Sudoku Madness

By: trojan_fred Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

This cache is driving us mad! We went to look for it today as it wasn't in its correct spot the last time we searched. We searched the spot where the hint says it should be and it was nowhere to be found again. It hasn't been found in almost two months so maybe someone can check to see if its where its supposed to be? Thanks!

Hotwheels

By: Vaudesir Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

4:40pm This one took a couple of minutes to find, mainly because it blended into its surroundings really well. It was damp inside the cache and I dumped some water out. The log is dry though so TNLNSL.

Lofty Lady

By: MamaBe & CTomGeo Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

We searched for a few minutes but gave up after thinking our "physical limitations" stopped us from finding the cache. After reading the previous logs, we might have been right, but then again...anyway, if we're in the area again, we'll try to make another attempt.

Bad Luck

By: zapboy Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

1:27pm No red light for us and once we figured out we couldn't access the cache from the other side of the fence, it was a fairly quick find. Jenn made the find and we TNLNSL. We did DNF our next two cache find attempts to maybe we did have a little bad luck.

More Geobeads: Leftovers

By: workerofwood (special thanks to Zapboy) Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

Yep, I'm pretty sure the chilly weather lately caused us to not be able to access the cache. I might need to come back with a hammer or wait for warmer weather.

Hand in Hand

By: gimpel Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

4:07pm Yep, it's there although it took us a few minutes to find. And the last part of the hint can be interpreted two different ways depending on which way you're facing...so try both spots. Took TB, left my traveling Yellowstone geocoin, signed log.

Down By the River

By: cjspontiac Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

1:13pm Decided to do some caching this afternoon for the new Coin Quest game. This one fit the bill quite well. Parked at the trailhead and made the walk down. We heard some chickens but luckily they weren't nearby or Jenn would've made us turn around. Took a few minutes to figure the way to the cache but we quickly saw its hiding spot. Took Green Jeep Travel Bug, left a CITO geocoin and my traveling Holiday geocoin, signed log. CQ#4

Hiding at Hidden Lake

By: TeamSpaz Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

2:02pm This one took a while until I asked Jenn to check something and as a result, the cache was out of our reach. Luckily, we had some trekking poles in the car so we used that to retrieve it. Owner might want to check on it as the log doesn't stay in the cache as it was originally supposed to. TNLNSL. CQ#3

Starlite Horseshoes

By: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

1:37pm There were only a couple of kids playing on the playground on this nice afternoon. We walked over to the cache area and figured out where the cache should be. Yep, it was there and as Jenn signed the log, I CITO'd the immediate area. TNLNSL. CQ#5

Big Gate

By: GeoBrowns Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

2:27pm Parked nearby and walked over. Check the wrong side first before finding the cache. TN, left my traveling Colombia geocoin, signed log. That sure is a big gate! CQ#15

Discover Water

By: GeoBrowns Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

2:39pm This one took a few minutes before I started concentrating on something. This led to me seeing something out of place and finding the cache. I tried to put it back and let Jenn find it herself but she had already seen me with it. TNLNSL.

The way before the Bridges...

By: howeler Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

2:18pm We were out caching for the Coin Quest and this one was near a BM so we decided to take a look. We also discovered it suits a cache requirement for Coin Quest too. Easy find using the hint. TNLNSL. CQ#2

"Huggie Bear"

By: vcstrong (aka Strongbear) Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

1:09pm We had tried for this one a couple of nights earlier but it was getting dark and with the fog, it didn't look like a place we'd like to be. Went back this afternoon and it was much brighter and nicer. Took a few minutes to find, cute container! TN, left a few TB's and my traveling Georgia geocoin, signed log.

La Conchita Landslides

By: TerryDad2 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

We were staying in Morro Bay for a week of work/leisure and decided to make the drive down to Santa Barbara for the day. I saw this one was close by so we made the short drive to the cache spot. Being at the site brought back memories of watching the news reports of the 2005 slide. Very sad but very interesting to read and see why it happened.
