The ClearingBy: geekster Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
FTF!! 8:10am. Having been along this trail before going to Rain734's cache and the Tafoni, I knew right where it was. Well, finding it was another matter! Evil hide [}:)]! I nearly gave up a few times, but was determined to have the FTF and the WJTB that had eluded me over on Sugarloaf! BTW, the wax seal on the cache container must have gotten a little warm, since it has melted on one corner and oozed down the inside of the box. Not a big deal now, but the damage may continue. Left an unregistered 2005 USA geocoin. Thanks for the adventure. mjp303
The MotherlodeBy: geekster & tavahi Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
This cache rounded out my sweep of Geekster caches in El Corte de Madera OSP. Very nicely hidden and stocked! Alas, I am a bit of a swag cheapskate, and had maxxed my budget for this trip over at 'The Clearing', and so just signed the log. Thanks for a great morning jaunt! mjp303
This Old StumpBy: geekster Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small
FTF!! 8:25a Nicely done! Hey, I recognize that container. I should have just written my name in the log book before the raffle [;)]! TFTC. mjp303
Skeggs PointBy: MotorBug Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
There was only one mountain biker at his car on the other side of the parking lot, so I zeroed out and got to work. Ah...there it is. Now, off for a hike! Thanks, mjp303
Safe DiligenceBy: vaccine Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
In my haste, I was attracted to another more conventional hiding place. After ruling it out, the GPSr had caught up with me, and was indicating the true location. Afterwards, I hung around for awhile watching a couple of San Carlos' finest administering a roadside sobriety test. Things weren't going well for the driver. TFTC. mjp303
Little BridgeBy: nlrw Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
2nd try. After a little guidance from the cache owner, I was able to find it. A very nice use of available materials! [;)] On both of my visits, there was an accident pulled off the side of the freeway along the way. It makes me wonder how many there are each day. TFTC. mjp303
Boy, Am I Ever Hungry!By: NavySparksandtheMrs Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
Obviously no Sunday brunch at this place...deserted. TFTC. mjp303
Walk on byBy: vaccine Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
Following geekster again. I really enjoyed the loop back to the start after finding this cache: A nice dirt trail back to the park, then another paved trail back to the car. Thanks! mjp303
Pizza PowerBy: Bodster & Vaccine Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
I got around to this cache today since I was too busy trying to be a good host on Friday (something like that! [;)]) Thanks! It made the event a lot more fun. mjp303

Bug drop.

I wasn't going to claim a second find, but...(1) the trail I took was 250' up in 0.2 miles; whew! a lung buster! (2) Geekster beat me to the WJTB, so I'm feeling a little grumpy ([;)]) (3) vaccine said I could. So there. Thanks for a great hike; It wasn't too hot early this morning. Left a TB; took a TB. mjp303
Ca ņadamanduBy: crawburr Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Regular
I made the trek with the boys after swim lessons. I can't say I wasn't warned...but going after this one with two five year-olds in shorts and sandals wasn't one of my better decisions. [:I] Thanks for the view. We traded, and made it back to the car without incident. mjp303
Little BridgeBy: nlrw Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
Poked around for a while, with no luck. I can't believe I would have missed a cache larger than a micro in this area...unless it's got an attachment problem or is out of bounds. [:(] mjp303
Sunnyvale's Smallest Park?By: katiecacher Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Regular
I zipped over to this cache between events at my daughters' swim meet over at the high school. Thanks! mjp303

[:D]FTF!!![:D] 7:00a A nice hike in the early morning quiet. At the start I had to use my wits a bit since the path I picked to this cache doesn't follow the arrow right away. Still, I think I made a good choice. As I found the cache, the sun peeked (or is it peaked? [;)]) over the hill top. Coordinates were spot on. I took the TB, and left the FTF prize to a future finder. Thanks, mjp303
Tower Of PowerBy: Shores Scout, originally by NavySparksandtheM Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro
Thanks for another neighborhood cache. I thought it was going to be less than 0.1 mi to my 'Ex-evaporator' cache for sure. It turns out I was wrong; it's 530 feet. [:D] That's cutting it pretty close! In any case, no mountain lions here; not even an angry goose. [;)] mjp303
Costa ņos CaņonBy: WalruZ Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
Thanks for pointing out my finger spasm Kablooey [:I]. You're right, I was there at 12pm not 1pm. BTW, my favorite sandwich place is Picolo Pete's.
Costa ņos CaņonBy: WalruZ Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
[:D]FTF!!![:D] 12pm Thanks for showing me this hidden park! and for the additional help since my GPSr lost lock about 30 feet from the car...(hrumph...I paid a lot of money for that dang thing.) I was expecting to see a canon, but instead it was a ca ņon. FWIW, to get the tilde above the letter, hold down ALT key and type '164'! TFTC. mjp303
Major InconvenienceBy: crawburr Difficulty: 4.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
With a little prompting from the cache owner, we were able to come up a solution that made sense. BookieBear and SingR DancR signed the log too, although they didn't have too much to do with solving the puzzle. Since there were about a dozen earwigs living in the crevices on the underside of the cache container, we traded a rubber cockroach for the steel penny. Thanks, mjp303

Thanks for the July 4th diversion. Great view! mjp303
Our Lady of the RiverBy: Kreebelle & Kids (maintained by WalruZ) Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
We got distracted by the creek, and spent a long time playing at the waterside. The kids caught a toad, and had a ball playing on the natural bridge. Eventually we turned our attention to the cache. Thanks for bringing us to this cool and shady spot on a warm 4th of July! mjp303
Where's The Map?By: ibenthere Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
[:D]FTF!!![:D]7:30p I solved this puzzle right away, but told myself that I'd wait until a workday lunch to find it since I'd be quite a bit closer. Yeah, right! After watching it go unfound for nearly two days, I couldn't take it any more, and off I went. A fun puzzle, a great hike, and a panoramic view. What more could I want? Thanks! T: GC keychain compass; L: Unregistered 2005 USA geocoin. It's my first FTF on a puzzle cache! Yippeeee!!!
