Neil MacKenzie TrailBy: Wood_Rat Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small
Took a stroll with lil'brother this morning. Knew just where to look since the area was familiar from a visit two years ago. Thanks!
Al Augustine ParkBy: Wood_Rat Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Not many people in the immediate area, so lil'brother and I were free to relax a bit and think about possible hiding spots that fit the description. Even though the "severed leg" wasn't one of those, I had to go beyond the EPE and check it out anyway... Nicely done hide for such a well-used area!
GOODWILL HUNTINGBy: simply lost Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
All quiet here this morning on a little stroller ride with lil'brother. I was glad to see they put up some orange fencing to separate the "path" from the tracks. Thanks for the cache.
Mallard LakeBy: irwinSports Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
We found a few things, one of them eventually ended up being a cache... Thanks.
Willow Park N GrabBy: SRHunters Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other
Found this one on the way from here to there with the family. Thanks.
Happy Birthday Julie AnnBy: John Randolph Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Got lucky with almost-rockstar parking for this one.
Green House GasBy: JRemynse Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
This is a normal haunt of mine when we're down at Grandma's. Lo and behold, I was able to snag a cache while doing a necessary errand. Liked the container. Thanks.
Meyer ParkBy: Lightgazer Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Came by with Geo Baby to have our lunch and play a bit, although I had forgotten that our playing plans were not allowed since this is a private park... Cache placement should be close enough to public right-of-way to be ok. Future searchers will want to keep the private issue in mind, though, given the full view of the search area that several of the association houses enjoy. TFTC.
Niles Staging Area - RebornBy: geocasual Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Looked around a bit, probably touched the cache but didn't investigate further, and then called out the troops for a more thorough recon of the area. Thanks for the cache.
Food Bazaar: Asian TourBy: JoJo Bean Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
Roaming the area before my baby timer went off -- was able to leave the car running with AC on for this one. TFTC!
A Sign of the PastBy: The North Star Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
been here before, so I knew what to do from the title. nice container construction!
JAFLP-Geek HeavenBy: CKayaks Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Was passing through and decided to find a cache or two. The area was surprisingly mugglicious for early afternoon mid-week! I did a lot of creative driving to hone in on where I needed to be, then lil'brother came out in his stroller to provide some cover for the people going and coming... TFTC.
Monsters Could Hide Here!By: qphoebemonster Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Quick stop to feed lil'brother and find a cache. Needed to be quick, the area was surprisingly mugglicious, and after surveying the many possible hides in the area, had to resort to the hints. TFTC.
Junior CacheBy: ChrissySkyking + Blaze (adopted by CaliSeaSta Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
I was looking for a drive-up to do for today's post-preschool-dropoff cache, since lil'brother has been feeling a bit under the weather (and since I'm a little stuffy, I imagine he's trying to fight off a small cold on what little immunity he's been able to muster in 1 month). Since I'd been in the area recently, I knew that this would be a good candidate in the morning hours. TFTC!
Where The Pets GoBy: SkellyCa Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Didn't expect people to be hanging out by their cars at 9:30 on a Tuesday morning, but whatchagonnado... Sometimes you use your hands to cache; sometimes you use your eyes. I prefer the latter, thanks!
Big Sign by the Side of the RoadBy: Baron88 Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Visited this cache with lil'brother this morning around 10am, after obtaining my vente wakeup juice nearby. Cache seemed placed in a reasonable location, very close to public parking spaces, and was in great shape. TFTC!
Bird Watching by Coyote CreekBy: Allannah, Grimlaf and Geo Starlight. Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
Took a little post-preschool-dropoff walk with lil'brother in the stroller. Thanks for the exercise between feedings!
Alameda Creek #4By: TheAprilFools Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
Took a nice leisurely family stroll and found this cache. We were going to do this from Isherwood, but I got lazy and we ended up at the Sequoia entrance... TFTC.
Levee Bicycling IsherwoodBy: csolsen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Micro
Took another Sunday family walk on the levee. This one went a little more smoothly than the last... This was the first cache we approached after parking at Isherwood. TFTC.
Levee Detour BBy: csolsen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Our turnaround point for the family walk (that was adjusted to start from the Sequoia entrance after a necessary pit stop at Isherwood). Luckily this was just the point that both Geo Baby and lil'brother were starting to complain about the walk (each in their own special way). TFTC.
Levee Detour ABy: csolsen Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro
Wonder how long it takes to construct a fish ladder? Will they annex this part of Quarry Lakes to the trail permanently? So many questions, so little information on the signage...
Ancient ApplesBy: WalruZ Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Yay for the apple festival!
Hi!By: lil' brother - (with help from WalruZ) Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
We ran into Alamo and donv on yesterday's post-preschool dropoff excursion, and they told us that lil'brother's cache was missing and they'd replaced it. Lil'brother was concerned, so we headed over there for today's excursion time (always with the 2 hour limit, donchaknow). Found the original cache and the replacement cache, which I removed. Nice place to relax, have some milk, and be burped. I can see why the owner chose it.
Niles TwistBy: IrishJen Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
After picking up Geo Baby from "school" this afternoon, lil'brother and I decided to have snack at the nearish playground and then allow mom to do some of her kind of playing here. Although I wouldn't normally enjoy searching this kind of area (which is someone's "home" or at least an adult hangout/clubhouse/laundry bin), particularly with the kids in tow, the title narrows the search a bit and the trains distract them from the stuff on the ground. TFTC.
The MarshBy: M & M Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
Impromptu meeting with Alamo and donvsop allowed me to find this cache without abandoning lil'brother's stroller. I really suggest this not be a 1 terrain, given the downed tree and the no trespassing sign from the hinted/suggested approach (yes, Sun has security...).
The Rocky RoadBy: M & M Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
Thought this one might be stroller friendly, since it's a terrain 1, but I still had to leave lil'brother a bit farther away than I liked to access the cache... TFTC and the short walk this morning.
09-09-09 Multi Event - Northern CaliforniaBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen
Always fun to come to a Marky-Joani event -- thanks for hosting and hopefully we'll see you before 10-10-10!
Homage to SilenceBy: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
It was only silent here because I had a bottle stuck in Lil'Brother's mouth. Nice place to sit (and change a diaper), though... TFTC.
More on GlenmoorBy: LIghtgazer Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
We drove by on the way to get Geo Baby some new stickers at the sticker store. Signed the log as "WalruZ and family" to save space, which includes me, Lil'Brother, and Geo Baby...
Safe SeatingBy: Baron88 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
We were out having a Sunday drive as a family (which means that we were doing drive-up geocaches, in our family). Came by this one and decided to make an impromptu picnic of it. Thanks for the cache!
Shady ScentBy: TimeBox Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen
Went for a family drive to catch some caches in the area. Thanks!
Urban Growth BoundryBy: streetwalker1 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro

nice sized cache for the area -- Geo Baby enjoyed the playground while Lil'Brother enjoyed a snack.
