In the words of Geo Baby "That's amazing!" (though she'll write her own log -- she's got tons to say about Saturday). The day was fabulous! I can't imagine a better venue to kick around with cachers of all ages, and keep every single one of them busy with activities! I keep trying to pick out my favorite two or three activities of the day, and I just can't seem to single just two or three out -- they were all so much fun. Lessee: we danced on the tables to the first performance of Music Matt, we rode on a wooden train and a real train, had some great festival food for lunch (which we ate while sitting in the wooden train) and dinner (sitting very close to the wooden train), saw all sorts of animals up close (multip le times), danced to the last performance of Second Time Around (not on tables, thankfully), met Signal, played in corn and on tires, shared Jamba Juice, worked the diggers, saw JohnnyVegas's magic show, went down the biggest slide Geo Baby has ever attempted, found stamps in geocaches for a special GWVI zipper-pull prize, almost painted an ammo can (chickened out at the last minute), talked to many friends both old and new, and looked at all the pretty geocoins all over the place. We had such a great time here we managed the whole day without nap, and I think we will be back to visit Bishop Ranch in pumpkin season - although for WalruZ and I that kind of fun won't compare to having the place occupied with 3 thousand geocachers.
It obviously took an amazing amount of volunteers and work to pull this off, and RCGDS and NUTS did a spectacular job -- THANKS SO MUCH!!!
