Levee Bicycling Public GymBy: csolsen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Micro
We took another bottle break to wait for the passers-by to pass on by. At the moment, WalruZ is the best candidate to do the retrieval, so he did the honors. Thanks for the cache.
Levee Bicycling Flying ButtressesBy: csolsen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I guess I was distracted by the constant chatter running back and forth and/or the stroller-bound fussing, because I missed the buttresses entirely. Thanks for the cache, though.
Levee Bicycling Beard StagingBy: csolsen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
At least things started to quiet down, at least from the littlest member of our entourage, while we were here. I'd never been to this staging area, so it was nice to see a new (to me) and interesting location in our town. WalruZ banged about for a while, then I did. Grabbing the hint did it for me and we had the cache in hand to trade toys (which quieted down the 3.5-footer). Thanks for the cache.
Levee Bicycling SanderlingBy: csolsen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
We had a rather inauspicious start to our journey today, which happened to be to this cache initially, but perseverance and a lot of ignoring the complaints coming from a 3 foot elevation pushed us along. Thanks for the cache.
Levee Bicycling Sterne PlaceBy: csolsen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
Geo Baby came with me to find the cache, but she was wearing sandals and flaked out on me. Nicely done container! Thanks for the cache.
Levee Bicycling DecotoBy: csolsen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
Poor little Geo Baby was all "out of energy" by the time we achieved this cache. Nevermind that she can run up and down the levee trail until the cows come home, but when we try to keep up with Dad and the stroller, well that's another story... This was our turnaround point and lots of trading was done to fill the cache contents. This distance/duration from the Beard staging area was just about right for the point I'm at in recovery (which is more of a sleep deprivation issue and feeding "clock" at this point). Thanks for the little family stroll today.
East of the Bay, West of the Hills 4By: zuckermn and Cloversmom Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen
Wasn't sure that we would make it, but things seem to be going more smoothly around the house recently. It was nice to sit and chat with both novel and familiar faces, and the cozy (albeit unexpected) locale turned out just fine.
Bzerk Park+Rec Orphans #05: Charlie Dorr Mini-ParkBy: zuckermn Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
How convenient, an event and a cache rolled into one location. Yipeee....

Niles Bill BoardBy: IrishJen Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Was in the area and decided to drop by. Pretty quick find for me, once I looked around a bit.
Mission San Jose Bicentennial ParkBy: Chrysalides Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
We stopped by here just before having a nice lunch at the Mission Coffee shop nearby. It was nice to meet some cachers new to the area here -- Geo Baby loved running around with a kindred spirit for a bit, which was really fortunate since I had been hoping for a small playground here to help her run off some of that 3 year old energy!
Sandalwood ParkBy: Wood_Rat Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
I think the new coordinates might help just a bit -- I finally was checking out the right object, which also allowed us to minimize antagonizing the dog. This was my (and Geo Baby's) fourth time here, WalruZ's second, so it was nice to make the spot with WalruZ here to do retrieval.
09-09-09 Multi Event - Northern CaliforniaBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen
This one is on our radar and all the current plans seem to fit with attending. 4 in our party, by then, we think.
