Blanston's Stinker

By: JimmiGee Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Yeah, I let the boyz do their thing, since it was a FTF challenge and all, then went in and found the cache. Pretty funny stuff, to listen to 2 high number cachers pseudo-ranting in the bushes, if you ask me. Afterwards, WalruZ started to stick his foot in his mouth about me being "more enthusiastic" because I don't get out as much anymore. Didn't change the fact that I was FTF on this one, but it did change how WalruZ' evening went... Thanks for the cache!

Blanston's Stinker

By: JimmiGee Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

...except that one of the local FTF hounds is currently at my mercy for a car http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=b43c3c42-0535-469f-a15a-88727114183c to go find it in... [}:)]

Birch Grove Park

By: Hazeleyes Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Came by with WalruZ and met up again with DandM to hunt this one. I was focused on the wrong spot, even though I knew I was looking for a "small" rather than a "micro", I just couldn't get over the hiding place I found... In the meantime, DandM spotted the hide and WalruZ followed suit shortly after. Thanks!

We Bad!

By: JimmiGee Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Ugh, memories of freshman PE: holed up in a gym for an hour swatting at things. I mean, hey, its California -- the wide-open, outdoor track/soccer field/softball field is right there, and the weather is usually cooperative... Thanks for the cache anyway!

South Span

By: JimmiGee Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

The area was so flat, if it hadn't been for the ability to turn around and see Mission Peak (and the Santa Cruz range waaaaaay across the Bay through the haze), I would'a thought I was in Iowa driving around some abandoned and to-be-developed-into-McMansions farmland. I guess this is perhaps going to be the Bay Area version of that -- backfilled-baylands-to-be-developed-into-townhouses-or-an-officepark... TFTC!

North Span

By: JimmiGee Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

Found this on a Saturday morning post-IHOP run. Feed me and I will cache... Thanks for the new one in the area!

Byington Park

By: JimmiGee Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

WalruZ and I stopped for this one after a carpooling commute home from work. Only one guy in the park, and he was hanging out on the other side. Thanks for the unwind!

Lookout Palomares

By: archaeor Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

Nice little Sunday drive during our backcountry caching afternoon. TFTC!

HOWDY PARTNER

By: XSARMan Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Said a big Howdy to this one on my second pass through its hiding spot! TFTC!

Bailey 8999

By: Cap'n Jack Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Happened to be in the area with BKT and WalruZ, so we stopped to get this clever cache. Lots of stuff in it, but we TNLNSL, thanks!

Longview Trailhead

By: WalruZ Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I think we might've eventually gotten this one, but I guess we were on a time limit. I wandered around trying to see if my GPSr would settle, which it finally did after the cache owner jumped out of the car and said "its right there!" Thanks, sorta.

Cork-ee

By: Team Tootsie Roll Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

Nice establishment, with facilities even. Came up the trail with WalruZ and BKT, who probably would have liked to go a little faster than I was able. Thanks to the previous finders, we didn't have to wade through a sea of poison oak for this one, for which I was very grateful. Added 3 corks from Walruz' stash to the cache. Had a little trouble with the "deer gate" but managed to put it back basically the way we found it.

Sunnyslope Friends

By: CRYSTAL ALIEN Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Visited with WalruZ and BKT on a fine Sunday afternoon in the backcountry... I didn't have this one in the GPSr/Cachemate, but I wish I did because the difficulty level would have had me thinking differently. Luckily my compadres had the info and with an "ah, I see it" found the cache before letting me find it on my own! TFTC.

BART View

By: Lil Devil Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

I had WalruZ and BKT with me today, so revisiting this cache seemed like a good thing to do. I was amazed that full daylight didn't help much with spotting this one, and these sort of things are getting really too difficult for me to do physically, so I resorted to pointing WalruZ to an area and letting him go at it for me. You'da never thought that he was a previous finder on this one... Anyhow, we managed to find the cache just before a few patrol cars came through, but they didn't stop to see what we were crowed around for. TFTC!

G-O SBC

By: virtuallynuts Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

BKT and I decided to start our work day with a little walk and chat (about work, yeah, that's right, we talked about work) to see what we could do about this cache. Turns out, we were there at a public access hour, and were left alone to saunter around as we pleased (until we hit the rope cordoning off part of the stadium, that is). The only downside was that we had to sign in AND list our ages... Coords were pointing about 80' off, although that was to be expected since we were surrounded by big iron i-beams everywhere, so we used the hint. I dropped two black echo tokens (#253 and #246) for those interested in logging Winini's TFT series in the south bay. TFTC!

