Saluting GeneralBy: woggs1 Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 4.0 Container: Regular
Workerofwood and I made the hike to this fantastic cache on a foggy morning. The area just adjacent to the tree was a steady rainshower because of the all the water being knocked down. It seems that the "arm" alone is bigger than most of the nearby trees!
I left a Jeep TB. Hopefully that will entice others to come along this trail. The climb back to the car had my lung s and legs burning. A perfect trip. mjp303

1pm. A very nice lunch-time walk. I was briefly confused about one of the clues, which led to incorrect coordinates. Tree PuzzleBy: Sierra Hikers Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
This was my second visit. I think it might have been AWOL on my first. It's never that hard to uncover a cache. TFTC. mjp303

I was so excited with the FTF that I used up two lines on the sheet. The numbering system is now messed up. Sorry.
Warning to night cachers: As I w as approaching the cache, I startled two SKUNKS [:O] who quickly ran back into the rocks. You might find more than you bargained for!

My Garmin e-Trex didn't like being in those trees. Good thing I had looked at the hint pictures before setting out. FTF!!! 3:30p I searched for awhile, finding a glass beer bottle, a plastic gatorade bottle, and finally, the cache.
