Happy TrailsBy: Marky Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
Decided to do a little caching after work, and this was a nice peaceful place to come just before sunset. Coordinates were on today, not many people around, and the cache is in great shape! Traded a sewing kit for WalruZ's mag cache. Thanks!
Secret Trailhead #15 - Junipero SerraBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
Okay, so the signs for the park closure confused me... I passed a sign that listed the days the park was closed, but kept going because I "wasn't sure where the park started". This was a good thing, because I noticed a "park entrance" sign just beyond where I needed to start searching, so technically I wasn't doing anything illegal. Its a shame that I have to be concerned with breaking the law at all by utilizing taxpayer-funded parks. Great hide, and I really enjoyed the cache container. #3 of 3 on M & J caches this evening, TFTC!
Secret Stairway #1- Meadows ParkBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
Nice park! I love the open space on the way to the secret stairway. Cache was in a location appropriate to the hint, so I'm not sure what sort of placement the previous posters encountered. 2nd of 3 M & J caches after work today, TNLNSL. Thanks!
Minor InconvenienceBy: Woof! Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Yeah, whatever. But seriously, I was stumped trying to do this one on my own, and I shouldn'ta been. I finally came around to the solution a few weeks ago with some hints about what I was doing wrong (i.e. everything).
Work had given me a big headache today, so I figured that this cache would fit right in with t he mood. I hoped that if I finished the cache, it might be a good omen for my head. The cache location was quite enjoyable this evening because the weather was great and there were only a few people around. I even ran an errand I had to attend to at another nearby cache. All in all, a pleasant end to an interesting caching experience...
Peace Point TwoBy: Bric Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
I was lagging behind for a number of reasons, not the least of which was my old tennis shoes and Kablooey's chosen path to semi-bushwhack up a small hill to the cache (rather than the path Woof! led us down from the cache back to the car). For my wimpiness, I got to have my photo taken by Woof! as I managed to catch up. Lots of the evil weed around the direction we chose to the cache, most of it very hard to see these days, as Kablooey wrote. Left a TB. TFTC, and on to number 3!
Peace Point OneBy: Bric Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Looking for this one wasn't nearly as painful as the line I waited in at REI beforehand. I guess I was just better outfitted for this task today... On to the other points!!!
Peace Point ThreeBy: Bric Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
Nice hike! I even kept up during most of this one. I had thought to myself as we were driving by the nearby country store that I should probably stop and pick up a bottle of water. Unlike the first two PPs, I really would have preferred to have shorts on. Luckily Kablooey shared some of his water, and it started to cool down as we made the trek down. One of California's "Happy Cows" blocked our way, and wasn't so pleased that we continued toward it and made it move. TFTC!
Eastwood-TriviaBy: Johnny Vegas Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular
I seemed to come on to the scene of this multi with Kablooey and Woof! having found various pieces of it already. Since I have not seen many Eastwood movies, I was pretty sure I'd be useless, but I gave it a shot anyway. Found the first step, and with a little nudge from Kablooey I was able to put together the coords for stage 2. With three pairs of eyes, one pair being Woof!'s, we got stages 2 and 3. Traded a Susan B. dollar for a surf keychain, and traded bugs. TFTC!

