Jacob's Super Penguin CacheBy: delija+ma Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
10:23am When we were younger, this was our favorite hotel to visit. We used to eat Sunday brunch at Swan Court or have lunch at one of the other restaurants on property. And of course, we always visited the penguins. We haven't been back to the Hyatt for a while so we noticed a few changes, one of them being a taller stone wall around the penguin habitat. We watched the penguins for a bit, got the numbers we needed, then took a quick walk around the property to see the sights. We eventually got to the cache site and it took a while, as our GPSr guided us here and there. I eventually found the cache and took the Sea Shepherd geocoin, LNSL. Mahalo!
Paniolo Town Reading SpotBy: syamato Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other
2:50pm In the area and decided to stop by to try this cache. Didn't have the info in my PDA but I remembered enough of the hint to find what I needed. We searched one spot first, didn't have much luck, thought something might be missing. So asked for Carla who wasn't there. The librarian that was there kept telling us that we needed to find it. She didn't seem to understand what we were trying to tell her but eventually she understood and pointed us somewhere else. We then made the find, cool cache! TNLNSL.

3:20pm I figured this one out a week ago but when we went to look for the cache, I discovered I hadn't entered the coords into my GPSr. Put them in today since we were heading down to Kihei for a couple of hours. When we got there, we searched many spots and after about ten minutes, I finally spotted the cache. Took Dr. Duck, left something shiny, signed log.
Sudoku MadnessBy: trojan_fred Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
7:44pm Aahhh, we're so glad to get this one off of our DNF list. We had tried searching twice previously and also another drive-by but there were muggles parked right next to the cache spot. Today, the cache was right where it was supposed to be so it was an easy find. Took a traveling geocoin, LNSL.
End of the LineBy: xmts Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
7:38pm I figured this one out shortly after it was published but didn't go for the FTF since I figured someone would've grabbed it before I was done with work that day. After looking at the log, it looks like I might have had a good chance for the FTF. Anyway, after circling the block a couple of times, we found a good parking spot and made our way to the cache. Looked for a few minutes before Jenn said, shouldn't it be there. And yep, it was there! Took the Bavaria geocoin, LNSL.
Three Four One With NineBy: cachbefound Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
6:20pm Back to find this one as we figured out the new coords. It did take a while to find though. We knew we were searching the correct spot but just couldn't find the cache. Finally spotted the unique cache and made the grab. TNLNSL.
See Sign?By: Sgt Stitches Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
5:05pm Since I solved this one (with help) so long ago, I don't think I could solve it if I tried today! Was in the area today, parked a ways away and walked over to the cache. We could see the cache sticking out from its hiding spot just barely so it was an easy find. TNLNSL.
SF Chronicle - South BayBy: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
5:56pm I think I solved this one years ago but we finally made it out to the area to search for the cache today. Took a few moments until I finally grabbed the cache without seeing it. TNLNSL.
Bird's Eye ViewBy: jasmerb Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
4:34pm I solved this one a while back as I had used the tool in this manner previously, not sure for what though. Today we first started on the wrong side of the creek, so we drove to the correct side and it was a quick find using the hint. TNLNSL.
Ghost Railway of Palo AltoBy: PurplePeople Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
6:07pm I figured out this one a while ago but didn't stop to look until today. Jenn provided the cover and I made the grab. Interesting history about the railroad, thanks for the info! TNLNSL.
Three Four One With NineBy: cachbefound Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I had solved this puzzle when it first came out (using the third puzzle) of course) but hadn't noticed that it'd been changed since then. Searched where the cache was before but didn't find it. Should've just searched around a bit more. Did see the cat colony nearby including one kitty guard watching us closely.
She Loves Me, She Loves Me NotBy: HitsMan and Boulter Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
5:51pm I had looked at this one a few times and sort of figured out what the fuzzy math referred to. But I couldn't quite connect the dots until I got hint from a previous finder. Today we decided to stop for a search and found the cache after missing it the first time we searched the spot. TNLNSL.
Legend of the Blue PearlsBy: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
4:36pm We started this series almost two years ago and finally decided to finish it once and for all. But one of the caches was disabled but fortunately we were able to figure out the coords for this one, not to mention a help from the cache owner, thanks! It was sunny but a light breeze made our ears very cold walking to the cache. Took a few moments to spot the nicely camoed cache. TN, left a bunch of stuff, including my travelingTriple Wisdom and Haughton Hunters geocoins, signed log. Thanks for the fun series, will be back to find the (now not-disabled) cache.
Tales of Odysseus: The Return of the KingBy: 50sumtin Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
4:42pm This series took us a few trips to the coast but we enjoyed every moment of it. After finding the first few in the series, we had the numbers but we realized we hadn't written down the corresponding letters. Luckily, we used some logic and came up with some good coords. Jenn made the find and I made the grab. Took great memories, left some footprints of our journey, signed log. Thanks Bud!

6:05pm When this cache first came out, I took a look at it since it's so close to home. Couldn't figure it out but eventually took another look at it. Still couldn't figure it out. But tried yet again and the lightbulb went off. Finally got over to search for it today. Very cool container, first of its kind! TNLNSL.
In The Footsteps Of VenonaBy: xmts Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
Okay, so I don't follow the Venona activities since it all seems so way over my head. I even filter out anything with the word Venona on my GBA forum feeder. But I thought I'd be able to brute force this one and I was right. It's a good thing I found this as I was on my way to another cache and I'd forgotten a pen. So I borrowed a pen, used it to sign the other log, then returned it. Took a Bulldog geocoin, left a Generic Micro geocoin, signed log.
Where It EndsBy: boulter Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
3:37pm I had solved this one many moons ago and had driven past the spot surveying where the cache might be. Today we parked about half a mile away, walked over to the cache and as I was about to grab the cache, Jenn said she didn't have a pen. So we did a couple of other caches first, then grabbed then pen, then back to this cache. I made the grab and opened it and what do you know, there was a pencil in the cache! Signed the log, then attempted to replace it several times but the magnet wasn't sticking. I finally got it wedged in, hopefully it stays. TNLNSL.
World Golf TourBy: Rogue Ramblers Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
7:01pm After enjoying a lobster roll and clam chowder at Old Port Lobster Shack, we decided to find a few more caches. I had figured this one out soon after it had been published and had passed the cache site a few times but never stopped. Tonight was finally time to find the cache and I knew where it was immediately after pulling up to the coords. TNLNSL and thanks for the round!
Appreciation of OSPsBy: ed777 Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
2:35pm I figured this one out quite a while ago but didn't get to the area until today. It was windy walking down to the cache and that made it very chilly. But once we got out of the breeze, it was warm which made the walk nice. Found the cache easily and TNLNSL.
The DeadBy: bthomas (maintained by MotorBug) Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
4:14pm I figured out the coords from home and found a cool website I never knew about. In the area today and we parked pretty close to the cache. Jenn knew where the cache would be and she was correct. TNLNSL.
