Cruising the De La Cruz

We came by today and had a look. We didn't find anything and we're pretty sure where it's supposed to be. I'm wondering if it fell off again. We looked around the grass but didn't see anything. Edit: Okay, I guess we're not tall enough to have seen it.

2:50pm I had solved this one a LONG time ago but didn't get out here until today, since our recyclables have been piling up. I cashed in our bottles and cans while Jenn found the cache. After TNLNSL, we took our $5.48 and bought a couple of Costco hot dogs and some Hostess snacks with our earnings.

3:37pm This one was an easy one using the hint and a nice spot to stop and take in the surroundings. No lunch for us here, so we hiked back up to the car and headed to McDonald's for a quick snack to carry us over until dinner.
Bob's Bench

3:10pm After getting the nearby Earthcache, we decided to carry on and find a few more in the area. We found this one fairly quickly, as the coords were spot on. I trashed out a pair of batteries, as water had gotten into the cache and they were corroding. Other than that, TNLNSL.

2:42pm We decided to take a short hike today and wanted to get this Earthcache under our belt. It was a nice short walk to the cache site, although a little steep at the end. We took in the views and the landscape for miles. Thanks for the EC!

6:16pm We don't like these residential hides so we cruised past the cache spot a couple of times to see if there were any muggles in view. Didn't see any so went for the cache. Luckily, it was in the first place I checked and we made a quick sign and replace. TNLNSL.

4:43pm This one took a while as there are a bunch of red herrings that kept us searching for a while. We then moved to other spots and eventually I spotted something in an area we had somehow missed searching. It was the nicely camoed cache. I took some alternate coords that might help someone else. 6:40pm Amazingly, there was a car in the lot with their lights on, just sitting there. So we went for another cache and came back for this one. The car was gone and we drove up and parked next to the cache spot. Found it in the first spot I checked. Took the tiny TB, LNSL.

5:48pm Parked on a nearby residential street and made the short walk to the cache. It was dark already, so we had our flashlights out. Jenn got scared by a tree branch hanging and let out a scream. Pretty funny and we found the cache soon thereafter. TNLNSL.

6:05pm The hotel sure looked empty tonight. Only a couple of cars in the parking lot. We searched for a few minutes before I remembered the alternative coords given by budd-rdc. Found the cache soon thereafter. Not sure what the hint means and we TNLNSL. I also took alternate coords and they were pretty close to budd-rdc's.