Correcting a bug's mileage.
Go RowBy: SuMo Cyclist Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
I was in the area with Kablooey and Woof! and they were nice enough to let me search for this one while we worked on the nearby multi. I was initially distracted by the shells (I used to row collegiately) and the terrain rating, but as darkness was falling fast and I didn't have my flashlight I resorted to the clues. Afte r that it was a matter of keeping my footing and looking carefully at all the relevant objects. Thanks!
Funny BoneBy: WRITE SHOP ROBERT Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
[It was an "ah, yeah, I get it now" thing as soon as I rounded the planter and said "what cache are we looking for?" Busy Sunday afternoon around the site, but we couldn't really be bothered to look sideways at the people since that would blow our cover ]of looking like a bunch of idiots wandering around shopping center art... [Enjoyed the placement!]
Morning on MarketBy: cyan_blue Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Followed the suggestions and came during the morning before heading out with Woof! to far-flung places for far-fetched reasons. Before the original version went missing, I had scoped out where an arrow to the coords would point, so I knew that I had no business being there during business hours. We still had to worry about attracting attention there from passers-by, but I think we pulled it off.
Back to SchoolBy: JohnnyVegas Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
I was replacing batteries in my GPSr when Kablooey and Woof! found it. TFTC!
Noe Cache OneBy: razorjack Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! Used chris_sfo's photos as an additional hint and brought Woof! along with me to make sure I didn't break my neck needlessly. I did nothing on this visit that I attempted on my last two and found it within probably 10 minutes. The money I found on the last DNF is some consolation for my moment of "Doh!", however. I can't even count how many expletives came out of my mouth when I found it this morning. Good thing no kids were around that early. TFTC, I think.
Pole PositionBy: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Found with Woof! who had done most of the heavy lifting for this one. I always make everything more complicated than anyone intended... Took a wrong turn that was actually a right one on the way there. TFTC.
WaterRats' CacheBy: WaterRats Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
I was up for some after-event caching, and supposed that I wouldn't be too much of a hindrance in my good work clothes in the middle of San Jose. I was wrong for this one. When we got to it in the dark (and me without a flashlight), I was afraid of turning my ankle in the shoes I was wearing (I have a softball team to think about before I do silly things like that), but I was pretty sure I knew where the cache was. Eventually someone went and checked out the area my arrow was pointing to, and we got it!
Kyle and Ryan's Kid Craft CacheBy: Kyle and Ryan (and Equinox 2002) Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular
Came by with two of the KusaKids and the adults that enslaved them to find this cache [;)] -- kusangi, Woof!, kablooey and myself. Either Ashley or Caylie spotted this one, since they were the prepared ones with flashlights, and we helped sort through the items in the dark. Didn't have anything appropriate to trade, so TNLNSL, thanks!
It's the Cheese...By: cyan_blue Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
Mmmmm, another logic puzzle. Solved at work while continuously distracted, so didn't double check one minor point. I was glad Woof! and I hit this one together on the way down to San Jose. TFTC!
A Fresh Friday Night EventBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
What a great evening! Nice to see some of the South Bay Area folks that I only know through chat and cachelogs here and there. Snuck out of work at least an hour earlier than normal and carpooled down with Woof! .We met Kablooey in the parking lot, which made the buffet line a much more enjoyable experience! Finally got to spend some time with M & J's binder, and hope to browse Nurse Dave's at some later date! Again, not to break my streak at event caches, I didn't see the log to sign it...

Almaden StationBy: Created by Stacy & Jerry; Adopted by cachbefo Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Quick find on a Friday night. I didn't have the cache info in my cachemate, just coords in the GPSr, so I didn't manage to write down any special code words. Oh well. TFTC.
Come Visit Me for TeaBy: cyan_blue Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small
#2 in the logbook at 20:00. Kablooey is on a roll with the FTFs; I am amazed. I love logic puzzles, so when I saw this on my nearest list while packing up for work, I was compelled to solve it (so I guess it was a good thing Bloo saw it this morning!). Nice straightforward puzzle and a nice hide at the cache site. TNLNSL -- but forgot to mention my favorite tea -- Chai Spice (in Stash bags). TFTC!

