Apple Worm

By: Silver Eagle Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

Was out wine tasting and sightseeing, and it seemed like whenever I had a spare minute, I checked the GPS and there was a cache nearby, and this was no exception. Container is pretty well hidden and dry now so no worries. TFTC.

Pillow Lava, Pillows Too Hard To Sleep On

By: AvePaloma and TxCowgirl (maintained by TerryD Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen

Was out for a Sunday drive just sightseeing (but stopped to sample the local fare as well). I never studied geology in school so this was new to me.....thanks for the informative earth cache. I couldn't get as close as I wanted to take the photo as the best spot was occupied by a couple taking photos, so I just climbed down on the beach to get a picture from afar with my cell phone.

Mid-State Parking

By: The Gater Family Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

Nice trail heading up and the views are excellent of the emerald green hills this time of year. Searched around for a bit and located the cache in a spot I thought I had already looked. Enjoyed it, thanks.

Up a Creek - Santa Rosa

I finally spotted the cache, just had to view it from the right angle. Made a mental note of where it was and stepped over there and found it. Thanks for the cache.

Dead Man's Chest

By: m24expert Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

I usually cache alone but brought along a companion, and that was a great help as some of the markers were a little tough to find, just because there are so many of them to check. Really appreciated the extra effort that went into this and the final was fun in it's own right. TN, left the Serenity #2 travel bug.

SE AL the ELEPHANTS

By: THE DBL A-TEAM Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Found the cache quickly and moved on to see the seals. I've lived in California a long time now and have seen a few seals before but there must have been over 100 on the beach today and others in the waves. How interesting. Thanks for the cache.

Kamikaze Downhillers

Saw quite a few mtb bikers out today, seems to be a popular spot. It doesn't look easy going down or up, glad I was hikin'! Thanks for the cache.

The Rainbow Bridge

By: bykenut Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

I was just out hiking and noticed this cache on the GPS. I had a bit of trouble finding the right trail, at the junction I headed down instead of up initially but once I was on the correct trail it was no problem. Maybe a map would have helped. I recall our dog Dodger the beagle who was really just a family dog and he was always just happy to have people around. But the thing I remember about him is that he could really hike, I mean even when it was hot, and there was this one time in Las Trampas when we started to run out of water so he drank out of a cow trough! He lived a pretty long life for a dog and I was sorry to see him go in the end. Thanks for the cache.

Doll House

By: sammydee Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

Rocky Ridge

By: Two Hawks Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

I had to just be systematic about it and eventually found the cache but still had plenty of time to get back to my truck before dark. Didn't get rattled at, I'm thankful for that.

Return to Planet of the Apes

By: TeamNulti2003 Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Large

I got a little tick on my pants on the way over to the cache but it wasn't even a serious one it didn't move at all so I just flicked it off. Had to laugh when I saw the cache container, that's a big one of those! Signed the log sheet and on the way back to my truck took some pictures of the fresh poison oak leaves, it's kind of a pretty plant at times, too bad most of react badly too it. Enjoyed the cache thanks.

California Tarantula

By: Raptor, Rexy & SnoWake Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
