World Golf Tour

By: Rogue Ramblers Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

7:01pm After enjoying a lobster roll and clam chowder at Old Port Lobster Shack, we decided to find a few more caches. I had figured this one out soon after it had been published and had passed the cache site a few times but never stopped. Tonight was finally time to find the cache and I knew where it was immediately after pulling up to the coords. TNLNSL and thanks for the round!

Appreciation of OSPs

By: ed777 Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

2:35pm I figured this one out quite a while ago but didn't get to the area until today. It was windy walking down to the cache and that made it very chilly. But once we got out of the breeze, it was warm which made the walk nice. Found the cache easily and TNLNSL.

The Dead

By: bthomas Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

4:14pm I figured out the coords from home and found a cool website I never knew about. In the area today and we parked pretty close to the cache. Jenn knew where the cache would be and she was correct. TNLNSL.

Filmed on Location, Now on DVD

By: Batfish Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

5:04pm I've had this one on my to-solve list since it first came out, since it was our friend Batfish's first cache. After trying to figure it out for months, I finally got some big hints from Batfish that led me in the correct direction. Then it took me a few months more to finally figure out the coords. We were in the area today so we decided to go look for the cache. Amidst the rain, I looked in a few spots with no luck, then Jenn saw something and yep, it was the nicely camoed cache. Great job on your first cache Tim! TNLNSL.

View From The Office Too

By: Vaudesir Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

3:13pm Back again today as I figured out my mistake last time. This time, we were on one side of the fence, didn't find anything except a garbage bag full of something (didn't get too close to take a better look). So we went to the parking lot side and looked from that angle. Jenn spotted the cache quickly and I used some finger dexterity to bring the cache over the fence. TNLNSL, then back over to the other side of the fence went the cache.

POP #9

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

2:40pm Yipee!!! Our last WeBeDnD puzzle that we've solved and found. I definitely needed help on this one though and I got it from a fellow cacher. Got the coords and we were in the area today so we went for a look. There were a few muggles about but none near where we needed to search. Jenn had the better caching eye today and spotted the cache. TNLNSL. Mahalo for all the puzzles Daryl!

Cigars (Ca.)

By: rscout79 Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

4:19pm We were in the area so tried this one again. As we walked toward the cache site, I realized I hadn't entered the corrected coordinates into my GPSr. Luckily, I remembered the correct answer to the puzzle and put it into my GPSr. The GPSr then led us to where we had just looked. Looked at the puzzle again and realized I couldn't add. New coords into the GPSr and it was a quick find after that. TNLNSL.

Screwed Up

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 4.5 Container: Large

2:01pm When this puzzle first came out, I solved it right away. But we didn't feel like finding it until today. We had to park a few miles away but luckily we were able to hitchhike to the cache site. We spent a few hours looking for it, even though it was snowing. I eventually found it, taking everything in it, leaving nothing, and we even forgot to sign the log.

Premier Princesses

By: 2js2rs Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

12:16pm The puzzle was a bit difficult, as I didn't know the answers off hand, so I had to resort to Google. A couple of answers I just guessed and when I plugged the coords I got into Google Maps, it looked like the correct spot. We were passing by today so we went for a look. Parked on the nearby gravel area, then started to search. Jenn made the find and I made the grab. TNLNSL.

Horses in Ortega

By: E.caballus Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

2:00pm We eat lunch here a couple of times a month and finally went out to look for this one. It took a while until Jenn finally spotted it. TNLNSL.

POP #7

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

1:38pm Yep, screwed up on the coords. Got the corrected ones and stopped to search while in the area. Found it right where I thought it'd be. Thanks for the POP cache! Now to figure out the last POP I haven't figured out, #9. Mahalo!

POP #7

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

We searched for a few minutes but didn't come up with anything. Will doublecheck my coords and try again. Happy Thanksgiving!

POP #8

By: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

4:42pm I had a hard time figuring out what to do with this one so another cacher gave me some help. I figured out the coords and we decided to do a little pre-Thanksgiving dinner today. The area was deserted and it was an easy find. TNLNSL.

Castle Man's Mystery Of Morro Bay

By: Castle Man Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

12:53pm I had solved this one before my last trip to Morro Bay but didn't have the time to go search for this one. Our last day in the area so we had to go search for it. Nice path to guide us to the cache, with some poison oak dodging but not too bad. We found the cache, TNLNSL, and watched the surfers doing their thing for a few minutes.

Can you resist her?

By: Geo_cats Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

12:48pm I had solved this one before my last trip to Morro Bay but didn't have a chance to look for it. Back in town this week so off we went to look for it. Great views from the walk to the cache. Made the find and took a ladybug, left digitalfish #7099, signed log. Loved the container!!!

Cigars (Ca.)

By: rscout79 Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

We decided to walk around the Stanford campus and find some caches. Unfortunately, we went 0 for 3, this being the first one we looked for. After about fifteen minutes of searching, I thought I had found the cache but no cigar, it was just a red herring. I guess we aren't smarter than a fifth grader! We still had a nice time walking around the campus.

View From The Office Too

By: Vaudesir Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

We tried for this one today but didn't find anything. I think I confirmed my coords with vaudesir but maybe I didn't. I just checked and I did confirm my coords but for some reason, the coords in my GPSr are the coords without subtracting for the latitude and adding for the longitude.

Just made the correction so we'll be back to search for this one. Doh!

Audio Cache

By: dsweet0627 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

4:20pm This was a very cool cache! I had to listen to the message twice to make sure I heard it correctly, then let Jenn listen to it as well. Took a few moments to finally spot the cache. TN, left my traveling Alabama 2007 Geocoin, digitalfish #7084, signed log.

The Ear Infection

By: Sgt Stitches Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

6:33pm I used a program a while ago to solve this one but didn't get out to the spot until today. No one around and with the hint, it was a quick grab. It took longer to open the rusted cache but I finally managed. TNLNSL.