Great hike up the hill to end the day of hiking with Woof! and really enjoyed finding this nice big cache. Could see where we came from as well as out to the ocean on this clear day. It would be a shame not to trade, as the container was big, so I took an informational card on ticks (none of which I saw on me today) and left a UNM koozy. TFTC!
Mt. TamalpaisBy: Jeffrey Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
Was back in the area with Woof! and had a primary goal of caching today, so this one came a little more quickly than I expected. Thanks to X-C Girl for pointing me to their log photo to give me a better idea of where I should be, and the GPSr wasn't as far off from there today. I took the scented candle because I could smell it when I opened the container, left a UNM koozy. Thanks!
The Lady from Shanghai: A LooneyTunes Movie CacheBy: LooneyTunes Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
This is still one of my favorite all-time hides, and I just about lost it when Woof! -- far more seasoned than I -- had not yet found it. We swung by only to find higher tide than one might have liked. Well, my ankles were filthy from hiking all day in shorts and low-top shoes, so I didn't mind jumping in and cleaning off a bit! Woof! saw me survive the water, and she was soon taking her shoes off as well to look for the cache... What a great way to end a full day of hiking in Marin county!
Pt. CavalloBy: Mike, Matthew, Elizabeth and Plummen Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
Woof! and I came by to take in the view after a long day of hiking around Mt. Tam. We took some photos of the view, and toured the surprisingly well-kept buildings of the Fort. Thanks for bringing us here.
Leaping TiggerBy: the_slackers Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
This was a busy little area today, but Woof! and I managed to wait out a couple of groups of hikers to grab this well-hidden cache! Fun walk down from the Rock Spring picnic area, and we certainly got our exercise going back. I traded a toy for a small carabiner, and Woof! and I are still working out the YJTB ownership. Great views as the fog burned off just before noon! Thanks! Edit: didn't see Sundancer or FOG TBs in cache.

It was nice to finally get to this one after a series of DNFs for different reasons. Nearby store was doing some really zippy business, and I had to make some small talk more than once during this adventure. TFTC!
Moonbeam's PlazaBy: TheAprilFools Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Came by on a Saturday morning but there were too many people and their encampments about to do a search properly. In fact, a set of luggage was sitting right by where I believe the cache to be. I poked around a little until the person who belonged to the luggage started yelling at me. I left.

Along the De Anza Trail 2 - CHPBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I stood and stared and moved some things around, but couldn't get it. Then I had company for a while and had to sit and think. I thought that would help, but this one just wouldn't percolate in a reasonable amount of time, so I moved on. I'll try it again later when my head is in the right space.
Big CanyonBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
Interesting little park. If I had been in scrubbier clothes I would have tried to see how far back it stretched. As it was, I had little to no GPSr lock and used the hint. Thought I had the place all set and ready to grab, but it wasn't where I thought it should be. Or in the other place I thought it should be. I was out of ideas, so I decided to leave this to another day.
Eaton's Other EndBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
This was the first cache I decided to stop and search for this afternoon while in an unfamiliar area, and it didn't let me down. I enjoyed the quick exercise and was excited to finally find a digitalfish sig. item. I didn't have my swag bag with me, but I traded some coinage from my Noe Cache One DNF for the fish! TFTC and the tiptoe between the PO, which was lining a part of the trail rather sinisterly.
Labour of LoveBy: GoToStJoseph Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
I decided to take the long way to work this morning to hunt for this cache. I couldn't believe that I was FTF, given that it had been listed 12 full hours before I went for it! I really enjoyed this park and what has been done with it. It was a good thing, too, because it was difficult to get a consistent lock on the satellites, so I ended up wandering in and out of the tree coverage to zero in on a reasonable hunting radius. That was probably my own fault, for only having the coords with me, and not the cache page. After narrowing things down to where the green-friendly hiding places were, I found it quickly. There were lots of recent "hangout"-type items in the vicinity, so I'd be a bit leery of hunting this one at night. Took the FTF prize to use on future travels, and a small lock to perhaps use with a future cache. Left a set of 4 AA batteries, a pen, and a new mini carabiner. TFTC!
CalTrain - Redwood CityBy: normanb Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
On a haphazard caching trip to Redwood city today after work, with the primary goal of hitting a couple of the caltrain caches that are involved with the weekend multi. I liked the taco place across the street. Thanks!
Gustine's Sister CacheBy: TeamJiffy Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
There was someone camped out in the area with a variety of things to keep him occupied for far longer than I was, so after waiting him out unsuccessfully, I had to move on. I'll try again on something other than Friday evening.

