Robin Hood's Neighborhood Trailhead

I also had more of an adventure than I bargained for. I was walking right up the center of the trail, about 1/2 hour before sunset, and heard a loud sizzing noise and froze in my tracks. A Northern Pacific Rattlesnake, about 12 feet away, was going right along the edge of the runoff canal, and it obviously didn't want me around. I turned around and got out of there! I'll be back some other time when they aren't so active.

I'm guessing the cache is gone. I couldn't find anything to 'turn over'. The weeds in Nostrada's picture are gone. No cacher's have found it for 10 day, that's unusual for a new cache. I'll keep this on my watch list.

How Dry I am

I had found 'Leaf me Here' in the same type of setting, and thought this would be a breeze to find. Twenty minutes later, as the sunlight faded, I realized how wrong I had been. Will try again another day.

Didn't see the squirrel or the cache. Not a real productive morning, didn't find the nearby Joe Spaz B-day cache either. Well it beats being at work though!

Equinox Sky Camp

GeoRocks you got me! It was brain fade really, I had hiked out to Midway, and figured I'd find this one on the way back. DNF'd 'On the wings of eagles'. I picked the wrong trail from there and ended up way below the cache, and I was too tired to climb back up. I'll be back!

Oka Slalom

I didn't find the cache but I did see a birds nest with some hatchlings right at the point where my GPS zeroed out, just at about eye level. The bird sort of caved out some styrofoam and built a nest there.

Acrosticache #1

I finally made it back to Acrosticache #1. I found a critical bit of information needed to find the cache. I then had two possible cache locations, one was thru a hole in the fence and down a hill. I didn't even try that one, seemed like it was on private property, and there was a gardener and maybe the property owner (who seemed nice and said 'Hi'). I moved on to location two, where there were all kinds of hiding spots. And that was the problem, I just couldn't locate the micro at location two. I'll be back!

Found micro-cache #1 easily but couldn't find #2. Its a neat area I had not seen before.

I also couldn't find it. This is rated a 1 for difficulty. After this I went on to find Bill's Dental Work Cache which is a 3. I'm starting to think this cache is missing, or else I'm looking too hard!
