The Brink of Insanity

4:30pm We were in the area and we decided to check this one out again. The park was surprisingly empty so we weren't worried about muggles. It didn't matter because with hints from the owner, it took about two seconds to find the cache. I had looked at it before but never checked it for some reason. Nice hide, not too bad if you think about it. TNLNSL.

Bathing Beauties

1:26pm Definitely no bathing beauties here. Took a few minutes to find as it blends in well with lots of stuff in the area. TN, left Haji Bug and a geocoin, signed log.

5:52pm Last cache on our honeymoon. Took quite a while to find, until I saw a nice spot for a cache and there it was. The hint should probably be updated to include something about the hiding spot. TNLNSL.

5:31pm Made the drive up to this spot while honeymooning on the Big Island. The road was a little foggy in places but had no trouble finding the parking spot. Took a few moments to find but the coords were good so I spotted the cache. Took a token, left a CA wooden nickel, Honeymoon TB, Wright Bros TB, signed card and log.

Devil's Throat

Visiting while honeymooning on the Big Island. I had visited this spot thirteen years ago, being brought here by a UH-Hilo geologist while participating in the SPEBE program for high schoolers. Still very cool to see and it still looks as deep as it did all those years ago.

Pana'ewa Tiergarten

1:59pm Jenn stayed near the tiger because the aviary was in between us and the cache. I walked over and made the easy find. I had to keep moving because of the mosquitoes. Took USA geocoin, left a couple of TB's, signed log.

Hawaii Volcanoes N.P. - U.S. World Heritage Site

I knew that the earthcaches were having to go through some sort of recertification and I was hoping there weren't any new requirements after I had found them. Got in under the deadline for the new requirements so I only have a pic of the World Heritage site plaque and my GPSr. We visited this one while on our honeymoon. First time here for Jenn so she enjoyed it a lot.

Hawaii Volcanoes N.P. - Rain Forest & Lava Tube

Last Earthcache of the day and a cool one it was. I'd been here a few times before but it was Jenn's first time walking through the tube. Stepped in a few puddles and got dripped on but a cool experience. Didn't want to venture into the extra tube as we didn't have a flashlight.

Hawaii Volcanoes N.P. - Caldera and Crater

Found while visiting the Big Island on our honeymoon. I can remember visiting the museum a couple of times before, especially the mural of Pele. The crater was foggy when we arrived but it soon cleared.

Ohana Gathering

5:40pm We're honeymooning on the Big Island and this one was our first before we checked into our nearby hotel. Parked nearby and as Jenn acted as the lookout, I made the find. Took the CITO geocoin, LNSL. Also watched the sunset a few minutes later.

2:11pm The parking lot was almost empty, only a few muggles mingling around. Made the walk to the cache site and had to walk through some grass that's probably grown since the cache was hidden. Easy find, saw a usual hiding spot. Took TB, LNSL.

5:16pm Figured this one out while on Maui, then went to look for it today. Jenn had to wait in the car because there were too many chickens running around. Took only a few moments to find the cache. Took TB, LNSL.

Honeymoon Scrambler

5:44pm We're honeymooning on Kauai and knew we had to try this one. We had wanted to make this one our 100th puzzle find, but DNFed a more than likely missing one earlier. So this is our 99th puzzle find. It took us over 40 minutes of combined time to finally solve this one. I tried to figure out what the possible coordinates should be and eventually the squares matched. Made the walk over from the Coconut Marketplace to find this one. Took a few mi nutes before Jenn made the find. Took the Honeymoon TB for obvious reasons, LNSL.

Stars On The Water

1:28pm We're on Kauai for our honeymoon and what better way to celebrate our marriage than to go caching! We made the trek through the forest and after looking at hanapaa's log last night, we made a quick find. Took honu token, left cent pin, signed log.

1:46pm Made the short hike up the rocky road to this one. After checking out the cave, I made the trek up to the cache while Jenn waited below. Easy find, TNLNSL. Thanks for taking us to another great spot we wouldn't have found without geocaching.

Tree Tunnel

6:05pm We were headed back to our hotel after a day of caching and stopped for this one. Easy find with the hint. Took the Jeep TB, which hasn't been logged as dropped yet, LNSL.

4 The Tin Can Mailman

3:40pm We were checking out the view and checked the GPSr before driving away. What do you know, there's a cache a hundred feet away. Made the easy find, took it back to the car, then couldn't get it opened. I was trying to twist, when all I had to do was pull. Got it opened, then TNLNSL.

King Kong

Poipu Beach

6:21pm There were a couple of Hawaiian Monk Seals down at the beach, which provided a great distraction for all the nearby muggles. Easy find with the hint, took Bastet TB, LNSL.

Banana Beach

2:22pm We found the beach access, although it was different than the better one. Anyway, only one other person on the beach, walked over to the cache, took a couple of minutes to find after having a doh! moment. TNLNSL.

Baldwin Safari

Unfortunately, Maui seems to be a black hole for TB's and geocoins. The two geocoins in the cache's inventory are obviously not there and more than likely, have been stolen and will never be found or replaced. The thing to do, is for the cache owner or the geocoin owners to mark them as missing, so they don't show up in the cache inventory anymore. If they do show up again, they can be grabbed from the missing/unknown location they'll be put into, if the cache owner or geocoin owners mark them as missing.
