go trade for it soon, so the heat from the sun doesn't warp it.

Moffett Park

By: Stacy & Jerry Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen

5:13pm It's taken me a few tries to figure out how to get to the cache area. Today, I finally made it by car and took a few minutes to look around. I finally saw the cache from a good angle and TNLNSL.

Do not fold, spindle, or mutilate

By: atc Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:25pm I figured this one out early this morning and we made the drive over to the cache site today. I should have read the warning from the last finder as I grabbed a yellow jacket nest while looking for the cache. Luckily, it was empty, although I did see another one in the other "object". Finally found the cache and TNLNSL.

They Call This Art? -

By: southbayday Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

7:02pm No one around at all today so it was a pretty easy find. There are a lot of weird things people call art around this area but to each his/her own. Anyway, took the traveling motogrrl geocoin, a Changes in Latitudes pick, left my traveling Czech Republic geocoin and a CA wooden nickel, signed log.

Don't Stop Here!

By: CTomGeo Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Was anyone looking for this cache around 9:10pm tonight. We passed by and think we saw the glow of a GPSr screen.

Nihonmachi

By: BKip Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

3:11pm With Jenn's knowledge of the Japanese language, she figured out the coordinates pretty quickly, although one of the symbols was a little different than what she remembers. She also made the find, although I had come close a couple of times. Took TB, LNSL.

...with a twist

By: rambeaux Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:22pm We pulled up and saw the ivy as well. Using the hint, Jenn saw something and said, why would that be here? Of course, it was the very clever cache. TNLNSL.

Blue Hills Memories

By: Gitonyerhorse Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:20pm This one only took about a minute to find, as I saw something and there was the cache. The old hint didn't really help and I don't understand how the new one relates to the hide either. But it's an easy enough find if you search diligently. TNLNSL.

High-Rise Neighbors

By: zapboy Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Yep, nice puzzle and so close to me but I'm going to sleep too. Why are these always published at midnight? [:D]

High-Rise Neighbors

By: zapboy Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

7:50pm I had solved this one very early this morning but sleep was more important. [:D] Made the drive over to the cache site and started searching. I missed the cache on the first sweep so we started searching other spots. I finally found the cache, which blended in very well, especially with the dwindling daylight. Thanks for the nice puzzle and the cache. TNLNSL.

HOLY

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

7:35pm #1100 I had solved this one a while ago but decided to wait till it was a little holier to grab this one. We made the trek to the holy site today and after a couple of minutes, Jenn made the holy find. Wow, that's the holiest container I've ever seen, very impressive! We opened the holy cache and looked through all the holy trinkets before selecting the traveling motogrrl geocoin to help it along its way. We left our traveling Ellis Island geocoin that wants to get to New York City. And of course, we signed the holy log. Mahalo nui loa!

Akebelons NEC Steps

By: southbayday Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

7:24pm The area was deserted today so we thought it'd be an easy find. It should have been but we went "farther" than we should. We had to walk a little from where we parked but found the cache. Took Prague geocoin, left my traveling Kinzua Area geocoin, signed log.

GeoFusion Leaves

By: ingmccleary Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

5:35pm Like Marky, we thought we'd be able to see it without moving stuff around. So we looked in a likely spot, didn't see anything, so searched other spots. I took a look at the likely spot again and finally found the cache. Took Winini's FTF token, Zapboy's sushi sig item, left Cent geopin, smashed penny, CA wooden nickel, and a Double Dragon traveling geocoin, signed log.

Limp

By: Gitonyerhorse Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:11pm This one took some time, as there were multiple spots to search. I eventually saw the cache and noticed we had searched near it but hadn't looked at it from the correct angle. TNLNSL.

Father Survivor

By: Gitonyerhorse Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:29pm As we pulled up, I had a feeling where the cache would be and being a little early for the early birds, the coast was clear. I provided cover and Jenn made the grab. TNLNSL.
