Spring FunBy: nielsenc, hjnielsen and sbd Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
Thanks for the fun event! Got to talk to a lot of geocacher, new and old and lots of good snacks too. Glad everyone liked the chocolate chip toffee bars! Didn't want to take them home and eat them all ourselves.

4:42pm We parked in a nearby lot and walked over to the cache. Using the hint, it was a quick find. TNLNSL.
End of the LineBy: xmts Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
7:38pm I figured this one out shortly after it was published but didn't go for the FTF since I figured someone would've grabbed it before I was done with work that day. After looking at the log, it looks like I might have had a good chance for the FTF. Anyway, after circling the block a couple of times, we found a good parking spot and made our way to the cache. Looked for a few minutes before Jenn said, shouldn't it be there. And yep, it was there! Took the Bavaria geocoin, LNSL.
Three Four One With NineBy: cachbefound Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
6:20pm Back to find this one as we figured out the new coords. It did take a while to find though. We knew we were searching the correct spot but just couldn't find the cache. Finally spotted the unique cache and made the grab. TNLNSL.
Here's the mission (library)By: Georgeasaurus Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
6:58pm We've been to this spot before for previous caches. The library was closed by the time we got there and there were only a couple of muggles as a nearby table. Jenn kept an eye on them and I made the grab. TNLNSL.
dont forget to log this oneBy: RED OCT & TJDavis Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen
6:41pm I thought I had spotted the cache and said Found It! but discovered it wasn't the cache after I grabbed it. Shortly thereafter, Jenn made the find of the cool cache. TNLNSL.
The Peace BranchBy: TJDavis % REDOCT Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
6:50pm Parked across the street and actually walked in the wrong direction before turning around to go to the correct spot. Made a quick find of the nicely hidden cache. TNLNSL.
between life and deathBy: TJDavis Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
7:09pm The cemetery was closed when we got there so we took a peek through the gates before (and after) looking for the cache. Jenn figured out the hint and also made the find. TNLNSL.
NanoFeral #1By: FeralWriter Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Other
5:35pm This one took a few moments to find but we managed to find the hidden cache. Like others have said, the log is in bad shape. It's no longer wet, but now it's falling apart and disinegrating. Needs to be replaced ASAP. TNLNSL.
Beyond the BridgeBy: BeatleJay Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
5:21pm As we walked over to this cache, our GPSr kept on losing its signal for some reason. So we searched a few spots before finally spotting the cache. Jenn made the grab and after we TNLNSL, we tried to place it back in its correct hiding spot but couldn't quite get it to where we originally found it, although it is secure. The cache owner might want to check on it. TNLNSL.
See Sign?By: Sgt Stitches Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
5:05pm Since I solved this one (with help) so long ago, I don't think I could solve it if I tried today! Was in the area today, parked a ways away and walked over to the cache. We could see the cache sticking out from its hiding spot just barely so it was an easy find. TNLNSL.

We haven't been to an event in a while so we'll be there!

1:18pm After checking out of our hotel and visiting DLR for an hour or so, we decided to find this cache before heading home. When we go there we saw everyone lining up for the tour but since we still had a seven hour drive home, we had to pass. We took in a bit of the buildings, got the answers needed, then off to the Bay Area.
Old Potato HouseBy: Maddmaxxawr Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
3:10pm We detoured one the way to Disneyland to pick up a cache in SB County. This ended up being the first and only cache in SB County we found. The coords were very good, as they led us right to the cache. Quick find, then back to the car. After we just started the engine, one of Upland's finest pulled up next to us and asked if we had just called 911. We said no, explained that we were geocaching and told him a little about it. He seemed satisfied with our explanation and took off in search of the 911 caller. TNLNSL.

5:30pm Out for a quick Easter afternoon stroll. Took a few minutes to find even though it was right there under our noses. TN, left my traveling Moun10Like and K9 Cacher geocoins, signed log.
Blue SchistBy: TeamNulti2003 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Not chosen
4:15pm #2000!!! We finally hit our two thousandth cache, the last hundred taking a long time, over six months I think. Like the last EC, we thought we were looking for something larger but I remember looking at the photos of this cache so were able to find the Blue Schist. TFTEC and our 2000th cache!!!
Radiolarian Chert Folds - ChevronsBy: TeamNulti2003 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Not chosen
4:33pm This was another cool EC of Mt. Diablo. We enjoyed looking at the different layers and directions the layers were going. It was amazing that we were the first people to touch parts of the chert folds since it was formed, 145+ million years ago! TFTEC!
Pillow BasaltBy: TeamNulti2003 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen
4:55pm We enjoyed a nice Subway lunch here earlier, but decided to find this one on the way back down, since we wanted to get to the Summit Visitor Center before they closed at 4pm. This is the second pillow basalt EC, I've found, the other near Point Bonita. I also found a Pillow Lava EC near Pismo Beach. TFTEC!
Turritella Snail BedBy: TeamNulti2003 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Not chosen
2:23pm We thought we were looking for something much larger so after reading the info sign, we kept walking down the path. But not seeing anything we turned around and headed back to the sign, where we found our target object. It's amazing that these snails have ended up so high up. Amazing geology! TFTEC!
Wind CavesBy: TeamNulti2003 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Not chosen
1:46pm We finally got over to Mt. Diablo after living in the Bay Area for over five years now. The Earthcaches in the area were our target caches and this EC was our first. We lucked out with parking as it was very busy here, probably the busiest of all the locations we went to, except for the summit of course. We resisted climbing all over the rocks and took in the views and geology of the area instead. TFTEC!
