Stinky Bug dropBy: bishoptakesqueen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
3:15pm We're traveling from the Bay Area to Oregon and have a bunch of our traveling geocoins to release. This one sounded like a good cache to find. This one took us a lot longer to find than it should have because the sun was shining at the precise spot to make the cache hard to see, even though it was just lying there in its hiding spot. Anyway, took the Unite TB, Ham Radio geocoin, left my traveling Dry Creek and traveling Parrolet geocoins, signed log.
A Sinking Feeling: The Suisun Marsh & the RailroadBy: Lotus72 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
1:28pm We were on our way to Oregon and decided to make a stop along the marsh. We took in the views of the California hillsides and spotted a few species of wildlife. Thanks for bringing us to a different type of Earthcache.
T.B. HOTELBy: crowshoot Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
4:44pm We made the short walk to the parking lot and after being led astray by my GPSr, Jenn made the find. The last finders were frivlas and family, cachers we know well from the Bay Area. Seems we'd been following their route. Anyway, took the Unite TB, motogrrl geocoin, left my traveling Bad Andy and British Bulldog geocoins, signed log.
Dunnigan QuadrangleBy: two bison Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
2:24pm We were on our way to Oregon from the Bay Area and needed to find a cache in Yolo County and this one fit the bill. Nice spot, with the community park/playground and the interesting/cute church across the street. TNLNSL.
A Place of RemeberanceBy: orygun & tag along Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual
8:15pm After DNFing the virtual in the same park, we thought this one would be easier. It was easier but it still took a while to find the needed info. Eight hours of driving from the Bay Area really tired us out and we didn't have our usual caching abilities. Thanks for bringing us to this cool spot!
Northbound I-5 "PIT" StopBy: Ed & Julie Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
4:03pm Another good stop to rest for a bathroom break. But we had our priorities right and went to find the cache first. Easy find and to our surprise, the last finders were fellow Bay Area'rs, frivlas, oneangrypuppy, and kids. TNLNSL.
What is an "Arbuckle" doing on I-5?By: JoRod Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
2:39pm We were on our way to Oregon from the Bay Area and decided to stop at this interesting stopping town. Easy turn off from the freeway and made the quick grab. TNLNSL.
The Spirit that Won the WestBy: ChrissySkyking + Blaze Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
5:53pm One our way from the Bay Area to Oregon and decided to stop off to grab this one, since it would add another county to our found counties list. And a cool one it was, especially what the cache was hidden on. We took our mirror but just used good old searching skills to spot the cache. TNLNSL.
California's Lucky 7s - Meet, Greet & EatBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
We're driving back home from Eureka on the 7th but maybe we'll get back in time to make a quick stop at the Coop. So which finish is the California version of the event geocoin going to be?
TwisterBy: Duckey Lee and Rocket Girl Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
4:37pm #1400 This one didn't take us ten seconds to find like shadow101 did but we'd seen similar hides so it took us about twenty seconds. [:D] Nice cache! We had to use the shoelace tying technique to replace it in between all of the afterwork cars passing by. Thanks for making this a cool 1400th find!
Coyote Creek - North McCarthy EntryBy: DavidT21 & Fisherwoman Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
5:21pm We walked down from the other trailhead and had a nice stroll. Got to the cache site and looked around for a few minutes before Jenn suggested checking a spot. I did the dirty work and made the grab. TN, left my traveling Texas Mini Geocoin, signed log.
Coyote Creek - Cottonwood EntranceBy: WalruZ Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
5:00pm We made the fast park and grab. Nice little spot for a trailhead. No one was around when we left to walk to the other cache down at the other trailhead but there were a couple of cars when we got back. TN, left a traveling Hawai`i Micro geocoin, signed log.
Puzzle Master 3000 ?By: candcfamily Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
5:07pm This was a cool puzzle. I finally figured it out after looking at it for a few days. Finally got out to the area today to make the grab. TNLNSL.
