Wave to John

By: Trail Reader Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Been here in this exact hiding spot before to pick up a moving cache, so I knew right where it would be (more or less). Thanks.

John's Upstairs Window

By: Trail Reader Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

We spent some time rummaging around through the minivan for an appropriate log replacement, so I got to note all the interesting comings and goings at the store just down the street. Thanks for the cache.

John in Bronze

By: Trail Reader Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

We had to revisit the area to grab the second stage later in the day, after the place opened, so that all those people weren't hanging around the neighborhood doing nothing while waiting for it to open. Thanks.

John Was a Salinas High "Cowboy"

By: Trail Reader Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Yeah, I was on that strange jalopy ride through Salinas in the rain with WalruZ. thanks for the cache.

Westland House

By: Roanq Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

WalruZ gets kind of nuts when he doesn't get to cache all day for a while. It was pouring rain when we got here, but that doesn't seem to deter him. Thanks for the cache.

Fire Station One

By: CaptainHerb Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Not many people around and about on a rainy Sunday. Thanks for the cache.

ITSA INTERESTING

By: JDUDE250 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Last one of the day. Thanks for the cache.

By: abngreg (adopted by BuckyD) Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Replaced container (magnets were loose) and log.

Huntington Falls

By: irwinSports Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

This was my last cache of the day (although WalruZ got one other afterwards) after separating from the larger group that had to head back to the cars. We spent quite a bit of time searching, and were just about to give up when WalruZ managed to find it. Didn't notice any TBs in there. Thanks for the cache.

Prayer Book Cross

By: irwinSports Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Took a nice long group caching walk today in Golden Gate Park, starting all the way at the western end by the windmill. Despite that, this was my first find of the day. I think Zoe_sunshine made the actual discovery on this one, though. Thanks for the cache.

Sandalwood Park

By: Wood_Rat Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small

Last stop of the day with Geo Baby sampling playgrounds. Neither of us was sure that the description of the container and/or hint still applied, but we gave it a try. We looked high and low and didn't manage to find anything but a bunch of trash at the new coords.

End of the Road

By: shell165 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Eventually it popped out at me. Geo Baby really wanted to go to the playground, it took some convincing to stay our course. Thanks for the cache.

Strickroth Park

By: Wood_Rat Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Other

I started to settle in to watch Geo Baby on the equipment, and lo and behold my arrow said 3ft. WalruZ was off following his arrow some 50 feet away and was quite perplexed when I yelled out that I found it. TFTC.

Walter Reuther Park

By: Wood_Rat Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Today was a nice afternoon to drive around Milpitas revisiting playgrounds with Geo Baby. We hit this one after a nice pho lunch. Thanks for the cache.

Peppertree Alley Redux

By: Wood_Rat Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Other

Not my favorite sort of environment to cache in, with the police station right down the street and the preschooler in tow. WalruZ managed to find this one.

Giant Meatballs of Milpitas

By: Xklondike Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

Had some pho nearby, and treated to a nice dragon dance for the new year, then headed over to find this cache. Thanks!

Get Lost Cache

By: TravelingNikki Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

Lost with a group of cachers, that's what we were... Kids enjoyed trading here, thanks for the cache.

The Explosion of the Jenny Lind

By: PurplePeople Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

We took a nice walk, preschooler-speed, around the park today. Beautiful weather out there, and low tide, but we didn't spot the steamer... Left a geocoin. Thanks for the cache.
