Skin Deep

By: streetwalker1 and Deathbysnoosnoo Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

4:26pm We parked nearby and checked out a few spots before Jenn spotted the cache. Took a couple of photos of Skin Deep (too bad it looks like it's about to crumble), LNSL.

Recycle!

By: tonton-ca (adopted by OneAngryPuppy) Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Large

4:16pm We finally decided to stop watching the NCAA basketball tourney and do some caching. It was quite windy and a bit chilly this afternoon. We parked down the street for this one and used the hint to find the cache, although I needed help from Jenn. TN, left "Squitty" TB, my traveling Reduce, Reuse and Recycle geocoin (how appropriate) and Flip Flop geocoin, signed log.

Lower Penitencia Creek Lagoon

By: Wood_Rat Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

5:35pm We parked near one of the entrances and walked over to the cache. Saw a hummingbird along the way and watched it fly from flower to flower before searching for the cache. Jenn made the find and I made the grab. TNLNSL. There were only a few ducks in the pond near the cache but while walking back to the car, we saw many more in the other pond.

A Sign of the Past

By: The North Star Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:42pm We had tried to get to this cache a couple of weeks ago but couldn't find the right way to get there. Google Maps to the rescue and in satellite view we saw that we had already been to that spot for a previous cache. So today we made our way out to the cache and I found the cache in a minute or so. Took us longer to figure out how to get to the logsheet! TNLNSL.

Another Landing

By: DavidT21 & Fisherwoman Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

6:12pm Last cache of the day since it was getting a little too cold for us. Should have read the description a couple of times as it would have saved us some time since I kept searching in the foliage. I finally read it again and soon thereafter made the grab. TNLNSL.

SF Chronicle - South Bay

By: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:56pm I think I solved this one years ago but we finally made it out to the area to search for the cache today. Took a few moments until I finally grabbed the cache without seeing it. TNLNSL.

Discover Water: Mitchell Park

By: Wildbun Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

5:54pm This one took a while to find, as I knew where to search but couldn't spot anything. The ducks flying around didn't help but eventually Jenn told me to look somewhere and when I did, I spotted the cache. TN, left my traveling JungleGarmin geocoin, signed log.

Bird's Eye View

By: jasmerb Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:34pm I solved this one a while back as I had used the tool in this manner previously, not sure for what though. Today we first started on the wrong side of the creek, so we drove to the correct side and it was a quick find using the hint. TNLNSL.

Northern Passage From Middlefield

By: Runnerinwoods Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

4:53pm I should have just walked up and grabbed what I thought looked promising but instead, I let my GPSr guide me about forty feet past the cache, then back. Made the grab, cool camo, TNLNSL.

Wickedly Retired

By: Runnerinwoods Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:59pm Walked across the street from where we parked and walked a little too far before Jenn pointed out where I should look. Walked over and spotted the in-theme cache. TNLNSL.

H0H0H0

By: Wildbun Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:15pm We've been to this spot for a previous cache so it was a quick find. A little chilly as the breeze was coming off of the bay. TNLNSL.

Nano from GeoWoodstock VI

By: GoGoJo Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:31pm This one took a few minutes of walking back and forth until Jenn spotted the nicely hidden cache. She sure is the great nano finder! TNLNSL.

Ghost Railway of Palo Alto

By: PurplePeople Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

6:07pm I figured out this one a while ago but didn't stop to look until today. Jenn provided the cover and I made the grab. Interesting history about the railroad, thanks for the info! TNLNSL.

Three Four One With Nine

By: cachbefound Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I had solved this puzzle when it first came out (using the third puzzle) of course) but hadn't noticed that it'd been changed since then. Searched where the cache was before but didn't find it. Should've just searched around a bit more. Did see the cat colony nearby including one kitty guard watching us closely.

Don Edwards ? Oasis in Silicon

By: Albatrozz Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

4:28pm This one tested by powers of observation, first finding the numbers for ABCD, then finding the way to the cache. Stamped the logbook with my koi stamp and stamped my logbook with the cache stamp. TNLNSL.

I Love Trees

By: Hedwig the Owl Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

5:49pm We got confused a few times and had to backtrack but we eventually found the correct tree and made the quick grab between muggles walking back to their cars. Stamped my logbook with my koi stamp. TNLNSL.

Control Freak

By: Spinneyman Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:24pm We drove around a few of the parking lots before figuring out which one we really needed to park in. Made the quick find, cool camo! TNLNSL.

I Knew I Should Have Taken the Earlier Train!

By: Spinneyman Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

5:33pm Cool spot for a cache and cool camo, Jenn made the find. Wonder if the crossing posts will ever be removed or left for posterity. TNLNSL.

Wild Corner

By: Baron88 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

4:45pm No one around on a Sunday afternoon except us and a black cat across the "stream". Quick find, TN, left my traveling Joe6Pack and The Proffens geocoins, signed log.

Lunch Around the Corner

By: Baron88 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:53pm We drove past this one first, then turned around, parked near the mart, then walked over and made the quick find. TNLNSL.

Tea for Four

By: payakoi Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:58pm This took a few minutes before we spread out and searched other spots before I made the grab. Never been to this strip mall before. TNLNSL.