A Little LogicBy: kablooey Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
I love this kind of puzzle -- reminds me of the only thing I seem to do correctly on standardized tests. I had solved this some time ago, and was just waiting for the right time for a trip to hunt it. I was a little tentative to take the road to this cache, but I overcame my own paranoia to succeed. If only everything in life were like that! Thanks for the fun.
MVPBy: Bodster Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Woof and I were chatting -- lamenting about not being able to cache because we have to work on Wednesday (of all the silly days to make people work) -- and saw this one pop up. It didn't take too long to get ourselves out of our respective houses and on the road. I had been driving around back there just a week or so ago, but not in the dark [:P] so it was a bit of a challenge. We covered quite a bit of ground at the site before Woof! came up with the cache. Then I had to figure out where to put it back without any light, since the ghost across the street was watching. Wooooooooo. Thanks for the night run!
SantosBy: JohnnyVegas Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Wow, I'm amazed to see Coach Tony's find log from yesterday. I came by this morning on a Mt. Tam swing only to find the cammo'd lid of the cache, but no canister/contents to be found. Somewhere between the two visits, something happened to this cache... Anyhow, I had a good time disturbing some mouse nests at this one, and snapped a few photos of the terrified little things for a souvenir.
Bivouac on Tam's MountainsideBy: Seapork Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro
I pretty much knew where to look after my DNF and some communication with seapork, but it still took me about 45 minutes of hunting to actually spot the cache! I even had my gloves and a poking stick with me today... Anyhow, I stayed a bit at the cache site to enjoy the nice weather -- a welcome change from last weekend's search -- and aired out the log. I had some cache maintenance items with me, so I left a ziploc for the log/stash note and a little ziploc for the pencil. Took a foreign coin of some sort. TFTC!
FirestoneBy: Scott Hinds Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
I've been wanting to plan a day in Marin and get the "oldest cache in the Bay Area" for quite some time. I initially entertained the idea of going the way of the last two cachers and sliding downhill to the cache site. Confronting a rattlesnake didn't sound like a fun thing to do today. On reconsidering how active cold-blooded things would be on this warm day, I walked back to my car and drove to the proper starting point. Even from there, I would rate this a 2-2.5 difficulty -- just for the fact that taking a kid up/down the starting hill would not be fun. I was slipping down in my tennis shoes. After that, it was a nice walk and the cache was in great shape. I was all done and getting ready to make my way back to the trail area when illinicheme gave the universal geocacher greeting. I think I answered it correctly, she found the cache, and we walked back to the trailhead together. Took car air freshener, Left big bird plush keychain thing and a TB. TFTC!
BADGES Dinner #4By: BADGES Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Found the event after a day of caching at Mt. Tam... so I was late. Enjoyed putting some more faces to names, particularly after doing The Owl and Pussycat caches recently. Got rid of all my TBs in Tam, so I just enjoyed the lasagne and conversation at Harry's. I chased after the purple Jeep in my white Jeep afterwards while caching with VenturaKids, Woof!, and Kablooey. We musta looked sinister, because we grabbed the attention of Redwood City's finest two different times.
Not Lyin'By: bthomas Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Came by after the BADGES event with Ventura Kids, Woof! and Kablooey. Woof and Kablooey had already done this one, so they stood and snickered as VK and I wandered everywhere for way too long before I finally clued in on the descriptions that were being recited to us as we looked. A lizard popped out with the cache, and hung out on it for a few photos. To be fair, I ranged away because at one point my GPSr was saying 80 feet when VK's snazzy GPS was saying 15 feet. I probably looked pretty stupid looking around there though...
Carry a Big StickBy: bthomas Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
I was just trying to keep up with that purple Jeep -- who was driving that thing, anyway!?! Kablooey did the math, I think, and Woof! found the cache while the rest of us were obsessing about the tree. TFTC.

