Ted (age 3) and I examined the pump closely for a few minutes, then, upon widening the search, made a find. MJP303

For me, the biggest challenge on this cache was finding the sculpture's plaque. I must have been quite the sight wandering around looking for it. Part of the problem, I geuss, is that I couldn't tell where the "front" was. I'll be darned if I know what the sculpture is, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. MJP303

I found it with DavidT, who was gracious enough to let me sign first. Unfortunately, we were not FTF. My GPSr was a little crazy, but I did register within 18ft as I drove by at 70 mph. That's the closest reading I ever got. MJP303
Little House at the ParkBy: ChrissySkyking + Blaze Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
I found it, along with a piece of 'geotrash': a piece of paper with the coordinates and calculations for the nearby "Convertible" cache. MJP303
Olive 2 PardeeBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I'm going to call this a find. I could touch the cache container, but couldn't get it out. I've got the scrapes on my knuckles and forearm to prove it. My six year old daughter probably could have gotten it, but she was a bit aprehensive about sticking her arm down that hole well past her elbow. The next finder will have to have small hands or some sort of extraction device. MJP303
Garden PardeeBy: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Maggie, Ted and I found it pretty quickly. The gardens were deserted. MJP303

A quick find on the way to Thanksgiving dinner. John (3) and Ted (3) found it while the rest of us waited at the picnic table. A lot of trading occured, and everyone left satisfied. I dropped off a TB. Thanks, MJP303
Pole PositionBy: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Personally, I'm more of a NASCAR type, but thanks for a fun puzzle. The location is just obscure enough that I really wasn't sure I had the right solution until I found the cache. As far as poles go, it takes all types. MJP303
Alien MessageBy: Winini Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Micro
I enjoyed this hike on a lovely Sunday morning, and found the cache in good shape. There were lots of muggles around, so I had to be a bit careful retrieving it. I pretended to be stretching against a nearby post while signing the log. FTF in base ten [:D]! Thanks, MJP303
Sun Microsystems Geek CacheBy: DeadReckoner Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
I found it on my 2nd try. The path was very quiet on a Sunday morning. The cache camoflage is gone. Thanks, MJP303
Queche Sera Serra - NorthboundBy: PisoMojado Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
I bumped into it after a bit of walking around. Thanks, MJP303
Queche Sera Serra - SouthboundBy: PisoMojado Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
I'm going to record this as a find. I stood there not 2 feet from the cache looking at it. The area was so thick with muggles that there was no way I could do anything more than that without attracting attention. MJP303
Bay Area Multiple Hills - 1By: Mhop Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
I searched for this cache last spring, but couldn't find it then. I guess my searching skills have improved, because I found it this time quickly. Great view. Very clear today. Thanks, MJP303
Eaton's EdenBy: sfaisdg Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
I approached this cache from the top of the hill, finding the first waypoint after a few minutes. After approaching the final cache, I had a bit of difficulty deciphering the long hint in my head (without a pen). Nice hide, beautiful spot. Thanks, MJP303
Return to CamporeeBy: jollybgood Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Other
I had to use the hint to find the first waypoint. I've never seen that hiding technique used before, but will use it for a cache back home [8D]. I enjoyed the park, although the windy weather is a bit cool for my taste. MJP303 Redwood City, CA
Quickmud CacheBy: ssphoto Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Micro
I think I happened on this cache during the most convenient time of year to find. I would imagine that the approach would be a muddy mosquito infested battle during other seasons. Great views. Thanks for bringing me here.

The BlueTubeBy: Manlion and Clockman Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
I walked the loop and found the cache. There was no way to trade, as someone has stuffed the logbook's plastic bag way down in the tube and it is preventing the loot from getting out [:(]. Not a big deal for me, but if a family comes along, there will be some disappointed kids. The next finder should bring something to pull it out! Thanks for placing this cache. MJP303 Redwood City, CA

I am visiting from California. When I saw this cache description, I knew I had to visit since I had Herbie TB (a VW) to drop off. Well, it turned out there were a few obstacles [;)]. Last night, with light quickly fading, I set out, soon to recognize that there was no way I could possibly find it in the dark. It was a good thing I came back to the car when I did, since a cop was about to call a tow truck to remove my rental car so he could chain the forest preserve lot. After explaining that I was from out of town, he gave me the "fruits nuts" look and let me go. This morning, I arrived with good light, but the lot was still closed [V]. No matter, I am a resourceful geocacher, and parked down the street behind the church. I had fun bushwacking my way around all the downed trees [8)].
After searching for a few minutes, I found the cache in good shape. TNSL. Thanks for the fun. MJP303
The DumpBy: Joseph Ruff Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular
This morning was one of those rare occasions when the kids actually asked to go geocaching SMILIE so I feverishly searched for something more rewarding than a micro (to them the destination is more fun than the journey!), and we set out. We found the cache easily, and everyone traded. Along the way we saw a pheasant, pelicans, and snails emerging from their sun bleached shells (how do they survive the summer???) Thanks for the adventure. MJP303

Definitely not in an obvious hiding spot, but, in my defense, ran out of time. I will try again. MJP303

STF: 11:30am. The park ranger was on a lunch break, so I ventured in [;)]. I was not aware of this place. As I approached, it seemed peaceful enough...then WOW!!! [:O]. BTW, cache camo is a work of art, although a bit lost on this hiding place. Thanks, MJP303
Pure Quality Bald KnobBy: Ruprex and Ruprex's Girl (adopted by mjp303) Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Small
I found the cache after some scratching around in the bushes. I enjoyed the nearby views and the peaceful hike to this cache. Thanks for leaving a map of the area. Sometimes knowing exactly where you are doesn't tell the whole story [;)]. MJP303
Semiprecious ParkBy: Mengarelliott Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
The hike to this cache was fantastic. I only saw one other group while on the trail SMILIE. Being able to faintly hear the 49ers game drifting up from below, however, reminded me that I wasn't too far from civilization [:(]. Thanks, MJP303
