Isuzu GoneBy: TeamAlamo Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Whew! It was pretty toasty in the ol' Isuzu this afternoon. I couldn't find the A/C, or the motor, or steering wheel, or any wheel for that matter...but I did find the cache. In the end, that was the only accessory I really cared about. Thanks! mjp303
Surfin' SafariBy: crawburr Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
I love caches where the hide reveals itself and I laugh out loud. What a hoot! The waves were pretty high today, and there were lots of surfers. The llamas were pretty cool too. Just as I was ready to replace the cache, 3 boys came along on bikes and spent quite a while feeding and talking to 'Mike' who was quite curious about them. I was able to return the cache while their attention was diverted. Although it's wedged in place pretty tight, a little maintainance would probably be advisable. Thanks, mjp303
Tsunami RangersBy: vaccine Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
What a cool building and bridge! I had to dodge several newlywed couples (shiny rings are a dead giveaway!) and the usual assortment of joggers and bicyclists. TFTC. mjp303
Top Of RalstonBy: NavySparksandtheMrs Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
GPSr was kinda squirrely this morning, and I had to dodge kids walking to school, making this find a bit more challenging than expected. Thanks for the views! Dropped off the Lizard TB. mjp303
TA@10K #5000: Double UpBy: bthomas Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 3.5 Container: Small
Congrats TA on becoming a full fisted cacher. [8D] 2TF! Having already hiked the service road from the end of Trinity Road to find 'Above the Stars', I opted for the shorter and STEEPER (!?!) trail from Firth Park. Whoever created that trail missed the chapter on switchbacks in trail-building class. If anybody finds my left lung along the trail, could I please have it back? I coughed it up trying to catch my breath. Note to self: Nothing looks steep in an arial photo. Thanks for the views! They were definitely worth the effort. mjp303
Gateway to HillsboroughBy: anotherone Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Nice bridge! Thanks for showing me the spot. mjp303
Bad Dog!By: vaccine Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
2nd visit. After re-searching all the same places a second time (so I thought!), I used a lifeline to help focus my efforts. Duh! I had the cache in hand 15 seconds after we hung up the phone. TFTF(frustration)[;)]. mjp303
Bev-Mo ParkBy: nlrw Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
Patrons of the nearby businesses were starting to gawk. Anybody know how to recover lost geocaching mojo?
Agnew ParkBy: nielsenc Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
I had to go to the airport this morning, so I was within striking distance of this cache, and a new geocoin icon was the goal. Much to my frustration, I arrived on scene and realized my pen had leaked all over my geocaching bag. [:(] Well, the proof of my presence will have to be logging the NJ coin! Thanks, mjp303
Almost EdenBy: mjp303 (adopted by niraD) Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
Coin drop; I was there after PisoMojado.
Deck-ViewBy: woggs1 Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 3.0 Container: Regular
Arriving at the cache site, I laughed out loud. What a suprise! Thanks for the fun. mjp303
Meadow TrailBy: MotorBug Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Regular
Nice little stroll. TFTC. mjp303
Ridge Trail View # 2By: MotorBug Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Small
I was worried about sssssnakesssss, but didn't see any. The hissing of the wind through dry grass kept me on my toes though. The last visitors to the cache were a couple of muggle kids from Guatamala. Fortunately their spanglish was good enough for me to decipher. TFTC. mjp303
Ridge Trail View # 1By: MotorBug Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 2.0 Container: Micro
A clear day with a light breeze. Million dollar views. Great! TFTC. mjp303
Crazy Pete's Money CacheBy: Jim and Jeanette Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small
Thank goodness it hasn't rained in a while, the cache was sitting open in its little hiding place. Either that, or there's a muggle making withdrawls. Yeah, that must be it...since the only coin of value was an EU 10 cent piece. [;)] TNLNSL. mjp303
Ridge with a ViewBy: Jim and Jeanette Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Regular
Passed a few dogs, and a multi-million dollar house. TFTC. mjp303