Palms RockBy: bthomas Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
I hadn't read any of the cache pages for the new caches, and was going on coords and titles alone. I think Woof! had it out and finished signing before I looked up from my GPSr to figure out where I was...
Government TestBy: bthomas Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Like Woof! said -- some guy noticed little groups of people doing what we were doing all evening long. This was number 250 for me, but I didn't know it at the time...
A Harry BadgeBy: BADGES Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular
I was probably the last person to find this around 10:30 pm, and so one of the few people to find it in its natural spot! I had an audience, though, so I made sure to entertain them a little before finding it (yeah, entertain, that's it)! Thanks BADGES!
CourtsideBy: bthomas Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
This one involved a little exercise, since Woof! and I rounded the block... Kablooey went the other way around the block, which was apparently longer than the route Woof! and I chose. Of course Ventura Kids took the Jeep, which was slower getting there but faster leaving! I didn't set the alarm to mess with Woof!, honest, it just goes off when someone uses the manual locks! TFTC.
Tanks for the CacheBy: bthomas Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
This one was so well cammo'd, I passed the flashlight over it the first time and didn't notice it! Was out caching with Woof!, Ventura Kids, and Kablooey. Took a second pass and a few of us found it simultaneously! Thanks bthomas!
Sub StationBy: bthomas Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Ventura Kids, Woof!, Kablooey and I would have looked very strange looking for this one in the daytime. Luckily it was night time and there were no people around to see the sort of antics that 5 grown adults will do to find a micro... Thanks!
This Cache is MineBy: Bric Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Micro
I made a feeble attempt at this one, since I was in the area and had the gear with me. Unfortunately I couldn't get reasonable GPSr and I was wandering around alone off-trail, neither of which I'm usually not comfortable with... I'll come back with a buddy another day.
THE CATARACT WATERFALL CACHEBy: scoobylicious Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
I'm with BooBooBee on this one. This is at least a 3 star terrain hike coming from the Lagunitas side of the trail. I would also say that it is a 2 star difficulty because there was NO GPSr reception for the entire walk from the trailhead to the cachesite. I was going on description and hints alone. That would not have been a problem if there weren't multiple wood bridges and lots of unofficial trail splits after each of them. Luckily I persisted because the area where the cache was was worth the slow walk to it. Nice people on the trails too. Cache was very full. I took an "illegal" (via geocaching.com) item, but did not have anything small to leave. Returning to the trailhead took about 1/3 the time as going to the cache!
mt tam amphitheater cacheBy: awbradford Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
I had meant to do this cache last weekend when I was up for the Pancake breakfast with a group of non-geocachers, but didn't have the GPSr out when we walked by. I came back this weekend to rectify that situation. Easy find with the description. There was no log, stash note, or pen in the cache and the random slips of paper will soon be full. I left a pen, but did not have the other two items in the pack I walked in with. TFTC.

