Whoops! Geocaching.com only allows you to place one TB at a time! MJP303

Circular beach reasoning

By: Skunkerkids Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

We cirlced this cache carefully in order to avoid burrs and stickers in our socks, but to no avail! SMILIE The kids traded, leaving a naknak, a toy frog, a toy snake, and a pokemon figure, while taking 2 pencils, bubbles, and an army man. I left two TB's from my recent trip to Illinois: Lil Squirt, and Brarow Badger. Lil Squirt is in a race with several other TB's from Illinois to California and back. Please help it along! We saw lots of interesting animals in the nearby tide p ools. Thanks! MJP303

Coastside Clifftop Stroll

By: Coppernob for Mrs. and Ivor Screwloose Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

Wow! What a great view. We saw the sea lions, a snake, and a group of kayakers making their way through the rocks out in the ocean. T: toy lion and toy bear; L: Giants keychain, bubbles, and two TB's: Boba Fett and Bug Key. One drawback, dog owners aren't required to clean up after their pets in this area. [:(] MJP303

The Tree by the Trail

By: Genius Loci Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Other

Thanks for a great cache. I'm on work assignment from California, and have really enjoyed my after work diversions here in Illinois. I spotted the cache right away, as this type of hiding place is common in my neck of the woods. While I was engrossed with reading and writing in the logbook, a deer came withing 20 feet of me. I think we spotted each other about the same time, but it's a toss-up as to who was more startled! SMILIE

nursery in park

By: schaumburg guy Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

I am collecting TBs. Since Lil Squirt wants to go to California, I am happy to oblige. My GPS went a little haywire close to the cache site, and I spent a few minutes playing troll before I found it. [;)] Lovely spot. If any one could enlighten me as to the reason for the name of this cache I would appreciate it. Thanks, MJP303

North Branch Cache

By: Centaur Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

On work assignment from California. Thanks for the beautiful hike. Found cache sitting on ground in plain sight. Took Badger TB. Are there any badgers in CA? I don't know, but the TB is going to find out. I attempted to conceal the cache with bark. Thanks, MJP303

Fore

By: Greenback Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

On work assignment from California. I used the bridge to get to the correct side of the river on my way to the Harms Woods cache, then ended up finding this one first. Thanks for the adventure. [8D] Unexpectedly, I discovered a TB in the cache, although it hasn't been logged yet. TTBLNSL. MJP303

In the Open

By: Greenback Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

On work assignment from California. Well, like the cache description says, I am well familiar with this little stretch of river now. I made the mistake of warming up with the close-by regular caches before going for this micro. I got within 40', but then had to walk nearly a mile around to actually log it. Locals will surely know why. [:I] Thanks for the adventure! [8D] MJP303

Harms Woods

By: SteveOr Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

On work assignment from California. Well, my general philosopy is not to use the hints...which put me on the wrong side of the river! SMILIE I found the bridge, and used it! There were two other potential bridges, both of which were closer, but even more challenging than the one in the description. Thanks for the adventure, and a longer walk than expected. [8D] TNLNSL. A beautiful day with a light breeze. We found the cache quickly, and examined it under the shade of a nearby tree. Thanks. MJP303

Doggie Do (revived!)

By: Paul Hoff - > Team Dralasites - > crawburr ! Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

Whew! Quite a hike for some of the shorter legs (not dogs!) in our party. Took nothing, left TB. Thanks, MJP303

Jepson Laurel

By: Woof! Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

My first time on this trail. It was a beautiful ride. It wasn't too difficult to find, but I had to time my retrieval and replacement between the waves of people passing by. I took the bug key TB. Thanks, MJP
