2:12pm While staying with relatives in Irvine, we did a quick Christmas shopping trip and found this cache when we were done. There was water around the cache but inside was surprisingly dry although the log was just barely damp. TNLNSL.

2:47pm After getting some frozen yogurt nearby, we went looking for this cache. It took a few minutes but I finally spotted the cache. It would've been easier if I had taken my PDA along so I could have read the description of the cache. Cute container! TNLNSL.

2:19pm Quick find using the hint. The recent rains have started to rust the cache and it took a while to get the lid off. TNLNSL.

3:42pm We had driven past this spot about a week ago but there were some muggles right in front of the area we wanted to search. Today we went back, first looking on the wrong side of the fence, then trying the other side. We found the cache, but not at the height the hint refers to but a couple of feet higher. TN, left my traveling Yosemite geocoin, signed log.
Strolling in Baylands ParkBy: streetwalker1 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I looked at the coords on Google Maps (satellite) and it said the cache was off trail and in the Baylands itself. Could the coords be wrong?
Runway for GeoDogBy: MamaBe Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
We tried looking for about ten minutes and our GPSr kept us going back and forth. After looking at the satellite photo, I can see we were looking in the correct spot. We probably even saw the cache. We had to get to a doctor's appointment so we left this one for another day.

2:25pm This was a much easier find since we knew what we were looking for. We had a harder time trying to get the lid off. TN, left a few TBs and geocoins, SL.
A Bridge Too FarBy: Nazgul Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro
3:51pm I had the day off (I still had to go into the office twice though) so I made the walk out to this cache myself. Lots of birds and hunters in the distance. On my way there I discovered I had forgotten a writing instrument and was planning on marking the log with dirt. But luckily I found another cache and borrowed the pen. I've been on the other side of the fence close to the cache, on the golf course, but not for a while as my brother hasn't worked for Lockheed for a few years now. TNLNSL.
In The Footsteps Of VenonaBy: xmts Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
Okay, so I don't follow the Venona activities since it all seems so way over my head. I even filter out anything with the word Venona on my GBA forum feeder. But I thought I'd be able to brute force this one and I was right. It's a good thing I found this as I was on my way to another cache and I'd forgotten a pen. So I borrowed a pen, used it to sign the other log, then returned it. Took a Bulldog geocoin, left a Generic Micro geocoin, signed log.
