3:01pm We saw someone walking towards the cache site while we were driving past. After parking, we walked over and joined sjkel in the search. Both of our GPSrs were zeroing in the middle of the parking lot so we spread out to search. Sjkel came up with the nicely camoed cache. Didn't take or leave anything initially but after walking down to the cache near the airport, we returned to this cache and took the pathtag, left a geocaching patch and my traveling Pirate's Booty micro geocoin, signed log.

3:37pm We also parked at the trailhead at Trimble and made this nice 2.4 miles roundtrip walk down to the cache and back. Saw lots of birds, including ducks, geese, and maybe a heron? Made the easy grab and TNLNSL.

4:31pm We decided to look for this one for a fourth time and this time it was easier as we don't think the cache is where it's supposed to be hidden. This one should be checked and replaced in the correct spot. TNLNSL.

Yellowstone ParkBy: kablooey Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular
4:48pm We decided to try for this one again since we were in the area. This time, I found a nice stick to attack the juniper with. In a couple of minutes, I made the find, opening it to find the contents swimming in some water. I also found a couple of snails which I can only assume have lived their entire life in the container as the cache was last found this past September. I set them free and TNLNSL.

Redwood Preserve Too!By: alpharomero.com Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Micro
5:08pm I had found the now-archived cache here so I knew where to park and where the cache probably was hidden. The preserve was virtually empty so we could take a nice stroll to the cache site. Took a minute to find the cache, then TNLNSL. On the way out we said hello to Simba, Midnight, and "Buster".

4:52pm After reading that stbk had found the cache and replaced it, we decided to go look for it after the Wherigo Demo Session. This time, we went straight to where we looked for it before and yep, it was there. TNLNSL.
Meet & Greet Groundspeak & Garmin in the Bay AreaBy: Signal the Frog Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
We had a great time attending the event today although I wish there had been more Colorados to go around. Didn't even get to touch one of them. But it seems like a cool game. Don't have the $$$ to buy one of them so guess I'll live vicariously through others. We did have an enjoyable talking to all our caching friends, including some we haven't seen for a while. Mahalo!
Filmed on Location, Now on DVDBy: Batfish Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
5:04pm I've had this one on my to-solve list since it first came out, since it was our friend Batfish's first cache. After trying to figure it out for months, I finally got some big hints from Batfish that led me in the correct direction. Then it took me a few months more to finally figure out the coords. We were in the area today so we decided to go look for the cache. Amidst the rain, I looked in a few spots with no luck, then Jenn saw something and yep, it was the nicely camoed cache. Great job on your first cache Tim! TNLNSL.
Excuses, ExcusesBy: frivlas and oneangrypuppy Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
5:14pm We thought this one was near one of our favorite fast food joints so we parked nearby. Nope, still another couple hundred feet away. So we drove closer and managed to park right next to where our GPSr said the cache would be. Took a couple of moments to spot the nicely camoed cache. As we were waiting at the red light to turn left back towards San Tomas Expwy, I noticed a dark blue Highlander turning past us. I thought, hmm, wonder if it's the cache owners. Yep, it was them! TNLNSL.
