We found this one on the way to the grocery store. There was quite a bit of traffic coming and going from the parking lot, but no one was curious enough to get out of their car to see what we were doing over the edge of the hill. On the way back up to the car, Maggie (6) spotted a lizard. She left a mini-frisbee, and took a Hersey's keychain. Thanks, MJP303

A fun side trip. The rocks were slippery, and the water was still coming down pretty fast. After two of us retrieved it, we all had fun exploring the cache contents from the safety of the trail. John traded his favorite wolf for the Pez pen.
Ted traded some chalk for the T-rex.
Maggie traded a wagon-wheel she collected from a cache in Utah for the London taxi key-chain.
Claire traded a music CD for the turtle wind chime.
I took the Mother Earth TB.
Thanks. MJP303

Our traditional Memorial Day hike. A great trail for our family on a beautiful day. We found it easily even though the GPS lost signal. The logbook indicated that a group of geomuggles had found the cache since the last logged visit, but everything was in good order. Thanks. MJP303

Whew! We made it to the lake! The pair of 3-year olds in our group were tired on the way back. We can confirm that the cache is in plain sight if you look from the right spot. It's just that you will think it's something else from any distance over about 5 feet.
We took Frodo figurine and Dallas magnet, leaving Pez pen and bubble necklace.
Thanks. MJP303

Watch out for the thistles at the cache site! A nice hike on a beautiful evening. Thanks.

We found this cache at dusk. Maggie spotted it first. Although we've been to this area many times, it was the first time we had walked around the lake in this part of the park. A nice way for us to stretch our legs. Thanks. MJP303

A nice hike! There was still a lot of runoff from the recent storm, but the trail was fine. The lid on the cache had popped off on one corner, and there was some water inside, but the logbook and camera were still dry. We tried to dry things out as well as we could.