Geo Bliss

By: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

Whew -- for a minute there, I thought this might be some sort of bad omen, like someone cursed us or something...

Flood Cache

By: ChrissySkyking + Blaze (adopted by CaliSeaSta Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

T and I stepped back to let the two littler members of BKT have a shot at finding it, after pointing them to the likely spot! TFTC.

BADGES Picnic #3

By: BADGES Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

As always, a fun and festive afternoon with fellow geocachers! I'm almost sad to see summer waning...

Spider Den

By: ChrissySkyking + Blaze (adopted by CaliSeaSta Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

Ah, a hide that didn't make me feel like I'm so physically-challenged that I couldn't find it! A rarity these days... TFTC.

Suburban Park

By: bthomas Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

WalruZ and I hit this one on the way out from the picnic. Boy were we tired, which had WalruZ on a short fuse. TFTC!

Small park, regular cache

By: yungman Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

Came with WalruZ to this nice little patch of grass. A group from the nearby picnic had already found the cache and was having a spirited discussion about trading, rather than replacing it, so our only option was to join in and sign the log. TFTC.

Around Ten Birds

By: digitalfish Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

Was with WalruZ, who was really doing most of the heavy-looking for this one. After walking over from the nearby cache, I availed myself of a bench and did a cursory feel. I guess we were both tired, cuz from other logs it looks like its probably there.

Pacific Shores Point

By: digitalfish Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

WalruZ and I came by to see the area after the picnic, and liked the ambiance at this cache site so much we stayed awhile. Thanks for bringing us here!

BADGES Picnic #3

By: BADGES Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

Hmm, going by geocaching names are we? Well, then, I suppose I'll be picking up both a dessert and a side dish of some sort to take...

Quarry Lakes Riparian Restoration

By: Blanston12 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

Nice little Saturday stroll with WalruZ, thanks!

Alameda Creek #1

By: Blanston12 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

WalruZ and I did the Blanston12 trifecta today. At this cache, I not only got a slurpee, but spent some time terrorizing a poor tiny garter snake that had somehow decided the walking path was a good place to hang out. It was sorta cute how it lunged at me when it was cornered, all 4 inches of it came off the ground! Thanks for the cache here.

Mission Adobe

By: Blanston12 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Enjoyed the roses, oh, and the cache too! TFTC.

Heritage Park

By: dw Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

This park is very calming in the summer dusk, and the cache site was a nice place to stay for a bit. A few kids were running around on the grass having a grand old time, so why bother spending taxpayer money on a playstructure? TFTC!

Sticker Shock

By: Wolf Grrl Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Thanks for the quick one in Morgan Hill! Had it "sighted" before WalruZ got out of the car... Lately, he's been the one finding everything. TFTC!

It's A Kid Thing

By: kaesky Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

I made a cursory look of the area and didn't see it, so it was fortunate that WalruZ got in there and made the find! Dropped off a TB that wants to see Pinnacles (figured this would be at least a little closer), and traded one of the mini 8 balls for a CA wooden nickel. TFTC!

Mystic Mushroom

By: Travieso Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

I've always thought downtown Morgan Hill was rather cute, if not underused (when it isn't the mushroom festival, that is). This is a cute little park, to fit right in. WalruZ and I found the rehide and then went across the street for dinner. Thanks!

Scooct

By: 50sumtin Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

My, what a big tin you have there... Dropped a TB. TFTC!

Max's Napping Place

By: Cats Out Walking Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

For the last year and a half or so, every time I've been by here to look for this cache, it either wasn't there or I was scared off by nearby parties and all the people to watch out for. WalruZ and I were able to finally find this one today! Thanks for the cache.

Costa ņos Caņon

By: WalruZ Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

Had a bug that wanted to be dropped, and I left work at a fairly reasonable hour, so I thought I'd check out this cache. Took a slinky to have room to smash the bug in there, SL. Thanks!

Square News

By: momagna Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

On my way from there to here this evening, and my route took me right by this one so I couldnt' resist stopping. Thanks for the quickie!
