13 days in 30 seconds

By: WAAS-up Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

12:49pm Today was the day to visit the Alamo and I'm glad we got there earlier than noon as the line was very long when we exited. We enjoyed learning about the history of the Alamo. Thanks to Kealia back in the Bay Area who took the photo of us. Thanks for the cache!

Too Weird, Man

By: Carl LaFong Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

3:49pm My boss took me to Weird Stuff to check out the printers he was thinking about buying. Since I was there, I might as well pick up this cache. The person I called to take my pic wasn't there so I thought I was out of luck. But near the back of the main area, there's a counter where you can test equipment to make sure it powers up/works. There's also an Internet-connected computer back there. So all I had to do was wait in camera view for about a minute, go back to the computer and print screen, open with some imaging program that was on the computer and email it to myself. Pretty crafty, huh? [:D] Anyway, my boss ended up buying three laser printers for the office, which will help me print all those tax returns A LOT faster than now. And they even threw in a container I'll use to keep my geocoins in, for free.

the M cam

By: forman Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

5:48pm I called my bro to take this picture of me. I'm the one in the upper left corner with the shopping bag, talking on the cell phone. Lot of kids playing with the lights. Later, I went down to the arcade and played a few games myself.

Maui Beach Cam

By: steverup Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

1:19pm We were visiting the nearby Sheraton and decided to make the walk over to this one. Our buddy Tim, back in San Jose took our picture, showing Jenn waving and me on the cell phone talking to Tim. Even though it looks sunny and the temp says 86 degrees, it was actually raining a little!

The 4 Corners Cache

By: LV Hiker Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

1:39pm Vacationing in Vegas for a few days. This was our first cache in Vegas and our first webcam cache! Back home in the Bay Area, Batfish took our picture of us at the top of the escalator. It took a while, as we had to wait for the webcam to cycle back to the correct position.
