Genen-cats

By: robotman Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Thanks for the precise methods section! Had to school WalruZ on how to read carefully in order to reproduce your results. I liked the container. TFTC.

Tower Of Power

By: Shores Scout, originally by NavySparksandtheM Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

Came out after work with WalruZ to get a caching fix. Thanks!

Under the Walk

By: fishdude Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

I supervised, which I'm getting pretty good at doing these days, while WalruZ did the dirty work. TFTC!

Beacon, Light My Way

By: Shores Scout, originally by fishdude and zizi Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small

For some unexplained reason, we had no sats as we walked up to the general cache site. Nevertheless, I looked around and spotted the cache pretty quickly. Finally, on our last cache of the evening, I was able to be of some use! Thanks!

Gazebo

By: Shores Scout, originally by fishdude Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

Felt kinda watched while doing this one, although for the life of me I couldn't figure out who would be doing the watching from where... I had several intuitions of where this one might be, none of them I could inspect myself, but it turned out I was wrong anyway and WalruZ came up with this one too. Thanks for the cache.

Around Ten Birds

By: digitalfish Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

I had no idea what we were looking for, but WalruZ just had to come back and look some more... We finally came up with it, after searching many different spots that would fit (1) typically hidden micro caches, and (2) caches of ammo box size. Jeepers that took time. TFTC.

Hey! Teacher!

By: Grand_Royal Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Deja Vu, as I had been within 6' of here for a cache with the same basic hide about a year and a half ago. I guess the vagabond problem that had the older cache disabled still exists in the location, becuase the area of the cache hide smelled of urine. Found this cache pretty quickly, as the cammo was a bit compromised. Signed the back of the stash note, as there was no log. TFTC.

In and Out

By: RozNRuss Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

I figured if the KusaKids couldn't come up with it after a few hours, we sure as heck weren't going to... I was getting pretty hungry waiting for WalruZ to give up. Enjoyed the mini-event that seemed to form, though.

Mommy, Can I go to the park?

By: KnightsOfTheUnsquareTable Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

Thanks for a nice walk in the park, the multi was challenging and the hides all good (you may want to do some minor maintenance on Stage 2, though). If it weren't for Fizzy, I'm not sure we would have had the patience to complete Stage 3, but WalruZ came up with that find after a bit of searching. TFTC!

We, The Jury

By: bayarealiz Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

I've always been fascinated by jury service also, and have been called a lot, but usually end up spending my whole time sitting around in an uncomfortable room with my reading material. Doesn't make for a very exciting story to tell the boss when I get back to work... TFTC.

Beachbum's Fortress of Solitude

By: beachbum67 Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

Thanks for having us in your fortress. I guess we were there a little early for you today (Saturday). It was hard to get WalruZ outta there but, surprisingly, LeChuck didn't want anything -- I think he just wanted to get back to his Xbox...

East of the Bay, West of the Hills

By: motogrrl Kilroy Gang Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other

hand @ face sitting next to WalruZ in second photo down = BuckyD (with the incredibly large abdomen, which I managed to hide using the picnic table most of the day). Muggle Finder is chatting with us with her back to the camera.

Bay Area History - The Brooklyn

By: Jean Jim Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Virtual

This is a great place to take wedding photos, and apparently quite a popular place too! The view was great, and WalruZ had lots of extra information for LeChuck and I to augment the cache plaque. Thanks for showing us the area!

East of the Bay, West of the Hills

By: motogrrl Kilroy Gang Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other

Nice little park, thanks for putting the event on and ending the summer with a nice event. I think this may end up being my last official event for a while [;)]

Return to Eden 4 - Morning Glory

By: WhompingWillows Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

I think if I was a property owner in that neighborhood, I'd come inspecting why various groups were tromping around my fenceline too, so I can't really blame him (particularly given the dead cats at the last cache area -- also near a fenceline). Anyhow, as WalruZ wrote, we were asked to remove the cache, and can arrange to get it to you somehow.

Return to Eden 2 - Blackberry

By: WhompingWillows Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Was with the group on this hunt, although DT21 and I left a little early to move the cars since the two young men had decided to stop doing laps up and down the street looking into cars, and instead hang out by the park entrance to watch us.

Return to Eden #3 - Green's Leaves

By: cyan_blue and hobbinator Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

I just don't get the whole dead cat thing. Why would the cats all croak there? Is someone doing something mean? Why don't the local residents even have issues with them? They set up their volleyball game right next to 'em! Between people inspecting cars, dead cats, and property owner complaints, this has been a very strange series to do this morning.

Return to Eden #1 - Hedgerow

By: cyan_blue and hobbinator Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

With the group on this find, although fairly distracted by the two young men walking up and down the street checking out the insides of the cars... Those flowers, whatever they are, sure are thriving here.

East of the Bay, West of the Hills

By: motogrrl Kilroy Gang Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other

It looks as if WalruZ, LeChuck, and I will be attending. WalruZ has decided that painting the bathroom can be procrastinated to another day.

Ashby Spit Park/Point Emery

By: Walter's Extended Family Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Nice spot! Decided to veer out of the freeway traffic (just procrastinating the agony of commuting home) after a meeting at UCB. Thanks for a nice stop. Took TB since there was very little room for it and the logbook and the trinkets in the cache. TFTC!

Hum Dinger

By: r.haus Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

Great spot to bring cachers, and a great hiding spot to boot! You wouldn't expect the GPSr to have trouble with sats here, but mine apparently took a really long time to settle. So I checked one area first, where I was at 1.5 ft by the GPSr, only to look up and notice another area to search! When I came up empty-handed, I went over there. After a few minutes, I was showing 1.5 ft again but at least 20 ft away from where I was before. {sigh} I guess that's why we come equipped with brains and not just tech devices... Took the turtle TB and a spongebob thingy for WalruZ, left a fishy. TFTC!
