A Walk In the Park plus 2 (#25)By: CompuCash Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular
It's interesting to read all the different experiences people had with this cache. Here are mine: I was just out for a 5 mile hike around 5 Canyons and planned to maybe find this one as part of the hike. Found stage 1 easily of course, was off about 130 feet on stage 2 but the description really helped a lot. Was glad that the direction of the multi was taking me the way I needed to go anyway. Stage 3 was no problem and the final was right on the money with the cache only 15 feet from the zero point of my Magellan. Took nothing, left a wooden nickel and the Donkey T/B. Thanks for the cache.

Nice view from the cache site. It was very clear and I could see people standing on the Mission Peak summit. Thanks for the cache.

First I tried looking at the coordinates I had obtained, when that didn't work I just looked close by and found the cache right away. Three coyotes were yelping on a nearby hillside, their voice really carries and they seem very close by when really they aren't at all. I think they were trying to communicate about some coyote thing or another. Thanks for the cache series.

Had some time to geocache, found this one right away. I originally found some of the caches in this series in 2004. Good thing I kept some notes around.
Inca Gold: Stairway to the SkyBy: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I found this cache in 2004 in it's old location. Happy to find it again at the new spot. Thanks for the cache.

I coudn't remember exactly where this trail went, cache placement help me remember. Thanks for the cache.
Maya Silver: SacrificeBy: WalruZ & GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular
There was a cow blocking the trail so I just kind of stepped around and continued off to the cache. Thanks!
Maya Silver: BetrayalBy: WalruZ & GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
Nice view from up here. Somehow I had remebered the climb up to be worse that it really is. Found the cache quickly and moved along. Thanks for the cache.
Maya Silver: EscapeBy: WalruZ & GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular
Very pretty crop of poison oak coming up downhill from the cache. It's actually not a bad looking plant at times, too bad it's so itchy. Thanks for the cache.
Maya Silver: RedoubtBy: WalruZ & GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular
There was a branch point and of course I took the wrong trail. But once upon the ridge line, I was able to easily backtrack on the real trail to find the cache. Nice view (as they are all on this series).

I had wanted to place a cache here at one point years ago, it's a natural spot. Enjoyed it!
Just A Little Higher!By: CKayaks Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 4.5 Container: Small
I used Payakoi's method and also circled around until I saw it. Nice view. Thanks for the cache.
A.A. Memorial GroveBy: CKayaks Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small
I came down from Horse Heaven Trail, the upper part of Grove Trail coming down was in terrible shape from all the rain which created some mud slides that I had to pick my way through. Once I reached the water tank the trail became much better and I found the cache right away. I recommend approaching from the regular Hidden Valley Trail until the area has a chance to dry out. Thanks for the cache.
Bang BangBy: Pedalman Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
I've found lately that I can avoid the ticks by caching around sunset (maybe the little guys get tired out and have to retire early). Found this cache easily, and rode on to the next cache (which tired me out, that hill is steep going southbound). Thanks for the cache!

Oh gosh riding up that hill tired me out. I was fun riding back down though. Thanks for the cache.

Rode out and found this one after work. Was skunked at a prior cache today so I was glad to have found this one. Thanks!
Coyote Creek FlumeBy: STP Ron Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
Nice view of the Shutzhund Club from here. I watched them practice for a while. After finding the cache, I brushed off a hitch-hiking tick and rode on down the trail, but didn't make it very far as its still under a couple feet of water. It was getting kind of dark at this point so I turned around and rode on back.
Coyote RanchingBy: STP Ron Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Quick find. Equestrian trail is under a foot of water now. Thanks for the cache.
Fuss, Sitz, Bleib!By: bykenut Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
I didn't bother looking for the cache since the club was meeting but I got to see a shutzhund in action. This one was sitting patiently while it's owner hid behind a blind. They all seemed to be German Sheperds except there was a Boxer I think. Some dogs were being walked and a couple were playing tug-of-war with their humans. Looked like fun.
Basking in the ParkBy: STP Ron Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
Maybe this should be called 'Critter Cache', because Coyote Creek is nearby, and the rattlesnake warning signs in the park. At the zero point I disturbed a rock which brought up a bunch of ants. And then there was the little tick that tried to hitch a ride (good thing I spotted it). Anyhow it was fun riding there at lunch and I had just enought time to find the cache and get back to work. Thanks!
Basking on the RidgeBy: STP Ron Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
Had some encouragement from the cache owner, and went back (this time it wasn't raining though). Found all the stages and the final too, it was a well thought out multi & lots of fun. Thanks!

Rust in PeaceBy: bullit Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
Still rusting! Walked thru the tall grass to get this one. BTW, city of San Jose is releasing water from Anderson Res. in order to avoid having water go over the spillway during a storm. So the creek water is very high right now but not up over the trail in places like it was last week.
Parkhere - Coyote CreekBy: STP Ron Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Rode out during lunch break to get this one. Trail is a litte damaged under the 101/85 interchange but still passable. Thanks for the cache.

Coyote Creek Trail Secret Entrance 2By: STP Ron Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
Found it right around sundown. I have taken to cycling on this trail at lunch so I must have ridden by the cache dozens of times. BTW, water seems to be up and down, the section of the train north of Silver Creek Valley Road was under water when I checked it last week but early this week it was passable again. Thanks for the cache.
Basking on the RidgeBy: STP Ron Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Well I parked in the mall, does that count? Found the cache in short order. Log was a little wet, needs a couple of days of sun to dry it out. Somehow my pen was able to write on it. Thanks for the cache.

Right-On-TargetBy: MartianRabbit Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Found the cache and got some coffee right after. There was a Pete's right there but I was too lazy to get out of my car so I opted for Caffino. Thanks for the cache.
Redwood PlazaBy: MartianRabbit Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
There was a guy staring right at the cache, and I almost gave up waiting, but then I think his clothes were ready. I took the opportunity to jump out of the car and grab the cache. Thanks!
