Dinosaur Park

By: runeshower & cyan_blue Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

5:10pm This one took a few minutes to find as we looked here and there and I finally spotted the cache, nicely blending in with its surroundings. TN, left my traveling Joshua Tree geocoin, signed log.

Jeffery the Flying Pig

By: runeshower & cyan_blue Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

4:58pm Yep, it sure was prickly but we persevered and I eventually saw the cache from the other side. TNLNSL.

Colin's 16th Birthday

By: runeshower & cyan_blue Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

5:16pm This was the easiest of the three caches in Raynor Park we found. There were muggles everywhere but not where we searched. The bushes and fence blocked us from their view. Looked in a couple of spots before I found a cache in a spot I had looked at before but it blended in well. TNLNSL.

Somewhere Along the Secret Pathway

By: catomcat Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:26pm Luckily, this was a quick one. I checked the obvious spot first, which I should have known wouldn't have been where the cache was hidden. Second spot I checked, there was the nicely hidden cache. TNLNSL.

You Can Turn That Page Now

By: eagleneb22 (with help from my2002cali) Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:41pm We knew exactly where to go as we visit this spot about two times a week. We found the previous cache here and also the previous puzzle cache located nearby. We got the coords fairly quickly, but then took a while to find the cache until we spread our search area. Saw the cache just peeking from its hiding spot. TNLNSL.

Semi-Secret Subliminally Hidden Walkway #42

By: L-grl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:21pm After a weekend up at GW6, we took in easy in the morning but decided to do some grocery shopping in the afternoon. And we thought we might as well go look for a couple of caches along the way. This one took way longer than it should as Jenn didn't check a certain spot as good as she should have. =) After about ten minutes, I double-checked the spot and there was the cache. Nice hide! TNLNSL.

Entrance to the Amazon

By: rockhounder38 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

1:55pm We met some fellow geocachers at the nearby virtual cache who told us there was a traditional cache nearby. I didn't have the cache in my GPSr and I just figured out it was because this cache was disabled until yesterday so it got filtered out of my PQ. But our new geocaching friends found it and let us sign the log. Cool hide too! TNLNSL.

Water Wheel

By: Frick and Frack Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

11:50am Before heading to Ikeda's for some snacks for our drive home after GW6, we decided to make a detour through downtown Auburn. Decided to grab a couple of caches while we were there. This cache took a couple of minutes to find as we were looking on the wrong side. Cool spot! TNLNSL.

Rattlesnake Dick's Demise

By: The Sierra Hiker Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

11:58pm Driving around downtown Auburn and decided to find a couple of caches before heading home from GW6. This one took a few minutes until I spotted something and there was the nicely hidden cache. TNLNSL and thanks for the history lesson!

Ridin ? Park

By: Hynr Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

1:55pm Yep, it's still there! Although it took us a while to find as we were interpreting the hint incorrectly. We had stopped by the nearby Ikeda's market to see if it was the same as the one in Auburn. It was and after making a couple of purchases we decided to walk over to this one. We looked in many places and after about ten minutes of searching, I finally spotted the cache. TN, left my traveling Euro, Singapore, and Geoset geocoins, signed log.

Yeah... But is it Art???

By: Uncle AL Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

12:11pm Yep, it's art! Cool spot to stop. Even met Hid Pro Quo, Orange Chickens, Zsquad, and Goshhawk at the cache site or should I say "art gallery". Got the answers, took a few pics, found the nearby traditional cache, then off to Ikeda's for some snacks for the drive home. Mahalo!

By: BootyBuddies Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

12:58pm Our first cache of the day was a fun one. We enjoyed driving around the town of Lincoln to find the answers. As we were driving around, Jenn said, "That's a lotta terra cotta!" Mahalo for the Earthcache!

By: RCGDS & NUTS Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

After a day of caching we arrived at about 6pm to find the event still going strong. We got to meet cachers we've known for years but only by email so it was nice to finally meet face-to-face. It was a fun event, can't wait till tomorrow for the BIG event! Mahalo to the organizers and volunteers!

little treasure chest

By: retiredprof Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

2:47pm We decided to try this one since it sounded like fun. Got to the first spot, searched for a few minutes, not finding anything. We were just about to give up as I decided to take one last look. I spotted something and it was the coords to the final spot. We walked over to the final spot and I made the grab. Cute container! TNLNSL.

Troop 333- Hall of Scouting

By: h_mtreasurecache Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

1:07pm Took us about ten minutes to find this one. The hint was different than the one now so we checked the obvious spots but had no luck. I finally spotted the nicely hidden cache. TNLNSL.

All bark and No Bite

By: h_mtreasurecache Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

1:18pm Yep, those landscapers across the street must have been wondering what was going on with all those people looking around. As we pulled up we saw another cacher leaving the hiding area so it was a quick find for us. TNLNSL.

Honor The Vet

By: dugout Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

3:38pm Cool spot for a cache! Luckily, it was in the first place I looked. TNLNSL.

Yuba City

By: Art Clark Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

your easy TB hotel

By: rubberpaws Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

4:57pm Yep, this one was easy to find, although it took some work to grab as I believe it was on the wrong side of the barbed wire fence. So I carefully made the grab and brought it back to the side of the fence I was on. TN, left the Jamboree TB and my traveling Mauison's Parents of SAM geocoin, signed log.

By: Rain734 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

3:29pm Grabbed this one before the event. Took a few minutes as my GPSr was taking me to an object in the hint, just not the correct one. I searched further away and found the cache. TN, left my traveling Bailey's Nippon Geocoin, signed log.

Wild About Walkways

By: L-grl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:07pm We knew where the walkway was located, as we found the previous cache hidden here. I walked down the walkway but went too far as I heard Jenn say "Found it!". Nice camo, similar to a cache that I previously had. TNLNSL.

School's Close

By: carolehu Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

5:01pm I drive past this spot a couple of times a week, but it's always during lunch so the schoolyard's full of children. On the weekend, the schoolyard was empty and we made the quick find. Hopefully the lawn doesn't get trampled too much, it's such a nice lawn! TN, left my traveling Mauison MIGO 2007 geocoin, signed log.

Levee Run 1 mile loop

By: csolsen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

6:57pm We decided on an after-work walk to this cache. We parked and had a nice walk along the trail, getting to the cache and finding it. But we didn't have a pen so we thought we could walk to the other nearby cache and use the pen from there. But we found out that it was on another level so we walked back to the car and got the pen. And then back to the cache. On the way we saw a poor handicapped squirrel hobbling along the trail. We felt bad for it so on the way out, we left some granola bar crumbs for it. Anyway, back to the cache to TNLNSL. The 1 mile loop turned into a 1.7 mile loop for us.
