Happy B-Day Joani & Summer Fun!By: nielsenc Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other
The kids are still a little hopped up, so you know a good time was had by all... Bringing a few coins ended up being good for us, because now we've got a cache container or two to do some maintenance with (and we have a lot of it)! Thanks for hosting and happy birthday to Joani!

The WallyDef clan plans on attending -- Geo Baby is particularly fond of birthdays!
Happy Birthday JoeSpaz Is BackBy: joespaz Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other
FWIW we were there until lil'brother's bedtime. HBJS.
Happy Birthday JoeSpaz Is BackBy: joespaz Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other
lil'brother tends to need his bottle and crib around 7ish, not unlike many adults I have known... We'll see if the kids can hold up long enough to attend.

We like this park, thanks for picking it to celebrate the other obsessed family with minicachers...

Oh, that's right, I was there, too...
Little Shop of Horrors VIBy: workerofwood Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
Always a pleasure to spend an afternoon at WoW's house, although this year it seems I kept losing track of Geo Baby in the house. If she's gonna go awol anyway, next time I'll have to bring some good camo for the containers I brought so I can actually work on something! TFTE!
09-09-09 Multi Event - Northern CaliforniaBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen
Always fun to come to a Marky-Joani event -- thanks for hosting and hopefully we'll see you before 10-10-10!
East of the Bay, West of the Hills 4By: zuckermn and Cloversmom Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen
Wasn't sure that we would make it, but things seem to be going more smoothly around the house recently. It was nice to sit and chat with both novel and familiar faces, and the cozy (albeit unexpected) locale turned out just fine.
09-09-09 Multi Event - Northern CaliforniaBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Not chosen
This one is on our radar and all the current plans seem to fit with attending. 4 in our party, by then, we think.
Meet & Greet After The 4thBy: DavidT21 & Fisherwoman Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
Wasn't expecting to make it, but we left Monterey in plenty of time for a nap and a smiley! Thanks for the event.
Summer... I scream, You scream, We all scream IIBy: nielsenc/hjnielsen/worlds worst cacher Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Other
We all had a great time -- Geo Baby with the triple-whammy of ice cream/jumpy house/playground, Walruz with plenty of ears to hear his caching stories, and I especially liked that the mint Its-Its came out at my arrival. Bonus!

Friday Night Meet & GreetBy: RCGDS & NUTS Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
We planned ahead to beat the traffic from the Bay Area (left at 10 am and sailed right through to Rocklin!), let Geo Baby jump on the hotel bed for a while, and then headed down to the MeetNGreet around 4. Amazing organization, and we really appreciated getting our packet and shirts early so we could plan out the next day! This was pulled off quite well and there were so many people in attendance by 7 pm that Geo Baby was able to capitalize on the 30 seconds that I wasn't watching her and sneak off to the see saw, giving me a bit of a scare (yeah, this is why I couldn't volunteer this weekend -- she's a crafty little toddler). We decided that it was going to be bedtime after that, so we missed all the traffic-denizens that arrived at the tail end... Thanks for the pre-party!
Earth Day Morning Get Together in Santa CruzBy: 50sumtin Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
We decided to make a weekend away of it, and stayed over the night before quite near to the event location so that we could get everyone up and to the place on time. Well, we still managed to be a few minutes late, but everyone was in good spirits for the rest of the morning! I changed my order to one of the specials at the last minute, and was not disappointed. Thanks for the event.
Friday Night Meet & GreetBy: RCGDS & NUTS Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
WalruZ, Geo Baby, and I should be able to make it, assuming that traffic from the Bay Area to Sac doesn't take all afternoon and evening to get through. We're good for 2 hamburgers and 2 hotdogs shared among the three of us, thanks!
GW6 Pep RallyBy: BADGES Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
Enjoyed the big BADGES-style event, although its getting harder and harder to accommodate the crowds! We're already all set up for GW6, at the level of participation that we can manage, so we're looking forward to the holiday weekend away. Thanks.
Meet & Greet Groundspeak & Garmin in the Bay AreaBy: Signal the Frog Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen
It looked like rain today, so Geo Baby and I stopped by in the morning to say hi and see the presentation. Unfortunately we couldn't get in the room near the crayons, so Geo Baby found some little friends to play with just outside the room, and I was able to hear a sentence or two at the doorway. Until they closed the doors, forcing me [;)] to chat with Friv while she womanned the tables. I had already experienced wherigo several times over the last year as a beta testing family, and handled Marky's Colorado a few weeks ago, so it was all good. After chatting more while the morning groups ran the demo, we went off to lunch and in search of a playground with a cache near it (that was plan 2, as it turned out that The Jungle was just too crowded to visit for lunch). Funny thing, we ran into cachers at almost every cache we visited... Geo Baby is completely sacked out now after the fun and sugar-filled morning. Now my big task is to get WalruZ motivated enough in a positive direction in order to help me implement my storyline (since he's got the Windoze machine in the family)... Thanks for coming, bringing the lackey bling, providing snack for Geo Baby, and introducing a lot of talented geocachers to wherigo!
