By: woodyrat Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I had to look several times before I believed. Thanks, enjoyed it.

South Valley Backroads #6

By: TLHarrell Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Nice tranquil setting for a cache. Thanks, enjoyed it.

Did you know?

By: #1 geobears Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I didn't really have so much trouble with the muggle factor as much as just finding the cache. Gave up at one point but after reading the description again I gave it one more try and there it was. Thanks, enjoyed it.

You Can't Fish Here

By: TLHarrell Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

Nice cache location, very scenic and it was fun getting there too.

Rusty

By: Rocket Girl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

This took me a little while just because it was dark, but being systematic about it paid off in the end.

Stroller Friendly #3: A Bouncy Ride

By: Geo Baby and BuckyDef Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Had fun with the multi except I had a little trouble at stage 3 and ended up searching for longer than I really needed to, I just need to learn to follow the GPSr. I found the final in poor shape, recent work had disturbed the cache and consequently muggles had gotten to it. I found the cache with a torn geocaching notice and a motogirl pin and no log sheet. On the ground was a little plastic bag. I put the notice in the plastic bag, and put that, plus the motogirl pin, plus a wooden nickel back in the cache. I went to my pickup and got a log sheet and put that in the cache as well. Then I hid the cache as best I could, hope it lasts. The owner may want to check things out sometime though.

Central Cache

By: #1 geobears Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Nice cache container. Found it after a short search.

Selwyn Park

By: howeler Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I want to know what these cache finding tools are! Anyhow, stopped by this morning and searched for while and ..... found it. [:D] Cache could use a new log sheet, current one is full.

Quezaltenango's End

By: Oculus Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Nice workmanship on the cache, I did look twice before grabbing it.

Double Sunset

By: MightyDee and HippieG Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

It was raining at the time which tends to reduce the muggle factor. Anyhow, found the cache quickly and moved on.

Altamont N ? Vasco

By: SARCRZY Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I looked in the obvious places, no cache, then I started to think about really evil placements [}:)] No need for that though, I just walked around a bit and there the cache was.

Wood N' Red

By: SARCRZY Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

I'm not really good at this kind of hide, I just try to be systematic about it, and there it was. Thanks for the cache, enjoyed it.

Kiosk N' Canziani

By: SARCRZY Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

This is an interesting little neighborhood, the way the houses are placed you don't get the feel your in a tract of homes. Liked the cache, thanks.

"Fast Food VI"

By: TeamTek Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

There really wasn't any smell today, maybe they took the trash out. But really it was probably due to the wind, rain. Found the cache quickly and then ducked in for some fast food too.

Annealed Ovum

By: fizzymagic Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

What is needed here is some more "no parking" and "no stopping" and "no tresspassing" signs here because people might not get the picture. Well at least there is not a "no geocaching" sign (I have always found that to be the case). Enjoyed it, thanks.

Forget me not

By: Halbert Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

I liked it too, thanks for the cache, enjoyed it.

Les is Knott a Moor

By: mini cacher Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Had to search around for this one, it was raining and the lighting wasn't that great for geocaching. But I eventually found it, thanks.

Just Vasco Too

By: Dynamic Duet Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

The was a nearby feature that kept creaking back and forth in the wind, I was a little concerned it would fall but it seemed stable enough for the time being. Found the cache and moved on.

Kendall's Treasures

By: Kendall5 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

Upon finding the cache I added a polished rock and the Cabbie travel bug so its pretty full now.

The Day the Music Died

By: bellatrix78 (adopted by KG GeoCachers) Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Enjoyed reading about the history of the raceway. Had read about the ill-fated Stones concert a couple of times before, in the paper and in a book by Hunter S. Thompson. Liked driving the local roads for the first time rather than blowing by on the freeway like I normally do.

George's Service

By: Book Bug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Glad it was where I first looked, didn't see a lot of other places to search. Signed the log and moved along.

Beautiful Downtown Vernalis

By: Badwaterboy Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

If it wasn't for the cache I wouldn't have known this was here. Found it quickly and moved on.

Tracy Triangle #9

By: Book Bug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

As I drove up I thought there was another cacher parked there there but it turned out to just be someone taking a break (I think). Thanks finished out the series, enjoyed it.

Tracy Triangle #8

By: Book Bug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Found it after a short search.

Tracy Triangle #7

By: Book Bug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Liked the hiding spot, made me laugh.

Tracy Triangle #6

By: Book Bug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

A patrolman drove right by as I was caching and didn't even look at me twice, always a good sign. (A bad sign is finding garbage instead of the cache). Found the cache quickly.

Tracy Triangle #5

By: Book Bug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I completely missed out on the parking for this cache and had to wait for a couple of stoplights (gosh they seem to take forever sometimes).

Tracy Triangle #4

By: Book Bug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Took some time to coax the cache out of its hiding spot.

Tracy Triangle #3

By: Book Bug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Surprisingly busy spot but the muggles were otherwise occupied.

Tracy Triangle #2

By: Book Bug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Overdrove this one a little, got to learn to slow down around the zero point.

Tracy Triangle #1

By: Book Bug Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

This was a fun series, sort of a timed multi except you get credit for each stage. Anyhow, I gave it a shot today and did the whole series in 80 minutes. Thanks, enjoyed it.

Car vs. Train

By: KURTULEAS Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Didn't have any luck until I tried the alternate coordinates, which were very accurate. From there, using the hint, it was just a matter of being systematic about the search. Enjoyed it, thanks.