Bad Dog!By: vaccine Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Too tricky for me! Nice to meet joewo and his very friendly dog. Unfortunately for us, vacine sternly refused my entreaties for a hint since all of us were unaware that the cache had already been found. Thanks for bringing me back to this nice new park. mjp303
Purisima Creek ParkingBy: geekster Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
I arranged to meet NavySparks for this hike. Poor satelite reception was the theme for today, and we wandered around for a bit until Herb made the find. TFTC. mjp303
Cave Dweller of Purisima CreekBy: geekster Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small
What a beautiful hike! Thanks for placing caches along this trail. T: sig dog tag; L: Protech alien, CA wooden nickel. Again, with poor satelite reception, the hint was quite welcome. mjp303
Purisima Creek TrollBy: geekster Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 2.5 Container: Small
This cache had NS and me quite perplexed for a while, as we were looking for a true troll, and not just a troll with a whole lot of sunscreen on. I'm not going to quibble too much, but since you did say you took a wrong turn when you placed these caches, I think it should be called Whittemore Gulch troll [;)]. In any case, thanks for a fantastic little series. mjp303
Beyond The EndBy: TheSunnyOaks Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
Very nice. I sat watching the waves for quite a while after finding the cache. Thanks! mjp303
Electric LizardBy: oneangrypuppy and frivlas Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Micro
We (the adults) tried to convince the kids to stay in the car while we made the search. No go! Those long pouty faces were too much to take. Eventually one of them made the find: Claire (12) was positively walking on air when I told her that she found a cache that Marky DNF'd earlier in the day. Thanks! mjp303
Go FishBy: PrincessIchi Difficulty: 2.0 Terrain: 1.0 Container: Small
Like Mrs. NavySparks says, we were pretty befuddled at the first stage till MrNS sheepishly coughed it up. After that, they tagged along to see how we would tackle the final cache. There were a few nervous moments while we attempted to retreive it, since they had left a sorta heavy TB in there. Fortunately, it was just a matter of getting the right angle, and all was well. Lotsa fun. The kids found a few trees to climb while the adults chatted. TFTC. mjp303
Beginner's LuckBy: PrincessIchi Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
I brought the whole family along on this one. The boys fought over a little squirt gun, and the girls argued about a piece of blue glass. Ahhh, family life: you gotta love it, otherwise it'll drive you crazy. I'm sure we made peace eventually, but I be darned if I can remember what we left in trade. TFTC. Oh, I lived in Escondido Village about 35 years ago. Looks exactly the same.
Screwed UpBy: WeBeDnD Difficulty: 3.0 Terrain: 4.5 Container: Large
It's been a long time coming, but I finally found this cache. Better late than never.
Jerry Garcia AmphitheatreBy: rosmo Difficulty: 2.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
Even for a Sunday afternoon, weird how deserted this park is. Just my luck then that the only people around were collecting blackberries in the bushes by the seats. Out of their line of sight, I made the find. TNLNSL. Thanks.
Water DogsBy: rosmo Difficulty: 1.0 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Regular
Just like the other cache, there were people just a few feet away. Fortunately, I was behind the bushes, and made a quick find. I liked the camo, but even so, this cache seemed a bit exposed, so I tried to conceal it with natural materials. Thanks for showing me this part of MacLaren Park. mjp303

[8D]FTF![8D] 12:25p Yeah, I've always wondered about that freeway ramp. Hidden in typical gritty nlrw style. I had to pause a bit until Mr. CHP cleared out, but after that no troubles on a Saturday. T: Flag pin; L: Sharkz sig tooth. Thanks, mjp303
Back To Crystal SpringsBy: NavySparksandtheMrs Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Micro
TFTC! After the find, I hiked up past the other cache, since I was curious where the road would end up. After poking around a bit I noticed a geo-pile. Hmmm, I thought, there's no cache here. After a bit of moving sticks, I discovered a tarp. It was wrapped around a milk crate that was stocked with half a dozen wine and beer bottles. [:P] That's a first for me! mjp303
Electric FieldsBy: NavySparksandtheMrs Difficulty: 1.5 Terrain: 1.5 Container: Small