Check 'It' Out!By: candcfamilY Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
4:58pm The last time we looked for this one it was gone but we knew where the hiding spot was. So we grabbed it and punched in the coords for the new spot. I made the grab and TNLNSL. As of today, I'm up to 734 positive feedback although it should be substantially higher since I've left 1,146 feedback for others.
Julian's EndBy: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
7:10pm I figured this one out a LONG time ago but only got out to the area today. There were a couple of muggles outside of the local establishment but I used the tying my shoelace technique and Jenn provided some cover as I made the grab, sign and replace. TNLNSL.
Folie à DeuXBy: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
4:44pm After trying to figure this one out several times over the two+ years that it's been live, I finally got some help from a fellow cacher and we worked on it together. I wasn't sure of my coords until I looked at the spot on Google Earth and the spot made sense. Made the drive over today and made the short walk from where we parked. Had to look in a couple of spots until we found the cache. Took the old logsheet to return to the cache owner, LNSL.

6:26pm This one took a few minutes to find but we used teamwork to make the find. Jenn made the spot and I made the grab. TNLNSL.
JET SETBy: bobs94jeep Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
6:01pm Looked in a couple of places and thought we had found cache attachements but nope, not there and not there. Finally spotted it and said, Doh! A few planes flew over and a couple of planes took off. Very loud here! TNLNSL.
UndertowBy: Butano Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
6:48pm We parked near the Visitor Center but our GPSr said the cache was on the other side. So we parked near Panera Bread and Wing Stop and made the walk over. When we got there, the GPSr said it was on the other side. But we finally figured out where it was leading us and we spotted the cache. TN, left a Unite TB, SL.
Where They Go at NightBy: Travieso Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
5:17pm No trucks there today also, must be a busy weekend! Looked in a couple of spots before finding the cache. TNLNSL.
A rose...By: ChrissySkyking + Blaze Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
6:18pm We took the long route through the gardens from the parking lot and enjoyed the various roses. Took a few minutes until I spotted something using my mirror. Hmmm, yep, there's the cache. Took a little turtle, left a geocaching patch, signed log.
Wine CacheBy: Jdieas347 and Angel827 Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
7:02pm Parked across the street and spotted the cache while walking up to it. The magnet is no longer attached to the container and it's sort of leaning against a piece of wood someone must have placed underneath. TNLNSL.
Beneath MeBy: workerofwood Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
7:19pm As we approached the spot, who should we see but CC. He told us not to go look for the cache yet as he had it in hand. He let us sign the log first before replacing it so we didn't have to replace the log once again. After he replaced it, we had a look and made the find. TNLNSL.
SiRF-CacheBy: Peter@SiRF Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular
5:48pm Decided to try this one again today and as we pulled into the parking lot we saw a security guard walking near the cache. I know that security knows about it but I still didn't feel comfortable. After grabbing another cache and a couple of Jamba Juices, we headed back. The coast was clear and we made the grab. I can't believe we didn't see that last time, although last time, there was a stench that made us turn around quicker than we should have. No stench today and took a chip, left my traveling Sunshine Gang geocoin, signed log.
Gabrielson ParkBy: BKip Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
5:05pm This one was very cool! Lots of muggles around but we made like we belonged there and made the grab. TNLNSL.
The Pillows of Point BonitaBy: Erickson Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Not chosen
2:24pm This was our intended destination this nice summer day and we lucked out as the tunnel was open. After viewing the pillows, we were able to make the walk over the bridge to the lighthouse. Don't look down! That's what I kept telling myself as we crossed the bridge. But a very cool spot both geologically and historically.
Pt. CavalloBy: Mike, Matthew, Elizabeth and Plummen Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
1:35pm We almost parked at the wrong spot but figured out there had to be closer parking. We finally found the correct road and was able to park a short walk away. Great views from here. I think I figured out where the cache was originally placed.
