Intel Inside Cache

By: Intel ® Innovation in Education Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

I only got poked a couple of times and no scratches. This is a very cool and unusual cache and similar to just a few others I've found. Visiting from SF bay area, this is the only cache I've found in Arizona. Nice and hot today and the shade felt good. Logged my find and dropped of the Lone Star TB. Thanks.

Ten Hills Trail #5

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

I had to double back just a little for this one, and once the point of entry was decided on it wasn't hard to find the cache. Thanks!

Ten Hills Trail #4

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

Once I was close I knew it had to be there. Thanks!

Ten Hills Trail #6

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

How did those red bricks get back here? Found the cache once my GPS settled down, excellent coverage up here more than 6 birds. Thanks for the cache.

Ten Hills Trail #7

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

I was able to walk to within 50ft of a deer and it's fawn. I was amazed they let me get so close, guess there just not afraid of people. Thanks for the cache.

Ten Hills Trail #10

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

Took a while for my GPS to settle down but I found quickly once it did.

Ten Hills Trail #9

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

I had a little mishap which sent me right into the P.O. Don't worry, I picked up a large bottle of Technu at Longs on the the way home. Insect repellant seems to have worked because there were only a few ants. Thanks for the cache.

Ten Hills Trail #8

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

A large dog came up and startled me while I was signing the log, thought I was a deer I guess. Thanks for the cache.

By: Clayham Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

The Selkirk Cabin

By: Ron Streeter Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

This was my second cache find of the day, too early for the golfers to be at that hole yet. Thanks for the cache.

Angels Camp

By: Isolino Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

Didn't have much problem with the blackberry vines. I've been caching around ticks and poison oak lately, so blackberry isn't bad at all. Nicely hidden, thanks for the cache.

Altaville School House

By: Isolino Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

Quick find, thanks for the cache.

Gateway Park

By: Isolino Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

First cache find of the day, apparently too early for kids or police crusiers. Found the cache quickly and headed off to look for more. Thanks.

Smokey's Stash

By: Goober Bob and Family Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

The Trail to Nowhere . . .

By: archaeor Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

There is the conventional way of getting to this cache and there is the Maverix way. Guess which way I took? Was harrassed by a pitbull, spent a lot of time avoiding poison oak, and kept walking into spiderwebs WITH the spider still in the web, which I don't understand because another cacher already found it today and you'd think they'd have cleared out the webs for me. If you've ever seen a grown man walk into a spider web, well its got to be a pretty odd sight because it probably looked like I was having convulsions. Had to walk the LONG way back to my car. Used Technu when I got home just in case. Thoroughly enjoyed the challenge it and it just goes to show that simple urban caches can be made difficult if you just do it my way.

Thanks!

(Micro) at Keopuolani Park (Ex -Temperature)

By: SYamato Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

I followed all the instructions except "stay on trail until very last part". There were lots of little trails and so I found the cache anyway. Moved on to the next cache going a more conventional way. Mahalo.

By: dmathi-1 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Why, Papa?

By: TeamMoehrke Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

Interesting play on words (Francisco the jewelry seller figured that out). Always interesting, the places we end up and the people we meet geocaching. Thanks for the cache.

Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch (Maui)

By: Coralgeo Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Virtual

Went out for a drive and stopped by this cache. What a coincidence, we met a fisherman with a dog named "Honey Girl". Thanks for the cache!

Cliffs Edge, Maui

By: Bpinc Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

While I scrambled down the pali, Mrs Maverix looked at the necklaces and anklets for sale. We talked to Francisco and his wife for a while and bought a nice Job's tear bracelet. Mahalo.

Let There Be Light In Lahaina

By: SYamato Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

Found the information no problem. There is a rusty schooner nearby the Carthaginian which is due to be sunk in south Lahaina to build an artificial reef. Thanks for the cache.

Grandma's idea

By: Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

I had permission from the owner to replace the cache, so it's back in action again. Found the original hiding place without to much problem (let's just say there are a lot of hints logged by previous finders). I put some creepy crawlies in the cache to discourage muggles but don't worry they aren't real. Afterwards went for a swim, water was fine. Mahalo.

Coral Aina

By: Lava Flo Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Nice little path leading to the cache. Some kids were staying cool swimming in the harbor. Mahalo.
