Tales of Odysseus: Helios, Bringer of the SunBy: 50sumtin Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
2:39pm Our second Odysseus cache of the day. I went to look for the cache while Jenn admired the view of the beach. We followed the coast trail to the cache, then cut back through the brussel sprout field on the way back to the railroad track, then back to the car. TN, left a couple of TB's and my traveling Packman geocoin, signed log.
Secret Trail Head: Four Mile Beach (Revisited)By: 50sumtin Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
5:06pm Our last cache of the day and it took us a few moments to find as we enjoyed many miles of hiking along the coast doing the Odysseus series. I finally spotted the cache, TNLNSL, then headed for home.
Tales of Odysseus: The Return of the KingBy: 50sumtin Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
4:42pm This series took us a few trips to the coast but we enjoyed every moment of it. After finding the first few in the series, we had the numbers but we realized we hadn't written down the corresponding letters. Luckily, we used some logic and came up with some good coords. Jenn made the find and I made the grab. Took great memories, left some footprints of our journey, signed log. Thanks Bud!
Tales of Odysseus: The Suitors and Penelope's TestBy: 50sumtin Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
4:03pm We enjoyed the nice walk along the beach, then along the pond, then along the cliff to the cache. Took us a while to find the cache as it blended in really well with its surroundings. TN, left my traveling GW4 and Snow Wolf geocoins, signed log.
Tales of Odysseus: The SirensBy: 50sumtin Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
1:27pm Since it was a very nice Saturday, we headed to the coast, wanting to finish the Tales of Odysseus series. This was our first visit of the day and we found it within a few minutes. Back at the parking lot, we met a bunch of cachers and pointed them in the correct direction. TN, left my traveling Feng Shui geocoin, signed log.
West Side SerenadeBy: Iron Chef Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
4:23pm After finding the nearby Odysseus cache, we decided to walk a little more and find this one. It took a while as there were overgrown plants everywhere. But if we had just looked in a different direction that we had been concentrating on, we would've found the cache quicker. There was moisture in the cache but the logbook was fine. TNLNSL.
CashewsBy: Tonton-Ca (adopted by OneAngryPuppy) Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
5:06pm I agree with everyone else, very bold, hope it lasts! I was going to leave a couple of TBs in it but my inner instinct told me that I shouldn't, just in case it does get muggled before someone has the chance to move the TBs along. TNLNSL.
MotherlodeBy: Jesse and Lizzy Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
5:17pm We've been to the nearby park for a few events so we knew the area well. Found the cache easily and TN, left my traveling Fraher and Holiday Nickel geocoins, signed log.
Yet Another Lamp Post CacheBy: xmts Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen
4:26pm We wanted to get out of the house and do a few caches after being sick the past couple of weeks. The weather was quite nice, in fact maybe a little warm. When we got to the cache site we thought it might take a while to find. But using the hint, it only took a few seconds to find the nicely constructed hide. Definitely should be on a few favorites lists. TN, left my traveling Slovakia geocoin, signed log.
Strolling in Baylands ParkBy: streetwalker1 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
4:48pm We tried to find this one last weekend but there were muggles right where we wanted to look. Today, we went back and saw there was a muggle in the same spot. But he got up and started walking toward us. As we passed each other, I noticed he had a GPSr in his hand and when we found the cache, we saw other cachers had been here today. TNLNSL.
Bang BangBy: CKayaks Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
5:30pm We could hear the bang bangs as we approached the cache. Our GPRs led us astray so we made a guess where the cache would be and we made the find. TNLNSL.
fair or foulBy: TJDavis Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
5:42pm The park was empty so we could search without being bothered. We looked in a few spots before I spotted the cache. If it was ten minutes later, it would've been harder to spot. If I recall, I believe it was fair. TNLNSL.
Remote LocationsBy: ccandfamily Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
6:05pm When this cache first came out, I took a look at it since it's so close to home. Couldn't figure it out but eventually took another look at it. Still couldn't figure it out. But tried yet again and the lightbulb went off. Finally got over to search for it today. Very cool container, first of its kind! TNLNSL.
