Tamarack Gate

By: WalruZ Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Have used this trailhead several times. Thanks for the cache.

Nefertiti's Pyramid: King Tut

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I saw seven deer cross the trail on the way to this cache. Later on, after finding the cache I spied them way up on one of the hill tops. Took nothing and dropped off the One Paddle, Two Paddle travel bug. Thanks for the cache.

Nefertiti's Pyramid: Viper

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

It had rained the day before (Christmas day), and so my feet got just a little damp getting to the cache, when I made just a tiny mis-step. Thanks for the adventure.

Nefertiti's Pyramid: Shrine

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

This was an excellent day to be out in the park. Temperature was relatively warm for this time of year and it had rained the day before. The grasses were just emerging and I saw a horse chestnut that was sprouting. On a fallen log, orange and purple fungi that are dormant in the summer were growing, and there were mushrooms sprouting up here and there.

Nefertiti's Pyramid: Throne

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I had walked by the throne several times before, but never had examined it closely. Appears to have in use recently. There was a device I had never seen before that seemed to be used to immobilize Garin's denizens before releasing them out into the wild. Signed the cache and moved on.

Nefertiti's Pyramid: Underworld

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Nicely hidden cache. Distured a few spiders. Thanks for the cache.

Nefertiti's Pyramid

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

I was a little concerned as I approached this final cache, I hadn't really payed close attention to the instructions, and being just after a heavy rain, there were wet leaves all over, which just seemed to add to the challenge. I found the needed things and began the hunt for the cache. While hunting for the cache I almost immediately located some poo from some animal or another. This is a very good omen and means I will nearly always find the cache (as opposed to finding garbage which is a very bad omen). Once I found the poo I didn't worry too much and the cache was located in short order. Thanks for the awesome cache series.

Nefertiti's Pyramid: Offerings

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I left my hiking stick (that I use to cross creeks and climb up and down steep hills) at the shrine--all morning. Returned back on the way to my car to retreive it. Thanks for the cache.

Nefertiti's Pyramid: Royal Gates

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Hidden in plain sight. Liked it.

Sharkie Cache

By: JJM440 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

I didn't see signs of teenagers hanging out but I did see evidence of wild pigs, that had been unearthing their favorite roots. Found the cache after expanding the search area a little. The dense fog was carrying the sounds so well it was like the freeway was right next door. Thanks for the cache.

RED TAIL POWER

By: CALHUNTER Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

I walked right by the cache sitting out in the open. Then I was checking out the branches (is that P.O.?). I doubled back and finally saw the cache. I left the cache a couple feet from where I found it, but hidden a bit better, just so it wouldn't be so obvious. Thanks!

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Small

Cache is no longer tied to the tree but it is in a good hiding spot. I wandered around for a bit due to the tree cover but found it regardless. Thanks for the cache.

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Small

I disturbed a deer as I walked up the cache. Nice hiding spot. Thanks.

This area seems awfully familiar. Great view! TN and dropped of the Toothless T/B.

Bay Tree Bay View

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Small

It's a great time of year to grab these caches. Weather is moderate and the grass is flattened down so it's easy to get around. Found the cache without too much trouble. Left wooden nickel and took Oar T/B.

Britdog's Frisbee place

By: marwagsalot (maintained by Beckerbuns & puppi Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

Easy find. Took the T/B and left a wooden nickel. Afterwards I recalled that I hadn't yet decorated my Christmas tree so I wrote myself a note to remember to do that. Thanks for the cache!

Natural Camouflage

By: johnnyb5 Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Yesterday the batteries ran out on my GPS and I DNF'd. Today with a fresh set I found this one quickly, it was sitting right out in the open, right at the zero point. Easy find. After signing the cache log I just couldn't leave the cache sitting out like that so I searched around and found some camouflage. Now the hint needs to be changed though, just substitute "JBBQ" for "ONEX". Thanks for the cache.
