Thirteen Tiered PagodaBy: The Wizzzard Rincewind and Twoflower Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
9:00am After having a nice breakfast at Like Like Drive Inn, we walked over to this nice garaden. I hadn't been here in years and like the koi ponds and waterfall. Our GPSr wasn't picking up so we used to hint to find the general area. It took about a minute or so before Jenn spotted the nicely camoed cache. Thanks for bringing us to this nice spot in the middle of the concrete jungle. TNLNSL.
Sugar Cane TrainBy: HawaiianHairball Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
12:31pm We were on the West Side to drop my parents off at the Lanai Ferry pier so we decided to go to the beach and find a couple of cache. On the way to the beach, we stopped at the wrong station (without using our GPSr for directions) and instead of turning around, we headed off to Honokowai to do some snorkeling and grab some lunch. On the way back, we found our way to the correct station and not a muggle in sight. Easy find, TNLNSL.
Kihei CacheBy: mauigirls4h Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
We were at Kamaole 3 and we walked over to this cache to check on it since there was a DNF. I can confirm that it is NOT where we found it. We looked in various other spots and didn't find it anywhere else.
Ho'okipa IkiBy: sillygirl & jrr Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
1:35pm Decided to head out towards Haiku on a nice sunny, but windy day. We stopped at the Ho`okipa overlook to check out the surfers first. There were some nice but not overly big waves and the surfers were having a good time. Even saw two divers but I don't think they caught much. After watching the surfers for a bit, we headed towards the cache. As we got to the site, we started looking and in a few seconds, Jenn had found the cache. She even found a dollar on the way back to our car so her hot dog at Fukushima Store only cost 20 cents! Thanks for the cache and the cheap hot dog! TNLNSL.
Kihei CacheBy: mauigirls4h Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
3:57pm After doing some shopping at the Wailea Shopping Center, we decided to grab this cache on the way back into town. Just before we got out of the car, my mom called while geocaching in Alaska! After talking to her for a bit, we started towards the cache. At least we thought we did. We went to the wrong start of the trail, then had to backtrack to find the correct spot. Easy find and nice views of the ocean along the trail. TNLNSL.

1:50pm Made the long drive up to Polipoli today with my parents who were searching for their first "official" traditional cache. I knew where the cache was but let them find it, although it took a while. =) The drive from the Lavender Farm to the parking lot took about 40-45 minutes in our 4WD Highlander, which I'm glad we had. Wouldn't want to do that road in our Prius! TNLNSL.

The MapBy: Shaka Bra Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
11:30am Stopped here on the way to the 10 Years! event down the road. Not many muggles were around, which is surprising because there's usually lots of them here. Maybe it was too early? Anyway, circled around a bit till our GPSr pointed us to the correct spot. TNLNSL.
Sticky Stash!By: Northern Gecko Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
2pmish It was a nice day so we headed down to Ma`alaea again, this time with the correct coords. We took the nice walk down the beach and it only took a minute or so to spot the cache. And yep, no need to bushwhack at all if you come at it from the correct angle. TNLNSL, then back down the beach, fishing here and there. Jenn even caught a lizard fish!
Sticky Stash!By: Northern Gecko Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
We spent about twenty minutes looking for this before giving up. I now know why we didn't find it. We have the old coords and old hint in my GPSr. Doh! Oh well, we'll be back since we like walking up and down the beach there.
Dislocation PointBy: maui & mountainlife Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small
1:20pm My dad needed to drop something off at the Lanai Ferry, so I drove him over and on the way back we stopped for this cache. The only muggles we see here are usually fisherman, but no one was around today. Too early for fishing I guess. It was an easy walk to the cache, although we had to dodge some glass here and there. Took a few looks to spot the cache. Took a geocoin that doesn't look like it's been logged as dropped yet, LNSL. Mahalo for the cache!
Keka'a Landing PierBy: HawaiianHairball Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
There's public parking under the Sheraton parking structure. But if you don't get there early, all the spaces are usually taken by beach-goers. Not sure where the next closest FREE parking spots are.

5:35pm We go walking at Keopuolani Park almost every day and so today, we decided to go off our usual path and make the short walk to the cache site. We didn't have our GPSr but I had looked at Google Maps when the cache first came out. I also remembered the hint and when I told Jenn the hint, she knew where to search. We searched a couple of spots before I made the find. We also wrote the wrong date on the logbook 3/29, oops! TNLNSL.

1:45pm FTF!!! I didn't check my email till about noon today and saw this one had been published. Thought I might have a good chance at FTF since it wasn't in Lahaina or Kihei. Took my dad along so we could check out the Sugar Cane Museum (the outside exhibits at least) and then go to the Maui Friends of the Library afterwards. There were a couple of muggles walking around but none near the cache site. Told my dad where to search and we started looking. Took only a few seconds to make the find. TN, left something for the STF, SL. Mahalo for my first FTF since December of 2005.
Rocks and RollerBy: House of Fun Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small
5:17pm We zoomed past this one on the way to Kaupo, so we stopped on the way back to Pukalani. We drove up to the cache because we had our 4WD Highlander today, instead of our usual geocar, a Prius. Jenn spotted the cache and I made the grab. Took a lollipop to CITO, left something shiny, signed log. Also, there are thorny plants along the geopath and barbed wire right near the cache so be careful!
Big Island LookoutBy: maui & mountainlife Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
3:18pm Out for a few caches out towards Kaupo today. Couldn't see the Big Island as there were too many clouds. Pretty windy though! We followed a wrong path before finding the correct one. Easy find, took Lucky Cat, left something shiny, signed log.
Look Out Below!By: House of Fun Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
5:06pm We bypassed this cache on the way towards Kaupo, as there was a tour shuttle that had just parked and everyone was getting out to go look a the view. On the way back, the coast was clear. We made our way up the hill and Jenn made the find. Took a golf ball, left a No Snowmobile geocoin, signed log.
Firecracker BeachBy: EkahiBoy Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small
4:05pm We first ended up searching areas that now that I think about it, would definitely be higher than the terrain rating of this cache. We decided to try another way to the cache and Jenn spotted it. Took in the views of the arch, left something shiny, signed log.
Beer, Ice-cream or CandyBy: happymaui Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular
4:35pm I should have read the description a lot better as it would've been an easier find. But I didn't, so we searched for about five minutes before Jenn decided to read the description all the way through and the cache was soon found thereafter. Lots of garden spiders around the cache but they don't bite. At least I don't think they do. When I was younger, I used to pull them off their webs and let them crawl on my arm. Heh, heh. TN, left a geopin, signed log.
