A quiet Sunday morning hike. The orienteering club was there having a competition; there were lots of people running around with that antique...what do they call it...a compass, I think? Thanks, MJP303
Jimbeau's CacheBy: Team Big Geeks Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
A fun cache in a remote location (or so we thought!) So there we are, with the cache box open when 2 geomuggle hikers come walking by. We don't notice them until they are about 50 yards away, when my 3 yr old son shouts out, We've found a treasure! They look perplexed, but aren't friendly types, and don't come over to investigate further. A close one! Thanks for the fun. MJP303

On our way back home to California. A great cache, and definitely busy lately. With all the warnings about snakes, we were nervous retrieving it. T: Toy car, wind sock, and toy spy phone; L: Goofy skateboard game CD, EBo construction man, and spaceship toy. Thanks, MJP303

A day of geochaching on our way back to California. L: Windshield wiper fluid and Playstation sticker; T: Australian coin and ink pad. Can anyone explain the hint? It made no sense to us. Thanks, MJP303

We found this cache on the way home from a July 4th weekend. The rest stop parking lot and facilities were teeming with people, but we were alone on the path to the cache. T: pen, bracelet, and chalk; L: nightlight, stickers, and walkie talkie toy. Thanks for the diversion! MJP303

San Pedro Kitty CacheBy: The Carrell's & Susanna Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
A day of caching on the way home to California. Our family of six enjoyed the hike on a really hot day. The crow family was nowhere to be seen, and fortunately for us so were any snakes. Traded a variety of items, and left the Rover Orange TB. Thanks, MJP303
