Points of Faith

By: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

This weekend I am celebrating Memorial Day by working -- ostensibly attending and presenting at a conference held around the corner from this cache. I've been a bit out of the caching scene lately, so it took WalruZ to point out last night my proximity to said cache while at the conference (he probably woulda gotten it first thing Friday morning before picking up his registration materials if this was him we were talking about). I said something like "uhm sure whatever" when he did -- I'm that out of it . Anyhow, I so rarely carry around my GPSr these days, but unbelievably enough I had free wireless in the hotel lobby and decided to check out the watercolor and map after the festivities (well, the rigorous ones) were winding down this afternoon. Looked like I could do it sans widget, given the hint, so I headed over "on my way to BART". Had no problems -- that's definitely a minimalist cache container! Thanks!

Our group was STF at 6:05 -- got caught behind someone on Niles Canyon Road that wanted to go 35 the whole way.

I'm never against an excuse to visit Cost Plus -- lots of cool candy in there! Thanks for the cache.

North Gate Park

Garage across the street was open and populated, so I used stealth parking to accomplish the mission. TFTC.

Niles Rails

By: Victor Indocruz Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen

I was suspicious of the outer cammo when it was found sans cache -- but was led astray by a 'hint' in a previous log during subsequent searching. Finally, I was ready to roll out and get to dinner, when WalruZ's FAF indicated that my suspicions were correct, so I started looking for the errant cache/log and there is was in the mess. TFTC.
