Pennies From Heaven

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular

San Cristobal Mine Cache

By: gdixon Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

Some in our party (cache party was Team Alamo, Bthomas, Walruz, LeChuck) wanted to go straight overland to this cache. I'm allergic to poison oak tried to keep our little party on the trails. Thanks for the cache, its a great location and a good spot for taking pictures.

Mars' Cache

By: pbshoe Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

Even though I had hiking boots and long pants, I noticed a telltale red rash on my ankles upon getting home. Its very difficult to get throuh here this time of year without stepping in the poison oak. Decontaminated at home with a bottle of Tecnu I keep around just for this purpose, followed by a cold shower to wash away the urushiol.

Victoria Shaft

By: gdixon Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

Read the cache materials with Walruz, really very interesting. Thanks for the cache.

Rocky Start

By: britdog Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 4.5 Container: Not chosen

This was the first and last cache we (Walruz, LeChuck, TeamAlamo, Bthomas) found today in Alamaden. We found the first stage, the drove over to the Hicks Road entrance, hiked around and found 4 other caches, and then found the final of this cache on the way down to the lower parking lot. Thanks.

Mars' Park

By: pbshoe Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Found it! Thanks.

Army ReTIRED

By: travelingclan Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

Have seen all of the above movies except 'We Were Soldiers' which somehow got by me, I'll have to rent or borrow it now. Found this and others today in Alamden with Bthomas, TeamAlamo, Walruz and LeChuck. While their Garmin GPS's became momentary confused by the tree cover, I swooped in with my Magellan and found the cache. Thanks!

Ride the Horse

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 4.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Micro

Couldn't find the cache, so we (TeamAlamo, Maverix, Bthomas) resorted to riding the horseys. Had searched all over, and several of the kids asked us what we were doing (looking for a note). We noticed that the horseys were 'open' so we went for it. After reading Kablooey's log, I wish I had searching a little harder, but it had been a long day. Thanks for the cache.

Ring Around the Rosie

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

Made a slight error with big consequences the first time. Once the error was discovered, things went pretty smoothly and the cache was found, using team effort (Walruz, Maverix, TeamAlamo)

Split Rock

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

Trow Da Rubbish

By: BpSnake Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

On the Ponies - Pony Express

By: TeamMoehrke Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

The GPS coordinates given are not of the station but of the interpretive center on US 50 between Fallon and Austin, NV. The actual Pony Express Station is 1 1/2 miles to the south of route 50, and the sign indicates that a hike is required, but the tire tracks leading off into the desert tell a different story.

Ehh, what's up, doc?

By: Chuguy, Chugal and Scoutin' Sam Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

Cave Mountain

By: Rock & Crystal; watched over by Range Rebel Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

2 FER

By: Cajun Team Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
