Counting With Grace

By: robotman Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular

Not-So-Secret Trailhead #1

By: Woof! Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

A windy and cool night with no one around. I love this trail. Find #100 for me [:D]. MJP303

They Went Thataway

By: MikieP & Mrs. P Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

I've had this cache on my to do list for a while. I love driving this stretch of freeway, but unfortunately it's not all that convenient to my commute these days. MJP303

Dam the Barbed Wire!

By: Woof! Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro

Relatively quiet at the cache site on a Tuesday at lunch. I saw some really big fish in the shallow water by the dam causeway [8D]. Thanks, MJP303

Lyle Park Cache

By: Chrissy_Skyking & Blaze Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I came by this cache last Saturday morning. No way I was going to get it then, even though I was pretty sure right where it was. Nabbed it this time though. MJP303

Five Star Hero

By: Njal Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Not chosen

A beautiful sunny day with not a cloud in the sky. It appears that several of 5-star hero's naval WWII contemporaries are buried nearby. Specifically, I noticed the grave of Admiral Raymond Spruance. His decisions during the Battle of Midway changed the course of the war for the United States. Thanks for bringing me here. MJP303

San Bruno Mountain Alternative

By: ACK 2 SF Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

Fog yesterday, HEAT today. Enjoyed the hike and incredible views. Saw a huge hawk at the first waypoint. Used the hint to clarify the sign point system. I don't see how you can avoid a mistake otherwise. TNLN. Thanks, MJP303

Wooden Brother

By: ChrissySkyking + Blaze Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

9pm: Lots of activity at the ATM, all quiet at the cache. MJP303

By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

A much easier find at night. No one to distract me. MJP303

CalTrain - San Mateo

By: normanb Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Found it in short order, but forgot a pen. Cache took a short side trip to 7-11 to buy one. MJP303

Cross Country

By: MikieP Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Virtual

We came at sunset, missed the gate, and tried (not for long!) to approach the cache straight on. After circling back, we took the correct path, and...sucess. We had to use a flashlight to find the clue, but enjoyed the night time views. Thanks, MJP303

Hoover

By: Bodster Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Found it, but not before sifting through what appeared to be a transient's stashed loot [:O] about 2 feet away. Nice park, though. We stayed and played. Thanks, MJP303.

Menlo Circus

By: ChrissySkyking + Blaze (adopted by andrewclan Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

By: ChrissySkyking + Blaze (adopted by CaliSeaSta Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small

Flood Cache

In the Greens

By: ChrissySkyking + Blaze (adopted by CaliSeaSta Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small

Beautiful park! I dropped off my daughter's travel bug, "Froggie by Maggie" since it fits the theme of this cache so well. Thanks, MJP303

Men of Stone

By: MaxEntropy Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular

Took the walk this morning. Cache site is pretty parched; it will be much harder to find when the grass grows. L: Bracelet keychain; T: Rubik's keychain. Thanks, MJP303.

Gustine's Sister Cache

By: TeamJiffy Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

I've looked for this cache twice, to no avail. Could someone check on it please? Thanks, MJP303

Harold and Maude

By: Maddy & Kent Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

It took quite a bit of searching for me to find this cache. The previous finder did a good job rehiding it. I was fooled by a heavily trampled area close by [V]. Please be careful when you are poking around. A beautiful view. Thanks for bringing me to this spot. MJP303

"Back to school, Kinda"

By: Rob and Brandon Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular

People all around: a man being walked by a dog (really!); two city workers trimming trees; a guy hosing off his driveway. But, fortunately, the captain of the neighborhood watch who was pushing her grandson in the swings was not here this time (my second visit). The log book is FULL. TNLN. MJP303

BART - Millbrae

By: normanb Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

A lot of parking...not a lot of cars. MJP303

CalTrain - Millbrae

By: normanb Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Cache was a bit damp...I'm not sure how that could have happened given its sheltered location. MJP303

GeoDice

By: mrZ Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

Found it! Thanks, MJP303

Rafts Stalk Up!

By: PisoMojado Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small

Great adventure! I came with my twin boys this time (age 3). We crossed the creek about a dozen times, and they were soaked by the time we made it back to the car. Lots of muggle traffic on a Friday afternoon. Beware. Definitely cache trasher types [:(]. Thanks, MJP303

Laureola

By: bthomas Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro

2nd to sign. Great park! If you're into playgrounds, the 2-story circular slide is a must. A hold-over from yesteryear; They don't make 'em like that anymore. MJP303

Mussel Rock Music Exchange

By: cras Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular

Great place! The marine layer was pretty heavy today, giving the cache site a muffled feeling. I came to place TB Blinky (Bart's 3-eyed fish), who I am sure will feel right at home so close to the water. TNSL. MJP303
