Bay Area Multiple Hills - 1

By: Mhop Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular

DNF... Well, the view was incredible, so that made it worth the trip (and the kids loved running around). But, it was frustrating trying to find the cache. The hint was no help because there are lots of those all around. We think either the coordinates were well off or the cache was too well camoflauged. We started where our GPS said it should be and then searched high and low for up to 50 ft. around it. Oh well...

CalTrain - Belmont

By: normanb Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Very clever hide! A nice, quick, but enjoyable cache. Not too many muggles around, but there was a homeless man eyeing us suspiciously, so we had to wait until he left to return it. We took a quarter and a metal puzzle, which we've had fun trying to figure out. We left the bug stickers someone else referred to and a pumpkin eraser. Thanks!

Girly Girl

By: Linnell Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

The girls came to trade in the cache. Claire took nail polish and left a Girl Power bracelet. Maggie took the comb and mirror and left a bracelet. Emilie left the Guatemalan worry dolls and took a pin. The boys came to drop off Going to a Dodger's game TB. To get in the spirit of things, the TB spent a few minutes watching the Little League game that was going on nearby. TB is trying to make it to LA for a Giants - Dodgers game. The next chance is mid June! Seems possible to me!

Bloomington Overlook

By: Drifty Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

In St George for the weekend, visiting from San Francisco. We thought we'd take teaspoon TB back with us, but someone beat us to it. Too bad. Great day for a hike, and a fantastic view. Thanks!

St. George Red Hill Cache

By: Astounding Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

In town for the weekend from San Francisco. Took a hike with 8 of the cousins (the oldest is 10). Each one exchanged a gift, so the contents of the cache changed completely. Took Going to a Dodger's game TB. Great views, nice day (78 ° on the thermometer). Thanks.