Keep Your Head Down

By: Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Area was quiet, which was surprising because the weather was excellent. Anyhow, it was a quick drive-up, thanks.

Halbert's Altamont

By: Halbert Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Nice out of the way spot, found the cache after a short search.

Signs and Wonders

By: fizzymagic Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

It's actually my second time here, last time I was here the spot was occupied. Found the cache after a little searching. Posted picture is of an inn we spotted in Oregon, but is the "No Vacancy" sign really necessary?

Altamont Silo

By: Kenny162 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I also thought it was gone but then expanded my search area a little. Nice hiding spot.

13-113

By: BKip Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Thought I would try this on my way home from Angel Island. Parked down the street and walked back. It really dark at 5:30pm this time of year, every time the traffic light turned green it was just a little easier to see. I have a little pen light and that was more than enough to find the cache.

YAPIDKA*

By: DaveNett Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

This is definitely one of those spots I would have never been to without geocaching. Thanks, enjoyed the view.

three wise men

By: cooperphoto Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

There is contruction going on here, seems like access won't be so easy in the future. Liked the hiding spot, thanks.

Yes, Fire Works

By: BKip Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

12:45pm Had been skunked on a couple of prior caches so I was relieved to find this one straight away. Left the "Blue Canary of Angel Island" geocoin. Ants are trying to build a nest under the cache, but the quickly scattered.

By: cooperphoto Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Troop 333; Angels in White

By: h_mtreasurecache Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Not chosen

11:45am Apparently the scouts are very good with GPSr because mine read 1 foot when I found the cache.

Olive

By: Quetzalteco Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

10:50am Searched around for a while until I got it. This was good training for a cache I found later in the day.

Old St. Hilary's

By: forman Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Found it quickly as the day was winding down. It was getting close to dusk, I didn't think anybody would be around, but after I replaced the cache in its hiding spot, I sat down on a bench to figure out which cache was next, and about 6 muggles showed up just to look around.

Island 3: Angel Island

By: LooneyTunes Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

1:35pm This has got to be one of the oldest caches I have found, placed in 2001, before I started caching. I was actually headed a little further downhill when I spied this out of the corner of my eye.

Rock Crusher

By: momagna Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

2pm I was starting to run out of time, since the ferry leaves at 3:30pm. I just stopped by to look for 10 minutes, and well I found it. Interesting spot, enjoyed it.

No Trespassing Access

By: BKip Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

There were sooo many people at the mall tonight, but I did manage to get a good parking spot and found the cache quickly.

Pimiento

By: WRITE SHOP ROBERT Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

3pm I had come back to take a break and wait for the ferry to show up, so after having a snack, I decided to look for this one and found it right away. Tried to be inconspicous as possible, there were lots and lots of people about, but no one seemed to pay attention as far as I could tell.

"Juanita's Landing"

By: WRITE SHOP ROBERT Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

It was in the first place I looked, wish that always happened.

Battery not included

By: KDcool919 Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

2:23pm This actually took me quite a bit of searching to find, but I figured there were only so many hiding places so I kept looking. Neat spot, there were signs up that the battery was locked, but curiously one of the doors was left open.

Crack Me Up

By: momagna with kdcool919 Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Micro

1:00pm I was travelling on the fire road but dropped down to find this cache.

Stuffed Bike Cache

By: momagna Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

2:34pm Disturbed a huge spider, but it ran off and I was able to retrieve the cache.

peace pipe

By: cooperphoto Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

1:52pm Cache seems to have lost its magnetic qualities but remained hidden anyway. Found it quickly.

Bowling and Dollars

By: rosmo Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

11:30am This was a fun cache with very good instructions. Took Blue Canary geocoin and left a wooden nickel.

10:57am Found it quickly after waiting for some muggles to pass.

More Power To Ya!

By: ac! Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I had some free time between straightening up the house and putting the bird in the oven so jumped in the car and found a few caches. Found it right away, good times.

Border Of Borders

By: ac! Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Happy 50th Birthday, Fremont!

By: BuckyD, Chipino, Fremont Claassens & WalruZ Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Took the tour (gosh it gets dark early this time of year), and then stopped by to swap geocoins at the final. Enjoyed the multi, it was very well thought out even down to having the stage coordinates available for download. Thanks!

Highway 84 TB Hotel

By: TeamSpaz Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Large

Milpitas or San Jose?

By: EricsBrat Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

My second try at this one, finding this cache in the daylight is much easier than searching at night. Thanks for the challenge!

Mythbusters: Break Out The Guns!

By: PurplePeople Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

I had noted the signs before, but had never been up this way previously. Cache was a little off from the zero point of my GPSr, so I also obtained some alternate coordinates, in case anyone is interested. After finding the cache I took a little drive to see the gun range.

Nothing Fits

By: fence_climber and the_navigator_25 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

As I drove up, there was a security SUV, a security guy on a bike, and a mall maintenance truck. I circled around to park, and by that time they had left, and the perfect parking spot had become available. Found the cache and was quickly on my way, thanks.

Bird Walk

By: CompuCash Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

I wouldn't call any one stage easy, but they were all pretty straight-forward and I soon had the final cache in hand. Used my mountain bike, which thru careful years of abuse has only gears 1 - 6 although 7 - 12 seem to work sometimes. But who cares it's all flat here anyway. Took a survey pin and left a travel bug. Thanks for the fun multi.
