Peninsula UnEvent EventBy: vaccine & mjp303 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
Thanks to mjp303 and vaccine for having this great event that got us out of the South Bay for the weekend. We had some great eats and some great company. We didn't win anything in the raffle but we enjoyed LeChuck as the "raffler" immensely. We also got to meet sillygirl & jrr, who I've conversed over email but never met face to face until today. Mahalo!
Movie: GeoTales, Believe it or NotBy: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
12:40pm We watched the cool movie last night and had to watch it a few times and use the hint to figure out the coords. Before the event today, we had a nice walk to the cache site and found the cache easily. TN, left my traveling Kootenay Cachers geocoin signed log.
Coastside Clifftop StrollBy: Coppernob for Mrs. and Ivor Screwloose Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
4:12pm We had to find this one today, in order to get it off our DNF list from almost two years ago. Batfish was with us today and he spotted it as we walked right past it. The last time we were here there was definitely more brush hiding the cache. TN, left my traveling Texas geocoin, signed log.
Bret and Bart's Lovin' FeelingBy: The Owl and The Pussycat Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
4:41pm After finding Coastside Clifftop Stroll, we made the half mile+ jaunt over to this one, another one we had DNFed about two years ago. Batfish once again found this one, in a place where it definitely wasn't the last time we had searched. TN, left my traveling Isle of Man geocoin, signed log.
Beyond The EndBy: TheSunnyOaks Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
12:47pm Out caching before the event and picked this one up easily. We also saw Vaudesir walking back to his car from a distance. TNLNSL.

5:35pm We met jellis50 searching for the cache and after a minute or so, Jenn and Tim (Batfish) spotted the well hidden cache. The drawings were spot on, although there's been some painting done. Took the info down for the puzzle and TNLNSL.

Somewhere Not to be ScaredBy: catomcat Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
3:54pm On the way to the cache, I was wondering if it was hidden "there". When we got to the cache site, I got preoccupied with other spots and Jenn spotted the cache first. Of course, I had to make the grab. TNLNSL.
Somewhere MetamorphicBy: catomcat Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
We spent about fifteen minutes on this one before giving up. I wish I had run my PQ today instead of before the new hint got added. Definitely would've helped. We'll be back!

Miso SoupBy: vaddynwashere Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
4:34pm Easy find with the hint. We've eaten at the Japanese restaurant nearby and although we found the food just okay (maybe it was just what we ordered), the ambiance was very nice. TNLNSL.

Dead DuckBy: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
6:25pm I had DNFed this one last June and came back today with Jenn as my reinforcement. Didn't really need it today as the weeds/brush was much lower/smaller than it was in my previous visit. Found the cache pretty quickly. TN, left my traveling Connecticut geocoin, signed log.

Rubber DuckBy: frogham Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular
7:20pm We took a nice after-work stroll down to this cache. There were lots of muggles going to the 24 Hour Fitness nearby but none where we wanted to search. It took a few glances until we saw the nicely camoed cache. Took digitalfish, left a geopin and my traveling Skirtlifter geocoin, signed log.
Sit On ItBy: Rocket Girl and DuckeyLee Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
I was sitting at home and saw the GSA had dropped a coin right across the street from where I live. So I zoomed out the door and got there within minutes. And there it was, the GSA Geocoin #42. I left a little something shiny in its place. Mahalo nui loa!

Golf Ball FarmBy: alpharomero.com Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro
4:13pm We had to bypass this one on first approach because there were some golfers at the tee. There was a new group teeing off on the way back and one of them hit a couple of balls our way but we saw them and could follow their flight about thirty feet behind us. We waited for the golfers to pass then made the grab. TNLNSL.
The Village CartBy: stbk Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Going On A Long Trip?By: airshadowshow Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
5:07pm We parked next to the wrong object first, then reversed and found the cache. I heard some voices as there were some workers leaving the nearby business, but on the other side of the bushes/trees so they didn't see me. TN, left my traveling Love Geocoin, signed log.