I'm amazed this cache has lasted in its location!! Cool! I had my caching bag with me today, so I was able to perform some much-needed maintenance on its placement "hardware" and cammo. This one was a lot of fun! There was a great view off to the south today which disrupted my searching, but I finally made it through the stages. Skyline OverlookBy: cyan_blue Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
The fog wasn't so bad after work today, since the inland Bay Area cooled off a bit, so I tried yet another time to do the northern "Pacifica Swing". I thought about doing a little off-roading, but then decided that I wasn't that lazy... Found after a little searching and left a string of yellow beads. TFTC!
End of the De Anza Trail - Mountain LakeBy: WalruZ Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
FTF! I always wondered where the De Anza Trail stopped, but thought it was further SE from here. I started out this morning intending to finally do Columba after grabbing some coffee, and noticed this one pop up instead. I figured that I would scribble down the info and see what I could do. The GPSr was doing a little dance all through the park, but I eventually got to the cache. I think every stop on the multi had a sprinkler going [}:)] . I wanted to trade even, so I walked back to my car and saw Woof! pull up. T: mag key hider (go figure - you'll probably see it again) L: meter quarters, a toy car, a pen and some wildflower seeds. Thanks for the history lesson, mental gymnastics, and a nice walk through the park.
Minty Fresh, w/o AltoidsBy: bthomas Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual
I pass by this building every day on the MUNI to/from work, but never bothered to get off the streetcar and complete the cache. Besides that, I have a very middling digital camera, and it seemed as if most of the objects were already logged. This overly-cropped photo was taken from the N side, and I chose it because of all the ones I could see it was my favorite -- I think this is a '35 Boone commemorative half dollar, but I couldn't find a verification image to be absolutely sure.
Bead Jewelry Above the ValleyBy: cyan_blue Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
Nice cache! I was happy to find something regular sized, although I didn't have anything appropriate to trade, as I was coming from work -- trying unsuccessfully to beat the fog today. I did leave a TB to entice new visitors, however. Thanks for another Pacifica cache.
Ghostly Secret of PacificaBy: evanhk Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Counting With GraceBy: robotman Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
I think I calculated properly, but just couldn't come up with it tonight. I looked like a complete nut-job, I'm sure, tromping around the area in the fog! I'll give it another shot another day.
Milagra Ridge ViewBy: evanhk Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Virtual
I thought I was leaving work early enough to beat the fog, after all there wasn't any in the Eastern part of San Francisco as I was walking to my car... Not. It was nice to walk to the area and watch the guys fly their RC toys in the mist. TFTC!
Li'l StickersBy: cyan_blue, cortneyofeden and emmett_the_sane Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
I've been meaning to do the swing of cyan_blue's caches, but seem to always be in another area. I decided to visit Pacifica after work today and do them, but it was so foggy by the time I got to cache #1 that I didn't need to worry about being seen by noncachers at all! With about a 5 ft visibility distance, I walked slowly and carefully around the cache site and found it after some patient searching. Couldn't see too well to comment or trade, so TNLNSL! Decided to end the evening with this one, and crawled down 35 back home. Thanks cyan_blue!
Bivouac on Tam's MountainsideBy: Seapork Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro
It was an eerie afternoon walking over the fire road to this one. I was lucky it was so foggy, or there is no way I would have gone as far as I did down that hill to look for this one. Alas, I'm with BooBooBee on this one -- I think its been removed. There seem to be a lot of expended beverage containers in the area.
Mt. TamalpaisBy: Jeffrey Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
We had 3 pairs of eyes scaling the hillside looking for this one, but no dice. The first of a frustrating caching day. Hopefully its still there.
Stinson Stash Coastal CacheBy: BooBooBee & The Girls Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular
I love this place too! Easy find, almost too easy. The color of the "cammo" really sticks out from the natural cover. There were no previous logs in the logbook, although I did see some trade items mentioned in previous logs... I think this has been "discovered". The logbook was damp and in a plastic bag with a twist tie, so I swapped it into a new ziploc. TFTC.

