Stairway to HeavenBy: SUPERflamingo Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Micro
STF. 8:30pm I was suprised to find kids playing on the playground nearby. Isn't it a school night? In any case, they paid me no heed, and I found the cache. Nice hide. MJP303

I found it just as the light was fading. Nice. MJP303
De Anza Camping FavoritesBy: Sierra Hikers Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Fishbowl caches like this one always make me nervous. Plenty of opportunities to be observed from the nearby apartments. Interesting spot though. L: Sawyer Camp Trail map; T: Yosemite map, and the Compass TB to guide me there. Thanks, MJP303
Kiss the Dog!By: Marky & Joani Difficulty: 4.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
This one has been on my nearest list for quite a while. After two frustrating failures last fall, I finally got enough nerve to try it again. Sucess!!! Thanks, MJP303
Yumpin' Yimminie Coin Cache RevisitedBy: The Owl and The Pussycat Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
FTF!!! [8D] 11:30am. Tree cover made this cache a bit tougher. Coordinates may be off a bit, but I didn't trust my own readings enough to post alternate ones. I succumbed to the temptation to look for the cache in places where PO abounds a few times. Hopefully I won't pay for it. Thanks for the lunchtime adventure. TNLN. MJP303
3 strike ruleBy: Bodster Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
At 11pm I had the park to myself. Strange thing though, the scoreboard was randomly flashing exclaimation points. MJP303
Fantastic Field of FlowersBy: SolarGal Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
This one was a great excuse to get everyone out of the house on a Sunday afternoon. Even the 4-year olds know what poison oak is now; thanks for warning us. Everyone else on the trail, and there were quite a few, was wearing shorts. [:(] After trading toys, writing in the log book, and enjoying the view, we made our way back home. No TB in sight. Thanks, MJP303
Harbor PatrolBy: TBD & D Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
We came by after dark. The kids played on the dock while I searched. After sweeping up a lot of cobwebs on my car key, I finally figured out what the spider was trying to tell me. [;)] MJP303
Lyle Park Cache Lives!By: ChrissySkyking + Blaze (adopted by CaliSeaSta Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I had to be a bit sneaky since there were sunbathers on the grass nearby. What a beautiful day. Thanks, MJP303
Alice Locke ParkBy: DrHugAlot Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Thanks for the history. In my opinion the ACLU has become something a little bit different than Alice Locke would have intended, but I'm sure she would have been a Geocacher! Thanks, MJP303
Quackie QuackBy: DKAK Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular
According to the log, the previous finder fished the cache out of the water. I found it close the the intended location, but definitely not as concealed as it would have been. I returned it to the intended location (I think! SMILIE) Oh, left a yellow coral snake. Thanks, MJP303
Bald SpotBy: payakoi Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
After poking around in the fallen oak leaves for a few minutes, I found it. MJP303
HAIKU PARKBy: Rain734 Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
So I find the cache and then return to my car below to get a pen. After signing the log, I go to replace the cache, and there's that mailman again! (Earlier post.) He's parked 5ft from the location, and not going anywhere for a while. So the cache stayed with me from 1 to 3pm while I found a few more Palo Alto caches. Hopefully no one else looked for it during that time. MJP303
The DeadBy: bthomas (maintained by kindredlaugh) Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Plenty of people paying their respects today, but none at the cache location. Is it good luck to leave a bit of change? Like throwing coins in a fountain? Strange. MJP303
Ardenwood: Spirits of the ForestBy: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
As others have mentioned, the evidence of previous cachers was apparent. Unfortunately, I ignored it for a few moments. A ranger drove by while I was searching. With all of the EBRPD controversy, I was a bit nervous. MJP303
Ardenwood: Baba Yaga is Waiting for YouBy: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
After poking around a bit, things opened up. MJP303
Ardenwood: Rows of NutsBy: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Despite appearances, I'm not so sure this cache site will stay in the same place. MJP303
Ardenwood: Lost in TimeBy: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular
This one took a while, even though we knew it was there. After giving up, came back later for a find. MJP303
Ardenwood: On the MoveBy: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
We drove by this cache, then I came back to get it while the kids looked at the farm animals. MJP303
Ardenwood: MoooSicBy: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
Nice camo. Plenty of families (including us SMILIE) eating lunch. MJP303
Ardenwood ScrabbleBy: GeoWomyn_SF_CA Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
This was a great series! We really enjoyed the park and all of the animals. Only two of the kids got pecked by the turkey [;)]!
I was the only one who made it to this final cache. Everyone else was more interested in the farm. It's probably a good thing: Like Woof! I took a direct route to the cache and waded throu gh a PO patch [:(].
Note to future finders: Stay on the trail even though it's a bit roundabout!
I traded for the kids and signed the log book. MJP303