Marin Headlands OneBy: SpiderTracks, FrogFace & SpiderCubs Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual
1:03pm We decided to drive up from the South Bay to do some North Bay caching. This was our first stop. The parking lot was full of cars but we lucked out and got a space on the first pass through the lot. Found the required answer and took a few photos of the Bridge from this picturesque spot.
Marin Headlands TwoBy: SpiderTracks, FrogFace & SpiderCubs Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Virtual
3:15pm We made this a longer walk than needed be, but at least we got to see both of the Construction 129 sites, including the site where the spot for the gun hasn't been filled in. Very cool! We finally made it to the spot and took in the awesome view of the SF area. Might be the nicest spot around!
Guns over the GateBy: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
3:46pm This one took a longer than one would expect for a two-star difficulty hide. But the sun was at a spot in the sky that made the cache difficult to see. We finally found it by touch. TNLNSL.
Franciscan Complex - Marin Headlands TerraneBy: cmilono Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen
6:30pm Took a while to find the entrance but when we past it, I knew that was the spot. So we did another lap around the block and parked across the street from the entrance. Very cool spot most people don't know can be found in the middle of SF. Two people in our group and another site with info about Slickenslides is: http://homepages.tesco.net/john.matthews.eurgeol/sob.htm. Mahalo for the Earthcache!
Lunch QCBy: Scorpion King Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
8:12pm After DNFing a 1/1, we had to make sure we found this one to gain back a little caching confidence. Took a few glances and Jenn missed it because of the camo and dwindling light but I made an extra sweep and found the cache. TNLNSL.
Turning TidesBy: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Either myself and Jenn are the most inept geocachers in the world or the cache is now invisible or the cache is gone because we couldn't find the darn thing.
Hanging OnBy: Rocket Girl and DuckeyLee Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro
Aargh! Another DNF for us. I don't know if it's our previous two DNF's that have us psyched out but we searched all over and still couldn't find the cache. I think the cache owner need to give us a VERY BIG hint.
XINYHBy: Rocket Girl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
5:58pm We made the quick park and grab and off to the next cache. TNLNSL.
The Man in the MiddleBy: trode Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
5:39pm I got a hint on this one a while back but couldn't figure out what to do. This cache came up in conversation the other day and I decided to try again. And what do you know, I find the info I needed and took a few minutes to figure out the coords. And when I got to the site, I knew I was in the right spot. Still took a couple of swipes to find the cache. TNLNSL.
StumpedBy: Rocket Girl and DuckeyLee Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
6:38pm This was a great cache! It took us probably twenty minutes to finally find the cache. I can't say much because it would probably spoil the cache but we can say, the cache is right there in front of your eyes and it's hard to spot. TNLNSL.
in the middle of everythingBy: howeler & Mira Jade Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
7:23pm We walked over from a DNF on Duckey and thankfully, this one was an easy find. The paint on part of the cache has already come off and might need to be touched up, maybe with a Sharpie? TNLNSL.
A True Urban GEOcache IVBy: sloigo Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
6:55pm The hint kind of made us look in the wrong place until I decided to look at something else and there was the cache. Nice! Took Unite TB, left my traveling Applewomyn Geocoin, signed log.
RustyBy: Rocket Girl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
6:45pm This one took a little neck twisting to spot the cache. TN, left my traveling Texas Micro Geocoin, signed log.
James LickBy: bullit Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
5:52pm We found the previous cache here so we knew where the cache would be but we found the plaque first. The cache was right where we thought it'd be. TNLNSL.

Baldwin SafariBy: Minnesota Dave Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
3:45pm Back home for a quick trip and decided to go find at least one cache. Took my parents along for the walk down the beach and through the trees to the cache spot. Although my GPS was telling me the cache was another 70 feet down the trail, I saw the obvious geotrail and followed it to the cache. Took the HI Micro geocoin and TB, LNSL.

Mahalo once again to WoW for a great event. Talked lots and lots to friends, old and new. Traded and gave away some coins and also discovered the Easter Geocoin Bunny had made a late Easter delivery. [:D]