This cache was the bright spot in a frustrating caching day. Exchanged a Where's George for a dollar in quarters. TFTC!
Aloha Forest? Here?By: Toxic Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular
Excellent walk today, and the cache site was actually OVER the fog when I did the hunt. I work at UCSF and was looking for an excuse to see what the Aldea student with family "projects" are like. NIce. TFTC!
Noe Cache OneBy: razorjack Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular
Okay, so I didn't find the cache, I think, but I did find a blue-purple plastic non-waterproof box with no marking, log, camera, or items mentioned in the previous finder's post. I got a bonus find, though, since it had coinage and a few dollars in it. Because it looked nothing like a cache I decided to CITO it out. I did a lot of physical work looking for the real cache, and scared off some guys below that were amazed someone was up there scaling the rock like that. I probably won't try back for this one unless the owner posts a note saying its actually there or I bring a previous finder with me. I value my life too much to get any more intense than I already was.
Lombard StreetBy: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Finally came by to do this one, one of the last remaining for me in San Francisco, since I'm sort of a touristaphobe. I was amazed that not too many people were here on a Friday night, in cars or on foot. TFTC!
Mom's Wild RideBy: The Owl and The Pussycat Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
I came by tonight to get the clue that I seem to keep overlooking in all these Owl and Pussycat caches. The cache is no longer in the place that I had found it previously. I couldn't find it nearby as well, so it may be gone.
Three Dancing MaidensBy: Sierra Hikers Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual
Things around here were hopping on a Friday night. I wasn't in a social mood or I might have derailed my caching-by-convenience expedition and stayed at the nearby watering hole! This one took a couple of passes around before I figured out the best place to park and access the cache. Once I did, it was quite an enjoyable find! Thanks.

Was in the area and thought I'd grab this to continue my Weekend Trains adventure. Almost drove right to it! TFTC.

I'd been through this station quite a bit, but never stopped and saw the artwork. Thanks!
Egrets' EnigmaBy: The Owl and The Pussycat Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
I just picked up this very same container with the items that come in it last weekend and thought, "how cool a micro would this make!" Glad to see it in the field. I had to let both my brain and my GPS settle before I found this one with very little light and no flashlight. TFTC!
Almost HomeBy: The Owl and The Pussycat Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
This shouldn't have been as easy as it was for me. I almost found it by accident! I just looked and there it was. Thanks for the cache.
Mea CupolaBy: bthomas Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Virtual
Neat structure and nice to know the history and why it is sitting there like it is. I've got good eyesight, but stood there and pondered why someone would deface the structure with that particular "cartoon". No accounting for taste, I guess. TFTV!

Sooo, I take it if one doesn't want to be on camera, this isn't the event to go to.
Willie's Cache: A LooneyTunes Puzzle CacheBy: LooneyTunes Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other
Touched first base. Came earlier in the night when the building was open for business, and had already read the hint (something I try not to do unless absolutely necessary) beforehand -- see log from 7/29. Without reading the hint, GPS reception, and/or the building closed, first base is pretty hard to see...
Herb's GardenBy: WalruZ Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
FTF! This is one neighborhood you definitely don't want to disturb much and attract a lot of attention to yourself. Nice area -- I can see where it can be either a quick grab or a leisurely day in the park. TFTH!
Doug's AddictionBy: workerofwood Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
I happened to be in the area to run an errand across the street and noticed that the gardener has done some extensive work. I didn't have time to look carefully, but my first pass tells me it might be gone. If I can sneak over that way after work, I'll check more thoroughly.
Laughing Sal'sBy: Haicoole and the Petaluma Navy Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual
I decided to come by and check it out after work today. It's really an amazing place, free (sorta), and lots of fun. It is also the kind of place you would walk right by and not even guess what was going on through the mouth! I had Grandma tell my fortune. I saw Susie dance the can-can, but I didn't have any dimes to see what every married woman must not avoid... There were 7 Bimbos a-playin' tonight.

BART - MillbraeBy: normanb Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Was in the area on a recon mission for another cache, the exciting part was the helicopter hanging around over the airport -- I learned why when I got home and watched the 11 oclock news... Scary.
CalTrain - MillbraeBy: normanb Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
In the area doing recon for a puzzle cache I'm working on, and thought I'd grab the nearby micros and pick up some info for Weekend Trains. Nice hide!
Dragon's TongueBy: Rutemple Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Virtual
I finally had a chance to come back this way again, after striking out on parking last time. Today I found a nice illegal spot in front of the place across the street, which was flying a Canadian flag today. The flag house and grounds are beautifully-maintained, and makes the visits here worthwhile. Thanks for the virt, email is on its way.
